The blue fire isn't an inconsistency! It's a chemical reaction only happening on soulsand or soulsoil. Like copperdust turns a flame green in irl, soulblocks turns it blue in Minecraft. The player burns red because no reaction is happening
Wow, I really never realized that, it's a very fun fact
Came here to say this. If you were to light a stove (in real life), the fire will be blueish. But if you use that stove to set a piece of coal on fire, that coal will burn with orange fire, even if it was lit by blue fire.
I’m pretty sure it’s supposed to be blue because the soulsand somehow makes it hotter, I feel this is the case because blue fire does more damage.
The fire is blue because its "Soul" fire
WOAH! That is amazing! We need that!
instead of crafting bushier flowers they could just act like sea pickles. You can place up to 4 in the same block.
but then they wouldnt work for flower pots. 😢
@@AriinPHDyou could do the same thing with them. Maybe both the potted and block varients would be able to have multiple flowers then too?
Love that idea
yeah! pink petals also do the same up to i think 5 pieces per block which makes them great for decoration because of how much variety it adds.
I'm correctly working on setting up a Vanilla+ modpack for my coworker on Fabric, so I found this quite timely actually. Very nice mod selection - there were some new ones in there for me.
Are there any other mods you've found that you would recommend?
I've made a pretty big list containing alot of vanilla mods that I think fit the game, nothing extreme tho. so if ur interested I'd like to send it :)
@@CrystalClear51 I'd love to see that list!

Mojang, pls have a look at this vid
and he colour of fire is determined by material and temperature, a person wouldn’t burn any other color than orange.
Weird how snow layers falling and generating from during rain is already a vanilla feature on Bedrock.
Yeah... and I absolutely hate that feature.... it's really annoying to build a structure in a cold biome and constantly have to shovel snow if you want your build to stay visible and your animals to stay in their pens. If the sun was at least allowed to melt layers of snow off over time, then maybe I wouldn't hate it so much. I really did try to give Bedrock a chance, but I'm definitely a Java player through and through, partially because of this feature alone.
try to use a string, you can place it even in the air, it will stop snow from spawning underneath
@@Bread_with_jam ....that's a lot of string to place. I'll just stay on Java where I can get the pretty snowy landscape and skip the mad string placing.
@@IthennaLol you'd hate living anywhere that snows in real life then.
@@cksupreme I do live where it snows. That's exactly why I don't want to shovel it in the game too!
For those who want an even more difficult final boss, Savage Ender Dragon is compatible with the Ender Trigon mod, so you could have the best of both - basically, a three-headed Dragon that can drill into blocks, grab players and drop them from the air, breathe purple fire on top of Fireballs, and summon baby Dragons, Blazes, Endermen, Phantoms, and lightning bolts. It's amusingly ridiculous.
Haven’t tried that mod, I’ll have to check it out!
ye and it offers lots of config so u can make the dragon even more op if u have other mods with them like deeper and darker or cataclysm and enchant mods
One mod that I'll recommend is the Enchancements mod, which completely overhauls the enchanting system to make it way more fun, basically removes boring stat based enchantments and adds fun ones, like Gale, which allows you to double jump, or Extracting, which is FTB Ultimine but it leaves the stone behind after mining. The mod is super configurable and you can even add back all vanilla enchants. Over all the mod is a bit less vanilla then some mods mentioned here, but it's worth checking out.
ohh this one sounds very fun! great tip!
This is a surprisingly well put together list, usually whenever someone (including myself) tries to put together a modpack of vanilla+ features, things tend to go a bit overboard, but honestly aside from maybe Nullscape and Savage Ender Dragon this is a soild list, and the great part about mods is that you can pick and choose what you do and don’t want!
it always bothers me when people get mods that make soul fire make you burn blue.. because you aren’t made of soul sand so why tf would you burn blue once you get set on fire it only makes sense that you burn orange
What I like about the nullscape is that the biomes it adds feel barren the way end should be while still adding variation. Unlike the trees and weird mobs you find in other mods
Ikr that's why I don't use BetterEnd
@@unknownplayer10kThat's exactly why I love betterEnd, it adds crazy environments, that don't fit the vanilla end at all, but they fit the concept of "the end" imo, like a place where everything end up sooner or later, many wild things can be found there. I hope the betternether and betterEnd teams make a overworld mod
Right? If I'm looking for a BETTER end, I don't know about other people, to each their own, but I want the End, but better. Not another version of the overworld, or the Aether, or the Everbright, or a Lovecraftian horror. Just give me some of the assets so easily at the disposal of the game used in interesting ways.
@@steinkoloss7320 I feel kinda opposite, better end feels more like "the new beginning" than "the end" because of all new life forms, plants etc basically making the end feel more alive and making it another copy of overworld except with glowing effects. While the real end is an ending to the game by adding a world this empty which fits its name "The End".
That snow one is crazy cool, would love something like that in vanilla one day
It is in vanilla! Vanilla bedrock :/
I love this! This is exactly what I see as a perfect vanilla plus mod, unlike almost anything else I've seen.
