I listened to this when I read the Lord of the Rings for the first time. It was an ethereal experience.
Two weeks straight of writing, needing ambience to both mask noise that I can't control and to keep my imagination focused and undistracted. I just don't get tired of this. It is not grating or boomy in any way, it's not distracting sonically. It's composed to sort of keep in time with thought, at least it seems that way. It i also not too static or "doomy"", it has just the right blend of consonance and dissonance, musicality and non-musicality. Thanks a million.
A more prefect description I doubt I'll find one. I use this for reading and writing and now that I look at your comment am kind of surprised at how many times I default this when I need some ambience. A million and one things and i'll still use this half the time more then others.
This soundtrack have been helping me out in the most disturbing times of my life, since I've first listened to it I'm simply thankful to the effort you've put on this and make you know how it's important to me My sincerest thank you
Are you doing better now?
@@thundersilas1233 Since then, things got a little out of hand, but I'm used to it. I always try to find inner peace listening to music and soothing my emotions. Thank you for asking

@Ando beatz I've been working out for the past month and I'm physically improving. Thanks for the advice, I'll keep exervising

One of the best, if not the best, ambient mix I have listened to. I have listened to this mix for 2 years now and still revisit often.
I listen to it every day at my job while programming.
Well its been nearly 5 years, but I've finally found something which is similar to the Skyrim Atmospheres tracks. Thank you so much for making and uploading this, this is awesome.
Same. Really excellent stuff here.
Binx Oh my goodness, same here! I discovered this beautiful track looking for something like "Atmospheres," too!
Same!!! I thought I was the only one xD
Speaking of which, has anyone found anything similar
@@richardvandeketterij3700 Nee je bent niet de enige. Skyrim Atmosphere is magisch, nog nooit iets als dat gehoord
Nothing better to write stories to. Thanks for the upload, let's the imagination run wild.
Verdade!
I was doing just that right now hahahaha
Agreed

I know this is 4 years late but this is the highest quality ambience I've ever heard, and as a person who loves fantasy over anything else, this really hit the spot
it does man. it helps me sleep every night, especially when my mind is too hyped it filled with energy, it helps me calm down.
Agreed! Been listening to this almost daily for six years while I work.
Didn't realise the clouds were moving :O
But they were not...you were.
Back- and foreground clouds are even moving in opposite directions. Must be some very weird mountain range winds.
@@domsjuk If they are at different heights that is entirely possible. I have seen this phenomenon from the ground a few times, as the atmosphere has distinct layers, even close to the earth.
and snow
It's crazy how they are moving, but don't ever move...
I have a peculiar association. I once went on a solitary hike up into the mountains, here in the sub-arctic regions, going up from below in the green and warm, sunlit valley at 700 meters above sea level up to 1300 meters, where there were no trees, just bare rock, mosses, alpine flora and the cool autumn night descending on me in my little tent, with no possibility to connect to civilization. The bare cold rock of the mountains surrounded me, and as the sun went down behind the mountains I tried to enjoy the last few rays of warmth that barely reached me through the rapidly cooling air. I felt alone and a bit uneasy, even though I was well prepared and had my little tent up in time. I should have prioritized more on food and warmth, even though I was fine. I could have stayed longer if I had more food. But I never felt such a strange feeling of being alive and at the same time feeling detached from the world around me, as - even though subconsciously I was looking for answers to the questions of existence/creation - Nature kept silent. I still am trying to find words for what I was feeling that night. It was sobering (being detached from everything I usually take as a given: comfort, food, heating, instant communication etc.) and weird and frightening and awesome all at the same time. I did not see one single animal, although at night I heard something small (a fox?) quietly rummaging outside my tent. Possibly the best word to describe it was sublime (without any of the mushy warm feelings of the popular/colloquial use of the word, to be sure). It was one of the greatest (deepest, subtly intense) experiences of my life.
I can relate, but you might had different experience than me. Anyway, its hard to describe those rare nostalgic feelings we get with words. Something associated with loneliness and maybe darkness, but beautiful at the same time.
The mountain realm speaks the language of music, as the clouds orbit and listen. The dialect originates from the undefined threshold of a deathless horizon.
This music does to me something that I cannot put into words...
