  • I don’t want to sound like an idiot... but sometimes I wish that we could have a world where we would go on adventurous journeys.. to mystical places unknown, discovering new creatures and plant life. Riding dragons and meeting new people to help you along the way. That is literally the best thing ever to me. Even when I was younger, I’ve had a grasp of how things could never be this way. But I tried to make it come true. Just to do that... be there.. make memories... that would be life changing. I would never want to leave a world like that... And I know this might sound weird, but I’ve always seemed to have some kind of weird connection between certain frequencies and places... some of them would make me feel lonely, others made me cry, wishing I could be there, but giving me the same sense of loneliness. For example, hiking atop a foggy, humid mountain in the middle of no where, floating alone in space, or being a bird migrating across the sea. Perhaps even a dark sunset at the beach, with nobody else. Just sitting there, and taking it all in... it gives me a feeling that’s impossible to explain. Maybe there’s something wrong with me... but the feeling... it’s a good one. Even the feeling of loneliness and sadness intermix with the happiness and the anger. And I know I sound like I’m creating a clear picture that everybody understands... but I feel like no amount of explaining would ever be able to even scratch the surface of how I feel about all of this. Just looking into my front yard right now shows endless chances, possibilities, places to go, and things to discover. It’s sickening knowing that no matter how much you dream, reality will always be chains tied to your existence. I could say much more, but I feel like I would be wasting your time. Thank you. Edit: Thank you all so much for the support. Every. Single. One of you. I read all of your replies. That’s right! I’m paying attention to the replies all the time, and it’s hard to believe people care about mine and their feelings this much. This really means a lot to me that other people understand... well... _think_ they understand. I don’t really know if everybody is on the same page or not... but anyway, thank you guys so much. You are all such wonderful people. ❤️

    • "Suppose... suppose we have only dreamed and made up these things like sun, sky, stars, and moon, and Aslan himself. In that case, it seems to me that the made-up things are a good deal better than the real ones. And if this black pits of a kingdom is the best you can make, then it's a poor world. And we four can make a dream world to lick your real one hollow." "I'm on Aslan's side even if there isn't any Aslan to lead it. I'm going to live as like a Narnian as I can even if there isn't any Narnia." --Puddleglum from The Silver Chair, The Chronicles of Narnia (Puddleglum when he was denying the brainwashing that the world was a cold, dark, underground place, and that Narnia was just a myth)

There are other things like that as well. I think if you put the emphasis on the "fellowship" and not the fantasy trappings, you can find what you're looking for.

  • Listening to this while writing my book series. The beauty of being a writer is being able to create worlds and stories and get them onto the page, and the pain of being a writer is wanting to live in the world you've created. It's always so close, yet so far away.

    • Same with me. Although it is hard to think you could never really exist within the world you’ve made, when you read it you do forget your reality. In a way it is like you are there. It does make me sad to know that I may never get to meet my characters face to face, but it is nice to know that at least I gave them life. It is kind of like God’s situation. He created us and knows every one of us inside and out and loves us more than we could ever know, but some of us don’t even know of him or that we are one of his “characters.”Just like we love our characters and know how they will come into the story and how they will leave it. And I like to think that the present day is the page God is writing. He sits patiently with us as the good and the bad unfold, and he laughs and he cries with us as they do, but he never leaves nor could he stop loving us because of our mistakes. I also like to think I am a magical time wizard of sorts, and that I can shift from one world to the next, and live in two totally different realities. All this makes writing all the more enchanting.

It's okay to rest your weary and worried head and heart upon the bosom of Mother... nestled in her cradling arms... " Music has a lot of sway in emotions which is why it used to be last in the making of films and animation... But now it has to be done at the same time... But... we are all moving so fast... too fast in this world... we don't get to live in the moment... as if it's a sin to do so.. I've tried looking for some things to soothe me.. and i keep coming back to this one... Hello brethren... Hugs...

Now, I sit beneath the stars, and I am barren of your memory. There are no true children in this world now. They could travel in the forest, surviving by hunting. They could hide under trees during rain. They would tell folktales of dragons, beyond the world, and now... it’s just sad to see that so many people are CONTENT with sitting down in a desk their whole life, not wanting to spend weeks in a forest with your friends. Nature is definitely a part of us, and we should never stray too far from it, but when it comes to the fantastical lifestyles we all dream about while reading JRR Tolkien and playing Skyrim, the people who gave us these old stories and trains of thought about the wanderers life HAD to make their life seem magical and, if not for culture, then for sanity. I do believe that the perfect balance for society lies somewhere between the modern way, with it's technological and medical advances, and the old ways in regards to the connection to and modest use of nature, but unfortunately the world prefers iPhones and McDonnalds. I suppose the best thing you can do is take nature walks, learn to forage and find a simple place to live that close to nature.

