Eruption du volcan du Piton de la Fournaise sur l'ile de la Réunion.
Début d'éruption : 18 février pendant quelques heures seulement puis l'éruption reprend le 19 février 2019.
Secteur : flanc Est au pied du Piton Madoré.

  • I can watch this all day and will not get board. Some time you see the flood of melting ice water through chasm or trenches created by water erosion in arctic . some times you see sand dunes movement with wind some times you see tornadoes. Some times you see huge sea waves. some times you see just dry soil moving down with rubble. The beauty of lightening, water falls flowing hot magma. Oh there is so much to enjoy. can not name. there are so many natural events. all are awesome.

  • This volcano is located above the hot spot of Reunion. The same hot spot caused the formation of Deccan Trapps about 65 million years ago. Then there was the Late Cretaceous and the Gondwana continent was falling apart. A fragment of land moved over the same hot spot, which later formed the modern Deccan peninsula. At that time, the same hot spot ejected huge amounts of basaltic lava from the ground. This caused enormous climate change, which caused 75% of the species' extinction at that time. Including the extinction of dinosaurs. The fall of a giant meteorite on the outskirts of modern Yucatan Peninsula also contributed to the great extinction event. Today, this hot spot has long since calmed down and is blazing quietly under Réunion Island.

Des compositions fantastiques, chacune à une distance focale et un cadrage qui conviennent aux enquêtes en cours (que ce soit en masse, forme, écoulement, échelle, immersion, processus géologique, et, et, et ...). Des rochers se fissurant en deux et flottant sur une rivière de lave? Des globes chauds éclaboussant et gelant sous nos yeux? Whoa! Merci et félicitations pour ces réalisations.