I can't stress you enough how hard it is to find ambiance music.
This reminds me of Iceland when I was visiting it during winter. This piece of music perfectly describes the ambience of the whole country in winter. Dark, light, scary, peaceful.
I just want you to know how much the fantasy music in this series has impacted me. This is the most beautiful piece I’ve ever heard. Keep doing what you’re doing. Im so touched. Have an amazing day
This in my opinion is still the best atmospheric ambient there is.
Would love to hear a followup Volume 3 if you ever felt like compiling one. this vibe is golden.
3 volume is out 🎉
One of my favorite audio's for sitting down, focusing, or just getting lost in my thoughts. Thank you.
For the past four years, on new years I play this super loud on my speaker in the bathroom where my scared dog hides from firework noises. It never fails to drown out the firework noise and calm her down. She sleeps right through it :)
We want volume 3. This is awesomee
Yesss !!! Vol. 3 please!!!
Absolutely. I need Volume III!
Yes, and preferably lengthier than the previous ones
A-a-a-and vol. 3 is out!
Love volume 3 😊
I use this regularly for studying and paper writing. It's so relaxing and just a nice background that isn't too distracting.
with this music and this ambience, i imagine myself walking in those mountain paths, no noise, no stupid people, just silence and the sounds of nature.
“Sing like no one is listening, love like you've never been hurt, dance like no one is watching, and live like heaven on earth.” 🌹🍃!!! !!!
This gives me chills to listen to. I reminisce over the DnD campaigns I've played... A young, Circle of Twilight druid, gazing sadly over the waves of a river. A burning city reflected in her eyes, lost to a plague of undead. An aged Aasimar ranger squints in to the white frozen landscape, a frost giant dead at her feet. She looks back, seeing her fellow party searching the wreckage of the town for survivors. A tabaxi bard lovingly plucks the strings of a lute, whilst seated on the roof of her theatre. As the sun sets on Waterdeep, she thinks of her dear friend, whose instrument she holds in her hands. Now I want to play DnD again
First time doing shrooms today. 27 years old. Took em on a hike through the Tahoe Meadows on the nevada/california border mountain ridge. Now im in my room, almost an hour into this. In bliss. Cheers everyone
Did you ome back down????
I love that music, and all these misty landscapes....I miss them
Open the window of your mind. Allow the fresh air, new lights and new truths to enter.
Just wanted to give thanks for the music! Surprisingly this channel actually keeps my pet from freaking out; Hope who ever finds this post has a most blessed day ❤️
The moment the music began I felt all the stress of the day just evaporate away.
Wow I experience the exact the same thing. Once it starts I feel like I can breathe stress out
Your backgrounds are worthy of a huge 4K display just playing them on a loop in a studio.
what a cool video, good for my book reading
helping me get through my property and casualty exam study! Would love an 'underwater mermaid' hour with bubbling and water noises and whale sounds
This is love. This is better than the music on the radio.
Please please please, I hope you will make a 3rd Volume of this. The quality of this one is amazing and I hope the 3rd one is going to be even better.
its out now
These two companion pieces are masterworks. For me that means, just enough “music” just enough “soundscape”.
Thanks airing and sharing the outstanding video with magnificent Sound ' textures ' of Ambient.Your musical endeavors are preponderance.Bliss
a good piece. headache removes quickly, relax
Yes! A second volume!! Thank you Guild of Ambience - I am forever at your service...
Bro putting on a VR headset and listening to this in skyrim is golden, thank you for all you've done
I have listened to this track all the way through at least three dozen times over the last year.
I heard this the first time it came out and used to listen to this everytime while studying, now it feels nostalgic :)
Unreal, thanks for keeping it mellow. The worst is when suddenly Dagorath yells in your ear.
This is the -best- fantasy ambiance.
wow i skipped to about 21 min and the music i landed on was pretty special. again, wow. who did the music... they got a major talent for ambient music...
Deep in the mountains, among the silent and shrouded peaks, the cold north winds are rising and the old Gods rise with them.......WHY ARE READIG THE COMMENTS? Get back to work or sleep dear friend.
