Minecraft Nostalgia is Unmatched

Minecraft was made very nostalgic whether it was intentional or not, it has been ingrained in our minds and raised us as we were children. to the good old minecraft videos of 2011 - 2016.
I have compiled a lot of videos as a tribute to all these amazing og minecraft youtubers such as DanTDM, stampylonghead, PopularMMOS, SSundee, Crainer, Bajan Canadian, CaptainSparklez, SkyDoesMinecraft, etc. Along with old footage from the game, enjoy!
Minecraft music has been known to be intensely nostalgic for quite some time, instilling nostalgia into those who listen. The minecraft soundtracks are just so well crafted by C418, and it really is incredible how he has done so. So why is minecraft's music so perfect and nostalgic?

  • thank yuo minecraft There were other classic maps, mods, music videos, series, and other stuff I couldn't show bc not everything could fit in 5 minutes so I probably only used 40% of the clips you see, so you might not see everything here from your childhood but I'm glad that you remembered those good days from watching this video :)

    • @@itskriptic3007choom, I'm 20 and every word in that rings as true as saying the sun will come up tomorrow. I remember being in 3rd and 4th grade, daydreaming of my next projects in Minecraft after school that day, religiously watching Stampy, DanTDM, and Ssundee on occasion, or rewatching Disney's Bolt again. In short, I agree, I miss those days dearly and there will never be legends like these maybe ever again, but they will be the ones who can truthfully say that they raised a generation of creative and imaginative children almost singlehandedly. It hurts to see it begin to fade away... But at least those memories are forever and cherished like treasure. Hey, maybe one day one of the millions who watched the greats will raise a new generation of children like these absolute legends did...

There’s no longer any simplicity to it anymore, the simple playing, that no one was better than the other person, the fun we had playing. We just played together in peace. Not just that, but I think the memories we made with the people we once held so closely is the thing we miss the most.

  • Back in 2014, life was all about Minecraft, watching DanTDM and Stampy, and running wild with friends till the streetlights flickered on. We'd scrape our knees, build forts, and laugh until our sides hurt. But fast forward to now, and high school feels like a whole different universe. Sleep? What's that? It's like we're in a constant battle with our beds, trying to squeeze in a few hours between late-night study sessions and early morning alarms. And don't even get me started on the mental breakdowns - they're like unwelcome guests that just won't leave. Sometimes, in the midst of the chaos, I catch myself daydreaming about those simpler times. Back when the only monsters to worry about were in Minecraft, and the biggest decision was which game to play next. Those were the days when scraped knees were a badge of honor, not a nuisance. But hey, even though high school feels like a never-ending rollercoaster, there's still a glimmer of hope. Memories of those carefree days keep me going, reminding me that I've faced challenges before and come out stronger. So, I guess I'll just keep pushing through, navigating this crazy ride called high school, and holding onto the hope that somewhere along the way, I'll find a little piece of the kid I used to be.

The golden days of Minecraft, and youtube I believe have come and gone. This was nostalgic. I wish it wasn't but seeing this compilation, brought back a ton of memories!!! Kinda wish I could go back. • its not the same game anymore cause back then it was barebones and basic across all platforms limited and basic yet still fun. now things that are added and updated dont feel like they always fit in cause they feel like they re modded and out of place or too advanced for the game its self straying away from what it used to be. the goal used to be focused killing the ender dragon getting that end goal on survival or just building stuff in creative. now its not clear. people build and loot and only ever kill the ender dragon for the ease of access for the elytra. people only kill the wither to make beacons which feels pointless to even fight. u kill the warden for very specific items that isnt really progressive more just an add on feature.

Pat and Jen being the strange duo of what I wanted to be with someone I cared for. All of them being the future I hoped to have just because it was fun. Now seeing the years go by and what all we have truly lost. Its good knowing there is a community still out here that recalls when Minecraft youtubers weren't just for one set of people. It was for anyone. As the years go by, I hope to all that grew up with them have a great life.

  • "For what it's worth, I'm glad to have shared these adventures with you" this quote fits because I know for a fact that those who grew up on either a few or most of these youtubers will relate to it. watching their videos brought drive to create, to build, and to love just playing a game that holds so many childhoods within it's passed. We may have grown up, but it'll always be good to remember those days.
