The Dagestan Chronicles presented by Will Harris Productions
I am back with another episode after shaking off this jet lag from being n Russia for days. Here is episode 7 of the Dagestan Chronicles (The Celebration of Eid al-Fitr)
As you all know, back at UFC 223, UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov invited me to Dagestan, Russia.
Me being the trooper I am, took him up on his offer and came abroad to witness and learn more about the people of Dagestan.

  • I used to be against Muslim for no reason.. all because of everyone around me I felt that way. Khabib showed me why Muslims are so honest and humble good people, thanks Khabib :)

  • Khabibs entire life seems like a throwback to an almost gone generation of values. The life our ancestors used to live. A very simple uncomplicated and disciplined life.

  • Notice how no one was surprised to see Khabib. That means he is in those villages and with his family all the time. This is his life.

  • In America we don't even know our neighbors. There is no community here that's why most of us are unhappy..................chasing wealth and possessions. It's a damn shame. All of us should strive to be like Khabib ! even though he is one of the most famous fighters.......he still is nice to his elders, his peers and most importantly the children.......god bless him. Just a real human here nothing more .

  • It’s hard to disagree that it’s their Islamic views that help them be who they are. What wonderful, content people.

  • You only need to watch this video to understand why Khabib lost his shit. Such connections are very, very rare in the West. Too much engrossed in materialism. But these are simple people with simple lives. To them, family, friends, culture, religion is everything.
