    • Is this line a sly dig at Father John Misty? He launched his own fragrance called "Innocence" a few years ago and has also made a big deal about turning down offers for adverts in the past. Probably not but something i couldnt help noticing. I wonder to what extent their paths have crossed personally too seeing as they both live in LA. Theyre both great anyway.

    • Hay coro, pero por una vez alex no usa el V o VI grado para hacer el coro, si no usó el VII menor, por eso el coro no les suena a coro. Este album es donde alex mas "exploro" otras formas de componer las partes de una cancion

  • I get the biggest goosebumps at “vehicles will pass by, but I know when it’s you” just singing it in my head makes me feel so much I can tear up, this album is a masterpiece derived from raw emotion.

  • Lyrics: I want an interesting synonym to describe this thing That you say we're all grandfathered in I'll use the search engine (We've got much to discuss) Too much to discuss over a bucket of balls I can recall the glow of your low beams It's the big night in Tinsel City Life became a spectator sport I launch my fragrance called 'Integrity' I sell the fact that I can't be bought Have I told you all about the time that I got sucked into a hole Through a handheld device? I will flashback now and again, but I'm usually alright Thankfully, the process has been simplified Since the last time you tried I've recognised the glow of your low beams numerous times I'll be by the Batphone if you need to get a hold Making a selection, opening credits roll Panoramic windows looking out across your soul You go in through the door Vengeance trilogy wallpaper walls They have re-decorated it all They've changed all the lights and the bar's down the side I've recognised the glow of your low beams numerous times Through fairly opaque blinds in the sitting room Vehicles will pass by, but I know when it's you I'll be in a nose dive in my flying shoes Right behind your closed eyes like a memory from your youth I'll be by the Batphone if you need to get a hold Making a selection, opening credits roll Killer Pink Flamingos, computer controlled Panoramic windows looking out across your soul.

I love this album so damn much, the only bad thing I have to say about it is that it's supposed to be listened whole, I was supposed to sleep hours ago but couldn't because I can't listen to just one song, and then I catch myself listening to the whole thing again and again and again. • I'll disagree. Alex came close to it. Not only on this album but on some of the Shadow Puppets stuff too. The thing is Bowie's lyrical matters dealt with more risque stuff and Turner has only just started to break the mold of what he chooses to write about.

La gente escucha la música no el estilo, y decir la gente es generalizar y no todos quieren escuchar tanto el estilo clásico como el nuevo, así que es de gustos y sencillo, si te gusta lo escuchas y si no... Ya sabes lo siguiente

  • This album is an absolute masterpiece, and in time people will see why. It's one of the finest and most honest music albums i've ever seen, and god it is so, so sad. Just a really depressing piece of beautiful artwork. Batphone is about materialism for those that didn't know. Alex says "i recognise the glow of your lowbeams" referring to the flash on iphones, when at concerts people wave them around. He says they've changed all the wallpaper, lights and the bars down the sides, he's referring to how Apple and other large companies change little, insignificant things about their products and trick people into buying them over and over again, when an iphone from 2009 would do just fine for practicality. That's why it's called Batphone, because in the 1966 Batman series the batphone was a red rotary telephone, a type of telephone that serves no other purpose other than making phone calls, and Alex is basically saying that he misses the simplicity of things, back when people had to actually go and meet each other to give them photographs or letters. It was more connected, social and friendly. Now everyone's closed off.

  • LYRICS I want an interesting synonim To describe this thing That you say we're all grandfathered in I'll use the search engine (We've got much to discuss) Too much to discuss, over a bucket of balls I can recall The glow of your low beams It's the big night in Tinsel City Life became a spectator sport I launch my fragrance called "Integrity" I sell the fact that I can't be bought Have I told you all About the time that I've got sucked into a hole Through a handheld device I would flash back now and again But I'm usually alright Thankfully the process has been simplified Since the last time you tried I've recognized the glow of your low beams Numerous times I'll be by the Batphone If you need to get a hold Makin' a selection Opening credits roll Panoramic windows Lookin' out across your soul [Instrumental] You go in through the door Vengeance trilogy wallpaper walls They have redecorated it all They've changed all the lights and the bar's down the side I've recognized the glow of your low beams Numerous times Through fairly opaque blinds In the sitting room Vehicles will pass by But I'll know when it's you I'll be in a nose dive In my flying shoes Right behind your closed eye Like a memory from your youth I'll be by the Batphone If you need to get a hold Makin' a selection Opening credits roll Killer pink flamingos Computer-controlled Panoramic windows Lookin' out across your soul [Instrumental]

  • I do not think that this song will ever be "swept under the rug". There is a reason why this song sticks out in my mind and I am a music snob (to my own demise of course). The mixing and vibe of this song is so special for something to come out in 2018. I was not an Arctic Monkeys fan until this album and I wish that people could see past the previous body of work and listen to this without the "do I wanna know" and "are you mine' goggles. This song and this album will be considered some of the best music to come out of the 2010's. just like how retro video game people took 20 years to decide on "hidden gems". This will forever be some of the best music I have ever heard until this point. (for me of course your opinion matters. I am 33 at this point)
