  • Cant believe Minoa was able to not only survibe getting pancaked but then turned the tables and HELD BB DOWN. Insane stamina and will power. That entire time he had to keep the squeeze on him and he outlasted him.

    • Severely overweight people (a la butterbean) have a hard time rolling over. If you are large enough you can keep them down with good technique. Then it's just a matter of draining their stamina which happens faster the larger the body is.

    • @@justaneditygangstar If memory serves, he was only given a couple months to train it max, I think a single month. All things considered, his wrestling is decent, but I think it would take a really long time to correctly use all that weight as an advantage, rather than just immediately becoming exhausted.

  • One thing I really want to emphasize is after the match was over, it looked like Minowa wanted to help Butterbean up. There was a true sense of sportsmanship here between these two and I really admire that. It seems to be lost in the modern trash-talking era of professional fighting.

  • Years ago I met Butterbean and Irish Mickey Ward they were promoting a fight in our area. I'll tell you this when Butterbean shook my hand it disappeared in those giant mitts like I was a little kid. Man he's huge.

  • Wow, didn't think it would go out like that. In the end, and no dishonor, it's best to tap than lose a elbow. Great and entertaining fight! Butterbean is always entertaining and didn't disappoint here. Minowa is someone i learned of from this, that 2nd drop kick aside, he was amazing.

  • that was a different start to a match up and minowa impressive on the bottom being so much smaller two, while perhaps he's one of those grapplers who can feel really heavy on top.

  • At first i thought he was stupid for trying a drop kick the second time. Obviously he was ready for it. But then i realized he wanted it on the ground and that was the safest way. He brilliantly lured him to the ground in order to avoid the punching power, then reversed him and arm bar. Brilliant moves
