  • And yes, there is a reason the process is called *sand* casting. 3000 year old , from Assyrians and Sumerians to year 2024 Greeks made their Bronze statues this way. Titanic propellers, steam engine parts, etc. , 3000 years later, were still made this way. Millions of cast iron parts being done likewise TODAY. Better safety? No doubt. But the process is still basically the same. Again, much respect to these hard working guys who are providing for their families.
