Have you ever tried EFT tapping for anxiety? Nick Ortner of The Tapping Solution shares a simple, introductory, three-minute EFT tapping technique you can do anywhere to instantly reduce stress and even stop a panic attack.
Follow along with these steps:
1. Close your eyes, and tune into your breath.
2. Start tapping on the side of one hand (the “karate-chop point”) with four fingers of the other hand.
3. Tap through face points, including the edge of the eyebrow, temples, cheekbones, upper lip, chin, collarbone, under the arm, and top of the head.
4. Close your eyes, and return to your breath.
Watch the video to get all the visuals, plus Nick’s messages you can repeat to yourself while tapping to release stress and anxiety.

  • I cannot be more grateful to come across this video. My anxiety and depression were bad today, and during my first time through the video and tapping, I started crying. The intentions you speak while doing this made me realize I don’t ever truly give permission to myself to feel at whatever heights I feel at, and then let them go from my body. By the end of the three minutes I truly was breathing better. I played through it again, and the second time I noticed less coming to the surface of my mind when I looked for the stressors. Thank you thank you thank you 🙏🙏🙏

I'll do this before I leave for the session and do the tapping on my hand right after that put the mask on. Ironically my radiation is going right into one of the tapping points (between my eye brows) which I think will make this even more helpful.

    • RubyMCB Only if anxiety affects your internal health psychological counselling will be needed. Heal yourself. Your breath is directly related to your mind [brain] causing negative thoughts-anxiety-stress. For a relaxed life sit on a chair, back erect, hands on lap with palms upwards, eyes closed, be still and observe your natural incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for around 10-15 minutes. Be as still as possible. Many thoughts will come which is ok--slowly negative thoughts will reduce and your mind will relax. During your daily activity keep observing your breath consciously. Best part is mood swings also reduce. Do the above meditation daily to feel relaxed. For more healing enter the following on google search and listen before sleep repeating the affirmations for 10 minutes in your mind. -“528 Hz affirmations for health and healing you tube”. You will get relief quickly. Best wishes. Shyaaam Sir. -Counsellor. Be assertive in life. Never say "Yes" when you mean"No'.

  • I actually discovered tapping by pure instinct while having panic attacks. In the midst of freaking out I started tapping parts of my body with both hands rythmically like I was playing drums to just try and distract myself and noticed that my pounding heartrate decreased rather quickly. I have also seen my vet do a simalar tapping thing to my cat when they are admistering a shot so it must be a way to distract the brain. It seems to work!

I feel if there is stress in the shoulders we can't breathe properly. Shoulders are busy carrying weight! So what released for me was first to acknowledge that I was allowed to carry the weight (bc duh, we are not supposed to be judgemental which is the flip side of "carrying the weight) and then to be able to shift that so its not carried in our sweet body.

  • I find listening to people talking when I have anxiety or feeling stressed out makes it even worse. I need to be in a peaceful environment with no human talking around me in that moment. I discovered being outdoor in the woods, hearing birds chirping, listening to the running water in the creeks or even to the sound of the light rain very helpful while I’m meditating to manage my stress.
