The guys that film these for us to watch - they are the real islands, mountains and magma in this story. Unfortunately their courage and passion never gets them a Nobel Prize for science. But we recognise them - honour them and thank them. They are the real champions of the world.

I think you'll find that the actual islands, mountains and magma are the real islands, mountains and magma in the story. We have had quite enough worship of 'big men' who 'discovered' a world which in fact is their damn cradle and the very support of their existence. It is a disservice to the people who filmed this, to name them and give them prizes. The best way to be part of something like this is to witness its beauty and greatness in humility and with love, and share it with the world. Accept the gift of sharing gratefully, through NOT making it about the persons who filmed it. Let us just sit and love our world together.

Just imagine, being lucky enough to be there at the right moment to witness hot molten lava spurge through the ocean water surface and solidify into a small infant piece of land, still soft and hot from boiling lava but slowing gaining strength to overcome the rough seas. This would become the foundation for beautiful ecosystems in the million years to come. Its kind of similar to witness a mother giving birth to a newborn babe.

Amazed at this process. I am a big fan of the Hawaiian islands and have been there many times. The islands form in the east like in the area of The Big Island Hawaii and they move to the west around the area of Kauai. As they move to the west they at one point begin to get worn down and basically sink back into the ocean as they move west. Right now a new island is forming southeast of the island of Hawaii and is about 3000 feet below the surface of the ocean it will take about 100,000 years for it to break the ocean surface and about 100 million years to get as big as the island of Hawaii, almost as long as it takes to order food at McDonalds these days.

some interesting facts about volcanoes: 1. Volcanoes are openings in the Earth's surface that allow molten rock, ash, and gas to escape from the Earth's interior. 2. There are around 1,500 active volcanoes in the world, with many more that are dormant or extinct. 3. The largest volcano in the solar system is Olympus Mons on Mars. It is three times taller than Mount Everest and as wide as the entire state of Arizona. 4. Volcanoes can erupt in different ways: Some volcanoes erupt explosively, while others have more fluid lava flows. Some can also produce pyroclastic flows, lahars, and other dangerous phenomena. 5. The Ring of Fire is a region around the Pacific Ocean where many of the world's active volcanoes are located. 6. The word "volcano" comes from the Roman god of fire, Vulcan. 7. Volcanoes can have different shapes: Some have a steep cone shape, while others have a broad shield shape. 8. Volcanoes can impact the climate: Large volcanic eruptions can release huge amounts of ash and gas into the atmosphere, which can block sunlight and cause global cooling. 9. The world's largest eruption in recorded history occurred in 1815 at Mount Tambora in Indonesia, which produced massive amounts of ash and had a global impact on climate. 10. Some volcanoes have become popular tourist attractions: Many people visit volcanoes to see their unique landscapes and to witness their eruptions from a safe distance. However, it's important to remember that volcanoes can be dangerous and unpredictable.

We witnessed birth of a land from scratch, I can only imagine how our land now started, in short, our center of every land is the volcano, erupted for thousand years continuously and formed that high peak volcano. Through time, the water and sun creates life to form micoorganism and plants, then prolly start creating plant worms and so on... This is soooo amazing

Many islands are non-volcanic and are made entirely of "limestone" like geology. Islands like the Bahamian chain of islands come to mind. Our large continents were likely NOT formed by volcanos, but were part of earth's natural evolution when created. After all it's very unlikely the entire planet was once underwater. I'm not a geologist, but I've read literature suggesting our large continents that were formed billions of years ago was originally one large land mass that over time shifted and separated due to violent tectonic activity pulling the land mass apart. Further, it's this tectonic activity that contributed to significant volcanic activity and earthquakes.... However, yes. Many smaller islands were created from volcanic activity. Matter a fact there is a very active underwater volcano (about 300 meters below the sea) in the Caribbean that's nestled near other islands (Grenada & St. Vincent) and is growing/ rising every day. It currently poses quite a problem for boats which may sink when the volcano occasionally degasses...

