Funny because I primarily only love their WPSIATWIN punk rock album, the others like Humbug, SIAS, and AM were too boring to me However I liked Tranquility Base Hotel and Casino. They're discovering and exploring a new style. If they can do it even better on an upcoming album I'd totally still stay.

hmm, I disagree Damon Albarn is an example of experimenting and improving. I used to love AM but actually it seem that they are struggling to find new sounds... Favorite Worst Nightmares was a step to this but after that, their music got repetitive to me. Maybe it's just me I still listen to the band but it's been hard to enjoy all of their material since cornerstone.

And to bring some variety to this thread: I'm loving it. So yes, it is a pretty subjective matter, but you can't come and say the album is thrash or a poorly executed bowie imitation, because that's saying you are incapable of identifying the great sounds that these guys mixed together for this work. You can dislike it, but saying is bad music is just too much.

This song really makes me “take it easy” even if it is only for a little while. I love this song
i used to listen to this album when it came out in the summer of 18, when a close friend just had killed herself. This brings me a strange nostalgia because i used to spend that summer evenings in a park reading books so i wont think of killing myself aswell (that friend and i loved to read books, and every summer we would spend it in the library, in school breaks she was the only one that I saw beside my family). This song makes me feel so well and when it ends it makes me wanna cry, it reminds me of the soft wind and the warm evening lighting and Stephen King book's!!!

I love all of Arctic Monkeys' more rock (grunge/ rock n' roll) albums but this album was sensational and in no way lesser. If everything before AM was pushing boundaries of good rock, then AM was blowing them up and this album just blew past them like a rocket

Es un poco agobiante las personas que entran solamente a comentar que quieren a los "viejos arctic monkeys". Al igual que las personas cambiamos con los años, también lo hace la banda. Es decir, no podés esperar a que suene igual que hace cuatro años atrás. Mejor aprendan a valorar la evolución en todos sus aspectos en vez de tomarse el tiempo solamente para criticar.
Lo malo es que en este album no se escucha mucha diferencia del AM. Sigue siendo el mismo Alex Turnner melódico, con canciones con ritmo lento y coros repetitivos hasta el cansancio (Para mi es como si esa persona no hubiera cambiado con los años), pero claro es mi opinión y esta canción no me desagrada("The Ultracheese" Tambien me agrada) . No te agobies por los que solo critican por criticar :)

The part that starts at 2:11 is just so beautiful. I don't really understand why people hate on this album I actually really like it. When I first heard it I have to admit I didn't really like but when you listen to it multiple times you'll see it's really not that bad.

Reisson Vilares Eu gostei pra caralho, geral falando "Saudades do AM raíz", "Volta 2007", em 2007 Alex era um adolecente, todos os adolecentes passam por uma fase de rebeldia, ele também teve a dele, agora que ele cresceu, suas músicas estão cada vez mais maduras, o novo álbum tem um estilo futurista e elegante exatamente por isso, estamos em 2018
Exato. TBH&C é um trabalho bem mais amadurecido da banda. É triste saber que teve um pessoal realmente dando hate. Sei lá, cada um tem seu gosto, mas é importante reconhecer a qualidade do álbum.

Well then, I guess that really...Cute new places keep on poping up around Clavius. And thats the second time Alex prooves he had some prophet dreams around 2018. "She looks like fun" was the first one. That album trutly is a masterpiece beyond time...

I was quite disappointed when this came out. Now it’s probably my favourite Arctic Monkeys song. I respect the old ones but I am now 30 I can’t be listening to songs like “ I bet you d look good on the dance floor”. I assume it’s the same for them. They don’t feel comfortable playing this style of music anymore, it’s kind of teenagers songs and we should be glad they evolved as artists. This is smth difficult to pull off with success and sometimes can destroy a band ( look at the Smashing pumpkins, my personal favourite band). Another good example of a successful band that can do that is the Strokes. Plus it’s very nice to follow a band and be eager to see how they will evolve and change their style on the next album. one the other hand there are bands like the Tool that I hope they never change.
it's crazy how these songs grow on you. personally, I always loved this song. But I was unintentionally reluctant with the rest of the album. Now, the album has completely grown onto me. Very impressive AM

I respect them hugely. Art is art, you make it, people like it or they don't. They did what they felt like and not what they thought would sell large amounts of records. Its how it should be and a refreshing change. I'm a huge fan of all music and I remember that when Skream went from dubstep to techno he said in an interview "come with me, or fuck off"

Easily the one of the top tracks from the album that easily caught my attention. I think it was the part “ take it easy for alittle while..” *echos* take it easy for alittle while * is what really got me and that is catchy
Another A quality album with great lyrics, songwriting and a very atmospheric sound. I like that they always try something new and they always go to different directions. This album is a bit of a mix of earlier Monkeys sounds (AM and SIAS in particular), TLSP + influences of Bowie or Gaye. It's a concept album which requires to listen to the whole from start to finish, which I really like. That's why I don't bother if they won't release a single from it. I've listened it three times now and it gets better and better with every listen. They are one of the very few bands in the past 10-15 years which make high quality albums every time. Thanks for the music, guys.