53:40 Breath of the Universe! So deep, so beautiful... Calmly☺️❤️
Brother, I get scared when I watch this video, but I repeat the video more than once and enjoy it Oh my God, it's an indescribable feeling that this voice reminds me of the events of the past💙🌺🌺
So dreamy that it throws me back in dwarven ruins.
can't do a D&D campaign without your music, thanks a lot !
By Shor... I love this ambient fantasy music! I revisit this volume quite often! May Arkay bless you with long life!
It’s been four years since I’ve first arrived in Hawkinsville, GA. I’ve since gotten myself a house in its neighborhood, the Victorian one I’ve always liked, that is. I’ve owned the majority of what little industry was available in the city, and I’ve built up a formidable army of Native Americans much like me myself. Now, living in a sort of fantasy I’ve always dreamed of, away from all the negativity in the world today, I’ve only grown closer to God, and my relationship with Him was what prompted me to know that I never had to be stuck at where I was then, nor trapped with what other people thought. Many adventures have also been taken since then. I’ve fought off gangs of criminals with my blades and guns, taken on beasts in the old abandoned Chandler Mine, and even ventured out into the Hawkinsville badlands on numerous occasions to tame what could be said to be the Wild West. Many times I have played this musical ambience as a sign to move forward in life, to take on challenges I never thought I could do before, especially not as a child. What inspired all of this? Stardew Valley and Survivalcraft, that is! It’s still a decision I’m very proud of to this day, as I knew I still have much life to go before I went to the grave. I’ve even revived the old Dirty Dozen Hunting Club cabin and refurbished it into a community center. Now it’s the Dirty Dozen Community Center. Now, armed with only my diamond edge iron machete and powerful musket, I’ve vowed to protect the community of Hawkinsville no matter what. I could only see brightness ahead of me, as I knew that for one, AAA games and indie games should get along, no matter what. I’ve done well to make the city of Hawkinsville a better place for all, and I show no regret in my decision to move over there.
Celestial. For various reasons we think of mountains as sacred places. Above a certain level, they are more a part of the sky than of the earth. Long ago people believed you might encounter creatures who were from that heavenly dimension. Moses, for one, had his famous encounter. Look! There's Heidi and her Grandpa eating goat yogurt and yodeling favorite tunes.
This sound helps me calm down. It's running the whole day in my study-office!
Riding the sands of the Alik'r Desert at night, on Elder Scrolls to these sounds. Soo perfect
make more like this!!!!! please! youre helping me with my insomnia like 3 years man.... I am so greatful!!!
Ambient - is the greatest music from even listened by me.
Huge ambient listener here, and this is still my favourite one of all time. I have easily listened to this over a hundred times, and also have taken incredible naps to this. If you try this, the bell chimes and birds at 48:30 act as a soothing wake up alarm, and the last 5 minutes of the mix are such a brilliant and calming end that brings back sounds from the intro.
how can I make it my wake-up alarm?
I don't have enough words to portray how immersive this is. Perfect for writing of any kind.
These great mountains grace the sky as it feeds water into the grassy landscape, caves shelter wizards as they’re presence here empowers a mystical force that has aided many warriors in endless battlefields
i've just discovered this absolute treasure and oh my god, OH MY GOD where has it BEEN a few months ago when i was going through exams... i wish i'd found it sooner, but now that i'm in uni i'll be here 24/7 for sure. it's magical.
I got snowed in overnight in the mountains back in April. Had this playing to keep me going and see it as an adventure instead of a bad situation haha. Thank you TGoA
sounds really nice, actually
Amen for protecting yourself from pirates. And for making some of the best "light ambient" music on the Tube.
We need new, atmoshperic videos from you! :) This is pure Joy
One of the best ambient tracks I've heard ever
I am in love with this, i haven't skipped a single day without listening to this masterpieces for hours, while walking, writing, working, studying.
Listening to this while reading about Ancient Egyptian Pharaohs is surprisingly enlightening.
I cant sleep or write story without listening to this which means I cant live without this!
I feel like I’m doing my homework on top of the mountains
Listening to this while reading Ascension ⛰
This is what I love to listen to while staying alone in my room, at night and only the lights from my PC and monitor illuminate my room, thus creating magical shadows on the walls and ceiling.