just came here to say: A long long time ago there was a volcano Living all alone in the middle of the sea He sat high above his bay watching all the couples play And wishing that he had someone too And from his lava came this song of hope that he sang out loud every day for years and years I have a dream I hope will come true That you're here with me and I am here with you I wish that the earth, sea, and the sky up above-a Will send me someone to lava Years of singing all alone turned his lava into stone Until he was on the brink of extinction But little did he know that living in the sea below Another volcano was listening to his song Everyday she heard his tune her lava grew and grew Because she believed his song was meant for her Now she was so ready to meet him above the sea As he sang his song of hope for the last time I have a dream I hope it will come true That you're here with me and I am here with you I wish that the earth, sea, and the sky up above-a Will send me someone to lava Rising from the sea below stood a lovely volcano Looking all around but she could not see him He tried to sing to let her know that she was not there alone But with no lava, his song was all gone He filled the sea with his tears and watched his dreams disappear As she remembered what his song meant to her I have a dream I hope will come true That you're here with me and I am here with you I wish that the earth, sea, and the sky up above-a Will send me someone to lava Oh, they were so happy to finally meet above the sea All together now their lava grew and grew No longer are they all alone with aloha as their new home And when you go and visit them this is what they sing I have a dream I hope will come true That you will grow old with me, and I will grow old with you We thank the earth, sea, and the sky we thank too I lava you I lava you I lava you thank you for the wonderful video and have a wonderful life to anyone reading this.

The guys that film these for us to watch - they are the real islands, mountains and magma in this story. Unfortunately their courage and passion never gets them a Nobel Prize for science. But we recognise them - honour them and thank them. They are the real champions of the world.
Two miles down? Yeah ... that's a ROUV.

@@KaiserBlade : Nobel, not Noble.

Thanks chat gpt
Australia is the only continent that doesn’t have a single volcano. The footage of the eruption in Tonga is first ever satellite filmed event.
I thought Indonesia's Krakatoa was the MOST violent explosive or volcanic eruption "known" to human-kind...
Powered by ChatGPT. 😂
@@KZhead_user3333 Australia isn’t a continent, it’s a country. The continent is Australasia or Oceania. There are many volcanoes in the australian mainland, but none of them have erupted since european settlement.
Volcanic eruption under the bowel of the Ocean. Due to such Disturbances beneath the Ocean, also, results in the Creation of an Island A must view for the $tudents.

Woow just wow.. Kudos first to the team esp camera guy.
Pretty sure it's a remotely controlled vehicle
Uh, no. Most land are formed by the moving crust crashing into each other.
It's amazing. I was very impressed. The collision of magma and sea water was very good.
Just seeing this gives me chills One of the best documentaries ever
So under the island there's a volcano that can explode anytime??
Maybe, like Hawaii
A volcano that is actively releasing magma has a little small chance of exploding.
It depends on if there are any volcanic islands around, like Hawaii or other ones. It also depends if the underwater volcano has enough heat to explode and enough lava to make an Island, sorry if it you dont get it
@@matthewarnold4557 you are also right

just came here to say: A long long time ago there was a volcano Living all alone in the middle of the sea He sat high above his bay watching all the couples play And wishing that he had someone too And from his lava came this song of hope that he sang out loud every day for years and years I have a dream I hope will come true That you're here with me and I am here with you I wish that the earth, sea, and the sky up above-a Will send me someone to lava Years of singing all alone turned his lava into stone Until he was on the brink of extinction But little did he know that living in the sea below Another volcano was listening to his song Everyday she heard his tune her lava grew and grew Because she believed his song was meant for her Now she was so ready to meet him above the sea As he sang his song of hope for the last time I have a dream I hope it will come true That you're here with me and I am here with you I wish that the earth, sea, and the sky up above-a Will send me someone to lava Rising from the sea below stood a lovely volcano Looking all around but she could not see him He tried to sing to let her know that she was not there alone But with no lava, his song was all gone He filled the sea with his tears and watched his dreams disappear As she remembered what his song meant to her I have a dream I hope will come true That you're here with me and I am here with you I wish that the earth, sea, and the sky up above-a Will send me someone to lava Oh, they were so happy to finally meet above the sea All together now their lava grew and grew No longer are they all alone with aloha as their new home And when you go and visit them this is what they sing I have a dream I hope will come true That you will grow old with me, and I will grow old with you We thank the earth, sea, and the sky we thank too I lava you I lava you I lava you thank you for the wonderful video and have a wonderful life to anyone reading this.

What's the name of the island and are there any recent updates about it,did it survive the waves?
This is a click-bate video, unfortunately. There are at least two different shootings combined, and two islands are there - one is a Polinesian one with deep underwater volcano (Pacifics, supposedly, see flat surface of the newbie Island), and another one is one of the Hawaiian Islands with a nonstop surface eruption (see huge formed rocks and lava drops into the ocean).

Let's say the new island is complete. I wonder what will people call the new island! What'll be the name of it! An answer this generation may never know since we'll be long dead already. But it's still exciting and pretty nice to think about
I think we'll have time to see it being named, mostly because it looks like this baby of an island has enough fight to persevere and grow.
Surtsey island off the coast of Iceland was also made in this way, and I think it started in 1963(?) not sure exactly but yes, we might get to see new islands being born and named, it makes you feel really minuscule and so so powerless against nature.
