Using rocks and logs in place of a jack (5:23): I foresee a couple problems. 1) STABILITY - Having your axle suspended on a stack of loose items while you are trying to get the lug nuts and flat tire off seems pretty risky. 2) ELEVATION - If you manage to get the flat tire off without knocking the axle off your stack, the inflated spare will require more axle height to get on than the flat did to get off.

You can’t just spray the soapy water on and expect it to clean it. The reason you stick it on a sponge thing is so that you can actually scrub and get off dirt and grime.

Replacing that door handle isn't a tip or a hack, it's literally the ONLY way to replace the exterior door handle for that vehicle, and many like it. Keyless entry vehicles having a removable cover for the keyhole in the door isn't a hack either. A tip or hack wouldn't be information in your owners manual. It's mandated to be there. It's not for a dead keyfob either, it's for the car's battery being dead. A hack would be if I told you quite alot of cars will roll the window down with the key in the door, held in the unlock position.

There were a couple of neat tricks in here, but Holy crap on a stick were there some stupid ones as well. That "Snow tire" you made by drilling nails/screws into it... Congratulations, you just spent $400 on making a flat tire. That "roof rack" you made out of PVC, pool floaties, and bungie cord? Sure it might last... Until you start driving down the road. Ain't no bungie cords holding THAT down. That guy that propped up his car with rocks to change his tire? Guarantee you that they jacked the car up off camera. The only good those rocks will do is if you stick 'em in before the tire goes entirely flat or before you remove the flat tire. It will keep the hub off the ground and keep it from getting damaged. A better solution to not having a car jack is to buy one. Short of that, keep a good shovel in there. That way you can dig a hole around your tire to get it off, then dig a deeper one to fit the spare that has more air in it. Also, congrats on that one guy realizing his sunroof was open mid suds spray and closing it off camera before the next shot. The "fluids down the stick" thing is a nice trick, but it's even nicer to just cut a bottle and improvise an actual funnel. Burying a tire as a winch anchor?... I will legit remember this trick. Getting stuck in the woods with no help is as bitch. I may not have a winch, but I have some nice 6 inch straps and a rachet that would work nicely as improvisation. Just gotta find a nice log or fence post to bury. Its a lot of digging, but it beats waiting 3 or 4 hours to inconvenience your buddy to help your own dumbass out of your screwup.

Applying the water and soap is the easy bit. Drying the car properly makes the difference and takes the time. In this case you will need to spend another 30 minutes drying the seats🙄