When I am stressed over school or even depressed about life, I listen to this channel. It puts me in a tranquil/meditative like state and helps clear my mind. Plus it restores my faith in the world by reminding me of the wondrous and mysterious ways in which nature works. Thanks much, keep it up.
OH MY GOODNESS. ANOTHER ONE?????? YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH I LOVEDDDDD THE FIRST ONE, it was AMAZING! I'd listen to it before almost every exam/while studying the night before to calm myself down - I love it so much and it helps me alot. Thank you soooo much!!
Chloe Fung seriously me too!! I wish I had more money to donate. This is worth it. I want more of this! I listen to this when I study and sleep . It takes me out of myself. So beautiful and magical. Guild of Ambience is my fave
there is another one added
I'm listening to this at work quite a lot, often parallel to one of your Sound Ambience videos. Really awesome work you did here, will definately buy this track as well and give a little support on your Patreon. Keep it coming, mate!
Honestly, I love this mix so much, I've been listening to it for so many months straight, I might as well just pay the damn $7 and support the artist. Amazing work man. Wow.
I do this exact thing. I'll keep the river campfire on while I listen to podcast as well. But when I need to really focus, Vol. 1 and 2 been holdin me down at the office.
The picture goes with the spacious, lush, enchanted music
I use this. Everytime I have trouble going to sleep at night and just stay up till AM, I put this on, lay down, listen to the music (the helping thing about it is that it triggers memories since i used it back in my past times) close my eyes, and go to sleep. So yeah, basically what im saying is that, it’s nostalgia music that helps me go to sleep. Thank you for uploading this. It helps alot ^^
why life cant be simple and beautiful, close to nature. with it own slow pace and beauty of little things
I definitely look forward to more pieces like this 🙏🏻❤️ thank you Guild of Ambience
Every time I go back to this, it evokes something magical within and sets imagination to wander, to write. Thanks a lot for the talent you share, so happy I found this channel ❤️
thank you that this exists I had given up hope on ambient ... most of it made me so depressed lately ... your music brings back the light for me
I literally listen to this every single day. It helps me think, especially the music toward past half the video.
I've seen a lot of these kinds of videos on You Tube, but The Guild of Ambience I think just gets it. Its a bit eerie, yet totally sets a mood. Fantastic!
Wow. This and Cryo Chamber have to be my favorite channels for professionally curated ambient playlists like this, the emotional journey is very strong.
Just perfect for studying the history of medieval English
Pure great atmospheric. Excellent work !
I came right here when I saw the notification this morning! YES! Even without hearing it all, I know it's going to be amazing. The subtle animated/beautiful scenery is awesome as well. Thank you!
I use every volume of enchanted lands for my dnd campaign, absolutely stellar stuff. Love it.
I clicked on the Hero Forge ad b/c for once, FOR ONCE, the ad matched the content. And thanks for the sounds, Guild of Ambience!
This is absolutely sensational. Guaranteed to relax even the most hyper of personalities in the universe... Thank you for creating this!
What a perfection is that... I imagine Ancient Greek warriors coming down from these mountains to fight for the good of the western world. I'm with them in this battle.
And we are with you, brother!
This and volume 1 are the soundtrack to hslf of my life. Perfect to help with my insomnia and amplifies the atmosphere around me when in nature. Can we get a volume 3 pleaseee
Your dreams came true :)))
Best music for reading fantasy books
The tears won't stop coming, thank you for the healing.
Listened to it 20 times, this is your best work
The first one really helped me with so many sleepless nights or when I needed a nap but had my roommate typing beside me, haha. I'm so stoked for this. I imagine myself standing atop that mountain, looking down the valley below, ready to rebel against the destiny set for me as a princess of the highlands. ("Brave" inspired anyone? lol)
Wait... why is your room mate sleeping beside you?
Why wouldn't her roommate be sleeping beside her?
I like volume 2 a lot. It's a little more serious sounding than volume 1 and 3, without getting too dark, perfect for a moody and mysterious atmosphere!
Wow - absolutely wonderful space music. Would love to listen to this out in the middle of the desert, during a dark starry night just gazing up at the sky.
Im reading Mountains of Madness at the moment and it fits so right in the background to the atmosphere, the story tries to give you. Thanks for uploading