You deserve way more subs! I clicked on this video and the presentation quality and ending was better than some channels with 100k or more! Keep up the good work, you’ve earned a new sub!
Thank you for the video! I've been working on a exploration and magic modpack which will greatly benefit from the mods that you showcased!
This is outstanding, thank you! Great editing too 📹
Thank you!!!
You came in clutch with this video! Great work and thank you for the sauce! Most of these are exactly what I was looking for. Subbed and Liked. Looking forward to more videos!
Love the inventory mod so useful!
Definitely using all of these for the next season of my server, thanks man!
the mods for the end really show that they need to work on the end. its cool for about the first time you play it, but it gets old fast. having the nether update treatment for the end would be really nice and something like the ender dragon mod to change the fight to be an actual like.. bossfight :p
The end is supposed to be... the end, a barren wasteland at the end of the game. It doesn't need an overhaul like the nether. It DOES need something, literally anything, that isn't chorus fruit, endstone, and endermen. That is very boring, even if it's the point
i know 200+ mods that im adding to my minecraft world, which they all vanilla - and you just gave me the most in one video. Congrats
Would you mind sharing the mod list? Im having trouble finding vanillaish mods Edit: Well, apart from those on this video, of course
I need to say , that from every mod video I watched , this is the best one ! Please make more videos !
Very useful mods that keep the game Vanilla while improving existing features
I absolutely love all of these! I also like the mod that makes tourch flowers actually glow to be useful. Its such a shame Mojang didnt do anything interesting with any of the ancient flowers :/
the inventorio mod absolutely blew me away and i am instantly adding this to my world! thanks!
I was thinking of adding some mods to my server, but didn't wanna stray away from too vanilla, these look quite cool
I especially love client side mods, being able to make the game how i want it to look without worrying bout server stuff us great
Great video! I got here from Laynce Coldcraft videos, just subscribed :) Edit: And congrats on 1k!
excellent mods excellent video, I especially love Inventorio
thank u for this video❤ im gonna get some of these and try them out
underrated and concise presentation, subbed
wow i love your channel, you deserve way more subscribers!
Thank you Jelly!
Holy heck! To the point and very well-made video! you've earned a subscriber! good job!
I'm setting up a modpack and have been looking for a video just like this, except I already have most of these installed except the flower mods lol.
That was a very nice video! Congrats on 1k!
Thank you!
You are so close to 1k, so congrats in advance! Great video btw
Thank you!!!
this vid is actualy good im subbing keep up the good work and remember me when you get big
this was really helpful! Thank you!, SUBBEED
Here before this video reallyyyyy blows up. Definitely gonna be downloading these, thanks man
One of the best mod videos I've seen, hope it blows up
the soul fire mod actually kinda goes against real life. you know how stoves have blue fire because they are really hot. if you light something on fire with that, do you think it would still be blue fire? i dont think so, but ive also yet to burn anything in blue fire 🎉
Yeah but soul fire is not blue because its hotter, its blue because of the souls from soulsand and soulsoil, its the exact same blue as them and can only appear on the soul blocks. Also unrestricted fire like on those blocks does not burn a full blue, if you remove a stove's diffuser you will see it start blue and then go orange at the tip, something soulfire doesn't do. Not to mention soul fire doesn't burn wood iirc, which wouldn't be true for plain hotter fire, and scares piglins, which normal fire also doesn't do.
@@Epsicronics I'm not sure about it not being hotter. Soul fire does more damage than its regular counterpart.
@@Ithenna The make-up of the soul soil likely burns hotter than we do, allowing it to do more damage and be blue.
Great mod choices! And you’re not horribly annoying like a lot of other channels! Kudos!
You deserve a lot more attention. Subbed
Wow, Great Video Love it Thank you (:
Earned my sub
Better end & nullscape goes extremely well together, if only one of the mods was for 1.19.2 forge
Those inventory mods are great.
love you vids and mods m8 - keep it up!
Thank you!! Will do
@@craisinlord how are the integrated villages coming along?
@@OtherMongrel it takes a LONG time to make a village, the pirate one will be out within the next few weeks!
@@craisinlord bro I love your work, THANK YOU
I never found love but thanks to you, man, I found the Bundle Jumble mod.
This is cool !
okay, some of them seem to be fun. some unnecessary and some would ruin the vanilla feeling. good video. like it.
There a few you missed but hey, you set a limit to 15 mods & showed off really good ones so 👍 good job chief
What else would you recommend?
nice work my man!!!
I like most mods in the vid Also more video for your structure mod Pls
I think so improve fire overlay would be dumb because when you light methane gas on fire it gives a blue color like soul soil but if you use that fire to light a paper the paper will burn like normal not in blue fire so i think mojang did a right job and this mod is not needed But if it does appeal your eyes i think its a win win
yeah the color of fire is always based on what specific elements are undergoing the chemical reaction (fire is a chemical reaction, not a lot of people know that detail) and if you follow the "exp = soul energy" fan theory, it makes even more sense that the fire would change color on transferringto the player, because the soul sand/soil burning is burning "soul endergy" and when that fire transfers to the player, it's burning the materials you are made of.
i love nullscape sm. i also use a nether mod of the same style but i forgot the name of it
i think the visual section is very good the cycle enchants is fire
These are a really good selection of mods and none of them scream op or underpowered and none of them feel ridiculously unvanilla Great video you gained a sub
Except for the ones that trying to make this riddiculously easy game even more easy. Boooooooring.