  • I came to Hawkinsville, GA, as a Native American, to escape the harsh realities of this world. Now, I’ve started a small kingdom out of a house made of petrified wood planks, with watchtowers, cottages for others of my new kind to live in, and barracks and fortresses for military means, to complete the whole picture. Chandler Mine is my go-to for mineral resources, and I’ve already forged new diamond-edged iron tools and weapons for the purposes of hunting and farming. What prompted me to live this new kind of life were not indie games or a desire to go back to the good old days and never look forwards again, but rather, the unsurmountable amount of sin in the world now, all accessible via the internet or your local club. It was everywhere; I wanted to get away from it all. But now, I’ve been called to the badlands of Hawkinsville, where creatures and criminals roamed free without a care in the world. A gang has set up camp there, and donned with my diamond-plated iron armor and carrying a spare set of germanium-plated copper armor for good measure, and with diamond edge iron machete in hand, along with a spare germanium edge copper machete, I’ve set out to get those criminals arrested, along with the usual hunting of wildlife to keep the city of Hawkinsville safe. My trip in my gloss black 1920s-esque car was well, and I was ready to find adventure here in the wilderness. I had to wear full diamond armor for the occasion; as much as I wanted to wear my fur hat and calvary boots this fine January day, I just couldn’t risk getting shot and taken out by one of these bandits should they ever confront me. I had to be prepared, I had to. It’s been a year since I first moved to Hawkinsville in search of a new life. I’ve already found it right here in the central part of the Slade Farm, but glory was still a long ways away. It’s also been a while since my original diamond tools had worn out, but I was happy with my new tools I crafted from the environment around and in Chandler Mine. They were amazing; I never thought that craftsmanship could ever reach - never mind surpass - the level of store-bought quality they ever had to offer. I of course started out with the bare minimum of resources: just wood and stone. All I had was a stone axe and sheer strength, at least I was a strong man able to easily do a lot with the axe still. But over time, I grew stronger, and even moved away from the club. Survivalcraft inspired this whole adventure in life, and this ambient music is what sets the tone for my adventures in Hawkinsville.

That's kind of what it sounds like. I once listened to the jurassic park theme slowed down by 1000%... this instance would be more like 50%. This journey that I lead myself not only will bring much rest, nevertheless it binds true to the holy kingdom. I hear by listening and listen to the beautiful aromas that surround these enchanted islands. I now know that the ambience that is here in front of me is special in its own form. I will travel down it nonetheless until it brings me peace.

  • Listening to this while going into much further detail into my dnd character's family lore than I probably need to (currently writing about the grandparents and the aunt and uncle from their mother's side, and will eventually continue on to write about their uncles, aunts and cousins from their dad's side, most of these people whom they haven't even met lol). Not only is it fun to write such in depth lore, it also gives such intense opportunities for the DM to use any of these characters for just about anything! She's a newer DM, so anything that I can do to possibly inspire or keep her going I love to do! For any DMs or simply just writers reading this comment: keep going! I'm proud of how far your story has progressed so far!

  • Walking through pine forests when the morning is still so young that dew lingers on the cones, there's nothing quite like it. When the first fresh air flows through your nostrils, breathing new life into you. I feel so alive, so good, so fulfilled every time. There's nothing better than walking on a forest floor, standing on it, or sleeping on it. The earth exudes a scent, the wind rustles through the treetops, making the branches sway, and somewhere in the distance, a woodpecker drums. How healthy and strong nature always made me feel when I was out and about for days. My limbs brimmed with vitality, and my mind was crystal clear.

  • I listened to this wonderful track often, early 2020 at the start of the pandemic. Having the possibility to work from home, it opened a new world for me. I realized my work (mainly because of the commute time) was taking too much time from me, preventing me from spending time with my young son. I realized I sorely missed the mountains and nature of my childhood. The lockdown was not a pleasant time, it was full of doubt and fear but my son and I spent a lot of time together, and I realized what is important in life. It was an eerie time and this was our soundtrack. I haven't found yet a full remote job, I hope 2022 will bring good news. Stay safe everyone.

Wether it’s and actual book, or an audio book, or a book on wattpad i always look for fantsay books. This gives me that feeling. I’ve always dreamed of living in a world full of faries, witches, dragons, wizards, unicorns, magic, and just a fantasy world alone. The thought if being a knight in shining armor, riding some mystical creature always has always been an interest for me. The thought of seeing faries evweywhere you go, the thought of you having magic yourself is something i have and will always love.

  • To anyone writing or creating things whether that be a Fantasy, Romance, Action, or more don't give up. Don't stop trying yes some may have a slower start than others but take the time and think about yourself if it makes you happy then keep doing it, sometimes peoples opinions can be the chains that bind people to overthink whilst they fear no one noticing their great work sets in then end up thinking "What if..". Just know there will always be people out there who will love and cherish your great work, yes it may be hard and yes it may break you but strive knowing that you are a great artist you are a great creator and you will always be in control of what you do so don't give up on things dear to you write, draw, create and never stop no matter how hard the block may be! Yes, I know my words may not hold much but just know people will always and I mean always come forth no matter how long the wait your creation is scintillating to the world around!
