"Minecraft is a kids ga-" *gets slapped*
"I'm a father of two, I'm spectacular at filling holes" such a great line 😭
That line actually killed me omg. Worst part is that a mayority of the audience wont get it since they're children. Sneaky joke, I like it.
@@nebulaayt Why do you think Luke's audience is mostly children? I highly doubt it.. Kids like exciting drama and action.. I bet most of us are adults who like the serenity and storytelling..

There's something kinda nice about the simplicity of old versions of minecraft. Notably nostalgic.
I still have an xbox 360, so I still play the unupdated 360 edition. That simplicity is really nice, especially now when Im starting to lose track of whats in the game nowadays. Sure the graphics are dated, and yeah theres some bugs and drawbacks, but its still my favorite version.

Nothing in this video will be more nostalgic than seeing the autosave count down. Vividly remember SPRINTING to get stuff done before the autosave happened
When you realize a decade has passed since you started playing minecraft. I still remember playing the Xbox 360 Version, and one time when I played on this premade map with a castle, I prefered to live in a wood planks skycraper in the starting area, while my two dogs could live in the castle. Good ol' times.
I remember the time I fell asleep playing this in my brothers room, I had earbuds in and the music just soothed me so much that even now, on phone and on PC I still don’t play with the music on too often just in case I fall asleep and don’t pause the game like I did all those years ago.
yeah i still have a 360 still in my room but old and decayed
The TU11 tutorial world? I love that map.
Only a decade?.. For me it was like 14 years ago D:
I remember that castle used to have me n some mates shoot a barley working tent cannon off it and be amazed because we didn't know how it worked really

It's crazy to imagine just how many worlds are abandoned out there. Worlds of people who got married and forgot, worlds of people who have since passed on, a childs first world, first house, first torch, first bit of cobblestone mined. It's mad for me to think about just how many forgotten memories are out there.
You made my slightly sad about it
Yeah but we have to move on man, this is just how life goes.
Some memories stay forgotten, and if thats how it goes, then let it go.
I even remember the time i first takes a wolf by accident. Best thing i ever did in minecraft... i miss my wolf.
Dude I still remember my diamond block house that me and a really old friend built after we found out about the chest (or was it furnace) duplication glitch lol.. that was my first world.. and my MANSION was HUGE!!!! I've literally tried within the past year or two to fire up the old 360 and try and get that world back.. I'd build a full sized replica world if I could find it!! Man those days were simple! When all we had to worry about was mom yelling at us for being up to late and the rrod lol....

Y'know, while most of my minecraft was clocked in on PC, one thing that I kinda admire about the old console versions is the limited world size. There are obviously pros and cons and I know why the world size is limited on consoles, but to me it made each world more... meaningful. Like, exploring the whole world felt like a bigger accomplishment, and made every spot you decided to build on feel more significant since there were finite spaces to build. The limited world size forced you not to take anything for granted, and be creative with the limited space you had. It also felt very cozy, you were never too far away from any of your friends but you also didn't feel too cramped in with them.
Tl;dr
Yeah, I love the fact that on my best survival 360 world me and the boys had the entire map covered with builds and the whole nether, the whole end and underground builds in all dimensions, only stopped cause we ran out of room (could’ve built in the sky but didn’t wanna screw up the skyline) we still to this day occasionally visit that world and our Xbox one world cause it just feels right, I do have to be honest though; filling out the biggest map possible in new Minecraft feels more of an accomplishment for me
@BluePenguin2730 Oh I gotta see that. You got videos of it?

I play minecraft on the Xbox one now and although there's technically more to do, I really miss the 360 version. I think how limited it was made it more enjoyable. I didn't feel overwhelmed by the scale and variety modern minecraft has. I know a lot of this feeling is probably nostalgia, but I definitely have so much more appreciation for this older version of the game now that I've played the newer version. Also, I desperately wish all the old tutorial worlds would be available again on the current console editions. So much love went into creating those and so much joy was had playing in them.
25:32 after that, I think we can all agree we need an AFK 200 Days

I remember playing this one huge world with my brother on co-op. Me and him had so much fun. Me and my cousins and brothers also played a ton as well. So much fun, many laughs, yells, smiles and everything else. I miss it but sometimes life has to move on. You can't stay in the same place forever.
Me and my sister did that a lot. Playing co-op and goofing around.
Apart from Pocket Edition, my first time on _Minecraft_ began on Christmas of 2013. We had just received an Xbox 360. For some reason I had insisted on that one specifically not knowing that the Xbox One was the newer console (I was a young boy then), but they didn’t matter because my friends also had 360s, and those who appeared to have Ones worked just the same. I always played either in Creative Mode or Peaceful on Survival (a chance encounter with a zombie and spider on the iPad scared me out of any higher difficulty for another almost two years). This meant my sister and I never got around to properly defeating the Ender Dragon, though we did many times in Creative, then just placed dragon eggs all around our bedrock hovel on whatever Superflat world we were playing on. She never had to deal with a “dead-battery” controller; hers (which glowed green) was wired to the console. Because I always booted up the console with the wireless controller, there was a delay with connecting the wired controller, and my immature mind having a doubled sense of superiority coming from being an older _brother_ I was content to let my sister have the green controller, as she would always be Player 2 that way. I can see how Luke’s idea of axis highways could come about naturally from playing an Xbox 360 world; I had the habit of constructing underground or sea-level Minecart rail systems in a grid, on one hundred block intervals for each line, even if the placement of stations conflicted with my sister’s constructions (which, needless to say, conflicts between us often caused the early ruin of many worlds we shared, and we had many superflats where a fence would be placed down the middle and each of us took a side). All our old worlds were lost when our first Xbox stopped being able to read discs, so we got another Xbox 360 console around 2018, which meant we now had a third controller, though our moderately-sized television screen meant it was often awkward and difficult to three players to play split-screen, and we never could teach our mother how to use the complex 21st-century game controllers. We don’t play on it now; the screen often glitches, and we usually play on an Xbox One or Nintendo Switch now together. This gameplay brought back many memories of those times, even if it was kept to a title update prior to when we got ours, and I forgot how much I missed the old cow death sounds.
The tutorial pop ups and crafting menu brought back some cherished memories

I genuinely appreciate it, if you do ever want to do a 200 days you can just ask me any questions I've been playing it for many years, (for example if before you cure a zombie villager you save the game you can actually reset it's trades because they are chosen when the villager is cured not when they are spawned in.) I know a lot of small things like this. I love you. If you see this please respond something, like idk even potatoes would work good. ❤

I think the main series is still the best. But off the off shoots ... well no, Tors is best of the off shoots. ... Of the one shots, this one turned out the best. Something satisfying about knowing the whole world.
This is so nostalgic for me. It was the version that introduced me to MC.
Brings back memories of simpler and kinder times. Sometimes I’m reminded of how this game evolved from this to what it is now. So many memories, so many adventures, had to make it alive with a limited world. Sure it had its moments, but it was there for our introduction, our growth. How little we knew on just how much would change and expand from our little worlds. For me, I will never forget my first Minecraft experience. To the Xbox-360, you are a real one. o7

things I miss about old days of minecraft (esp for the classic console edition) are the grass sounds. That sound is so much more satisfying than the one they replaced it with. Another thing was there wasn’t too many blocks in the game. Now yeah having new blocks is fun and great. Though to me when that started happening that’s when sort of went down hill for me. It kind got a little too complicated. At least for me.