@@danieljakistam9409 None of these make the game easy?
@@gooseosessooe2x end chest/inventory size does. It is already op with shulkerboxes for basic players. Would be better if they were nerfed.
Mods that really understand community made by a community
Great video! What shaders do you use?
If you like the look of Nullscape, Incendium is worth checking out too. It's by the same developers and is basically their take on the Nether dimension - it departs further from vanilla, adding new biomes, structures, weapons and even a boss I think.
mhm plasma piglin
The tolerance zone
I wish I could get the chain one as a plugin for my server lol. I'm running a paper server on a 3rd party host, so my options are limited
inventorio is a mod that should be used like JEI. it deserves to be in every modpack
Congratulations on reaching 1k subscribers!
Thank you!!
Just subbed. At this rate you'll get to 10,000 within the month.
Makes you wonder what the hell they're doing over at Mojang - All of these mods make complete sense!
Man your really cool nice video these are going on my SMP Thanks alot I AM SUBBING!
As a person of science I have to inform u that the colour of fire is determined by the colour of the glowing soot thus making the soulfire enflaming u with red fire not an inconsistency. Copper for example burns blue but if a copper fire where to ignite wood it would still burn yellow.
Fires burn different colors based on the fuel type that is burning, and the chemical reaction that is happening in the flame. this is why gas fires are blue, and salt fires may be green, and people do in fact burn yellow like wood fires do.
Are these mods yours? If yes, how did you make these mods? I would love to learn mod making
Thank god, finally someone who knows what a proper vanilla+ mod is. Everyone else just puts mods that add a single item or something lame and adds nothing to the game Btw great editing and video it's really great
6:08, pls what make the leaves on the leaf block, a mod or a resource pack ? can i have it pls ?
Block swapper looked cool
2:08 Hmmm I wonder if you could set toolbelt slots to hotkeys, I put in a lot of practice into using hotbar keys for tools and I very much enjoy how quickly I can switch tools now and I wouldn't want a mod to do it for me lol
first time i see a video fixing mc that actually does what it says it does
YOU HAD ME AT JUST THE FIRST TWO! 🏃💨
pre 1k ganggggggggg wicked video keep up the good work
Will do 🫡
its the smallest things that matter the most, I think the problem with mojang is there thinking of big things and things that have already been kinda done already, we need these small features, it adds character and creativity, it makes the game feel more immersive and fun
Exactly, such as how you can customise your armor. It's small, but it adds flavour. We need small bugs ingame, like those fireflies
Then if they add smaller things, they'll hear "this was such a lazy update, barely anything changed". Just the curse of being a dev. No matter what you do, someone will feel you arent doing what you should be doing.
Great vid!
Amazing video! Mojang take notes!
Nice video and mods
"these are mods that improve features, not add new ones" and then nullscape XD its good mod tho and good video
I mean it just improves the end terrain which is already a feature 🤷 Thanks though!
Scar gotta see the bushier flowers mod!
what shader pack is that?
no padding, no time wasted, very good video :)
Thank you😊❤... Yesterday I was actually thinking of Improving Minecraft's 4 Disciplines: Combat, Building, Redstone and Exploration. The Nullscape is good for Exploration. The Inventory Update (forgot the name sorry😢) is good for Combat & Building. And Redstone 😅 uhm... I dunno... But your efforts to bring those Mods to light/to public is very much appreciated❤😊
I NEEDED THESE SO MUCH my worlds get boring so fast!
Bundle Jumble...lol. Such a fun name to say.😅
The chains are my favorite quality of life mod I mainly use it for drawbridges
This channel seems to be really underrated.
Wait, does snow not pile up in a snowstorm in Java edition? and does it not get affected by gravity as well????
There's also a texture pack that retextures stuff like mushrooms and Berry bushes and makes them 3d
I freaked when you showed Deep Pockets. That could be added as a super rare book in the new Archeology sites, the big ones that are meant to be unearthed.
That would’ve be perfect for it!
Dude you are insanely smart. I agree with every single thing you said in this video. I am in pure shock someone is so accurate.
Love it!
what shader is that?
I've personally used Easy Anvils and Magic and they are incredible quality of life mods
WOW you gained over 1k subs in 4 DAYS!!!!! What a legend
Jumble bundle is insane
I wish some of these mods are going to be updated very soon to 1.20.4 like Connectable Chains, Text Utilities and Snow! Real Magic!!
I like the idea of adding more fun attack patterns of the Ender Dragon without making the fight annoying like anti-cheese methods or insta-kill attacks.
