Perhaps its because I did Muy Thai and my coach regularly yelled at everyone about this (rightfully so) but you literally have to dodge every punch if your hands are down vs if they are high you also have the option to block without moving too much.

  • Wow, One just fed Sage to the wolves. Sage has less room to maneuver in a ring, so Cosmo simply walked him down and cut off his movement. Sage relies on footwork to get out of trouble, so when Cosmo trapped him against the ropes, he didn't know what to do and tried to throw the ol' 1-2. Unfortunately for him, Cosmo was waiting to throw his right hand, which landed before Sage could get his second punch off. Sage has no boxing defense, and it showed in this fight. Don't know what his father/manager was thinking accepting this fight. It's like having a college football team play vs the NFL. There's levels to this, and Cosmo's striking is too dangerous for someone as green as Sage.
