BDSP is basically an HD remake aimed primarily at new fans that never got to play the original DP, and that's nice. I hope everyone that buys that game enjoys it. As for PLA, I am HYPED. I nearly cry every time I see the trailer. I am so, so, so excited for this!!!

@@CookieTaiga what a pathetic excuse. On the 3ds they always looked alright never terrible. But arceus amd sword and shield in some parts look terrible. Especially arceus. The wide shots look empty as hell with nothing in it nothing. Also the textures look awful and unfinished lol

@@xavieroliveira8653 I just hope that it wasn't a throwaway line and that it was actually remembered. It definitely looks like it used to be a dragon, so maybe pure dragon? But a second type of normal, flying, rock or even water could work. I'm just excited to see if they end up doing it after all, since it would be such a cool mon once it gets useable stats

Pokémon Legends Arceus is just something that I’m so, so hyped up for. I even pre-ordered it for whenever it releases! With how close it is to being released by this point (10+ weeks/2 Months from now) I’m very excited to soon being able to play it. With how it is, being open world and such, that is truly something many fans have wanted for so long - me included lol.
Gen 4 remakes and Legends might finally convince me to finally get a switch.

I do hope legends of arceus sets a good precedent and lets us get a prequel to XY that takes place during the war with AZ.

i don't remember where i heard this so idk if it's true but i heard the hype for megas in bdsp mainly came from a mega evolution figurine promotion the pokemon company did for bdsp, but even i knew that was wishful thinking considering it's a faithful remake. they did add a few new things but that was purely because we love the features lol

Excited about the remakes as I never played the originals (not fan of Chibi tho) For Legends, that's the one I'm most hyped for, I like the concept, just not sure about how the quest might work and the Mons movement/reaction, but still, a new type of game, even tho I love Pokémon, it needed some sort of revamp
I agree with you. there are plenty of problems with how pokemon currently works. especially the accuracy and evasion mechanics. it's always been broken and not in a good way.
@Blackie uh other than a passing moment no one is complaining in this comment threads. besides they were chibi due to device limitations, not necessarily design choice and they weren't really chibis, just tiny overworld sprites. there's kind of a difference between them honestly.

The “Brilliant Diamond” and “Shining Pearl” remakes are ones I’m finding interesting, but “Pokémon Legends Arceus” is the main game I’m very excited about! For so long I wanted a game like that and it shows that the creators of Pokémon games can indeed make stuff like this which is just amazing!

Well based on the previous gens it can take anywhere between 4-7 years for each remake so 20 years is actually a good estimate from off the top of your head for the gen 8 remakes.

I'm pretty sure there are more Hisuian regional forms and evolutions beyond Basculegion, Wyrdeer, Growlithe and Braviary. They can't show everything, after all. You're supposed to find them all yourself, when the game comes out! This is just a teaser! So it is very possible that Dunsparce will receive an evolution itself, as well as more Pokémon that didn't previously have any evolutions, as well as more Hisuian forms. TBH, I think it would have been dope if Dunsparce evolved into Drampa, since they're both Normal types, have white fluffy wing things and are snake-like reptiles, as well as looking kinda dopey. But alas. It's kind of like how Luvdisc doesn't evolve into Alomomola, despite the two being very similar in design and have similar personalities as well - bringing love to people, and caring for injured beings. I'm just wondering if, when at some point Gen 9 comes out, if we will be able to acquire these Hisuian forms and evolutions, as they appear to be ancient and probably (near) extinct. I am very much looking forward to this winter, in any case!

I’m honestly hyped since they for BDSP have Ball Caps still, the Undergound is back with a cool update, and they made contests look like a lot of fun. And legends Arceus looks amazing and I love how they gave Stantler and Basculin evos and Braviary’s new form is sick. I’m a big Gen 5 fan so I was not expecting to see any Unova Pokémon in this, let alone new forms/evos for them! I feel the Legends starters are almost garunteed to have new final forms, anyone else agree?
Pokemon Cafe Mix Masters would be a better title. I had mixed feelings about Diamond and Pearl. I never had a DS so never played the originals. But after this I really think I might get one of the remakes. I am definitely getting Legends Arceus.

I cant exactly agree with that take that we cant expect new things from remakes John. HGSS changed Johto a fair bit both in map and in game design, ORAS gave us Mega Evolutions as part of its remake along with a bunch of QoL changes, and BDSP has already shown that were getting the Platinum Dex as well as new areas in the Underground. I dont think its unfair to hope for Megas returning.
