I Can't Believe I did ALL this for a New Kitchen /// Dream Home Renovation Ep. 5
The Dream Home Renovation is in full swing with this new kitchen addition build out. We have to pour new foundations and frame a new kitchen before vaulting our ceilings. This is a large kitchen addition and will take everything we have to get it done. But I cant wait to get it done and have breakfast in there for the first time.

This is looking fantastic. Glad you healed well and it's always good to see a channel on KZhead using proper safety on a build.
Thanks bud. Ya I’m back to full craziness lol
So much wish-list improvements! I love that you have put a nice big window in the kitchen facing your backyard. It's gonna look amazing when you're done! Good that you are past your injury...too much work probably. Take care.
Thanks so much! 😊ya that window will be awesome and add so much natural light into that kitchen
Great video; huge undertaking! It was Fun watching this with an inch of snow on the ground. Glad you got it all sealed off before winter!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Your home is amazing! I am Australian I just found your channel I just love it I wana see all before and after pics and vids :) it looks fantastic!
This is looking so good! I am glad you didn’t do serious damage to the arm. I hope you are feeling much better.
I’m back to 💯 and back at it. Thanks so much!!!
Great update on the house man. Thanks for filling us in.
You bet brother ! It’s coming along
I have loved every friggin minute of this!
thanks dude. still waiting on a visit lol
Careful, @gmackmakes knows what happens when there is a “quick project” to do.
Silly chickens!! Glad they didn’t run off too far.
They know who their master is lol
@@KomarProject … you mean HoneyBunny, right. lol😂
@@JBeans7711 exactly!!
So I watched the video and you ‘hurt’ your right arm then left was in a sling then right was in a sling, then you said you had to relearn how to wipe with your left hand. So what happened to what arm. 😂. We might need a doctors note for this one. Watch from the 12:00 - 14:00 minute mark and you’ll find the conspiracy of the century. Well ok maybe of the last 10 seconds. Nice video btw, I am sure this is just part of the video process to back and ‘reshoot’ parts of the process.
That’s the beauty of editing. If you flip the screen it looks completely differant and backwards. Sorry for the confusion
That addition really added some sqft. Tearing off the roof though…. 😬😬 let the pros handle that for sure
or i can ask my BFF to do it lol

The interior electrical wiring is run in conduit? Seems like an unnecessary expense to do that.
The Chicago Electric Code requires steel conduit raceways in all homes to minimize the risk of fires in the Chicago suburbs.
My new window was 3 inches too short. Totally unprofessional company. And yes, I'll be posting the experience online. The company I used needs to go out of business.
Have you thought about talking to them about it?
we had two windows delivered that were too short as well. Installed they would be below our contertop, we did have them replace them. Just took some time to get them remade but most companies will make it right. Hopefully, good luck
That’s super frustrating, especially when trying to manage all the trades and timeline. Did they eventually get you the right window?
I did. Also asked for price to be discounted. If you install windows, customers should expect that u know what u are doing.@@partlycloudy5049
