Then Bam MMA ground and pound, knee down onto there abdomin and go Rampage Jackson ground and pound style. I'm only beginer BJJ and wrestling so this is extremely helpful for me, though I'm very comfortable with striking this technique could definitely save your life!🥋👊 Thanks you I will use for self defense only and definitely in the cage when I have my first cage fight when Ready.

  • If you are going to get that close in a fight, I don’t care how big they are, osoto gari is a better way to go. I have no formal training. I grew up in a shitty neighborhood. my best friend was shot in the back and killed in front of my house in 1989,he was 14 years old. It’s an easy way out of a fight, worked for me every time, regardless of opponents size. The first time I used it was by accident, I was 12 and the dude was at least twice my age. It became my go to move because sometimes I couldn’t punch, my hands would be broken from fighting the day before or earlier in the week. When done correcty your opponent lands on the back of their neck, on pavement ,it can knock them out. I actually just found out the moves name, I didn’t know it had a name, it’s osoto gari. There are several videos on you tube that show how it’s done, one of the best videos is in slow motion and is less than a minute and a half long.

    • Absolutely works in fights. Putting them on one leg forces them to use their arms to balance then finish quickly so there’s little, if any, time for them to strike. You need to practice with high repetitions for a few weeks/months before expecting to use this move reliably. Good question.

The minute you go beneath me and expose your head I would gouge one of your eyes out or hammer fist the back of your head and you’ll be enjoying your crayons in coloring books for the rest of your life. • I have a big problem with the single leg against much taller and slimmer oponents. My torso is very short so when I grab the back of their knee my head ia hovering in space. I cannot use it to push back their body and drop them eo I end up burning out my arms and letting go
