I've heard MinecraftOnline has extremely strict greifing rules. You can get permanently banned by accidentally breaking a torch on an old build
mmm not quite, you can get banned for breaking a torch, but usually only when you lie about doing so or if you've been warned for griefing before. If it's an accident and you explain that, the mods will let you go, and if they dont you can appeal and they'll let you back in. but yeah, all bans are permanent unless you appeal

I used to be a somewhat regular player on the server and I’d like to clear up some misconceptions one. You won’t get permabanned if you accidentally break a torch and you let the mods know it’s an accident 2. They need to be so strict on griefing because it’s so old that there are a lot of old builds and blocks so they need to be strict to preserve the huge history of the server 3. It’s not actually as creepy as it sounds I stopped playing a while ago but it seems that there was a mod war and a bunch of people were banned but no creepy stuff Edit: I keep getting replies for this and to clear up things more when you first join you don’t enter the world you enter a room with the rules saying why you shouldn’t grief so you were warned beforehand and 2 you don’t “accidentally” hold down your mouse long enough to break a block it was clearly an intentional decision

I played on the server in 2018 and during my first day as a moderator someone Spawned and tried to kill a baby cow and it ran across a torch and the person accidentally broke it they were honest with me about it and I told them it’s ok but they need to be a lot more careful. 2 minutes I saw that he was banned because another moderator was watching and I got yelled at for not taking proper action as a moderator I’m sorry, but even if the build is ancient I get trying to preserve it but you don’t ban someone for breaking something by accident and if you defend this, you are a horrible person I resigned from my moderator position the very next day, and to be honest, it was horrible being a moderator on Stoneworks is a lot easier

If you actually explained what happened and that it was an accident and had made it clear you understand the rules they wouldn’t have done that. This is a nearly 11 year old server with 11 years of builds and history. The only way to maintain it without using bots and automated systems is to have a strong anti grief policy. Try appealing your ban in the Discord.

And why it has 20 to 30 people is because most people were banned. The beginners don't know how to go to a server and it's not in the servers that most people see today. Another reason is because they have strict rules so the people don't play it because it's so strict.

I played on the server in like 2016-2017 and never got any dark vibes from it, it was a cool community that had strictly enforced rules but it wasn’t negative. I had mods spend time to help me get accustomed to what was going on and all of that. Only weird thing is I’d not log in for a month or two and when I’d come back they’d try and say that I was griefing someone’s base even though it was mine. Potentially could’ve been because I switched usernames quite a bit

I was on there once. They have some plugins installed which logs every block mined by a player so it's terribly slow to play on it since the map is massive. It's there to protect the buildings made by other players. But what I dont understand is, is that they didnt install a plugin that just makes marked areas indestructible. And when you accidentally mine a block (I had to because I was falling into a hole) the mods port to you, bug you for minutes even tho you explained yourself and threaten to ban you for griefing

@@Flowo about 40k bans at the moment. People don’t get banned for accidental grief unless they repeatedly do it, absolutely don’t get the rules, or are actually intentionally doing it. Some of the time if people deflect the questions of staff then they’ll be banned because staff can’t assess whether they understand the rules.
probably the intensive grief protection the server upholds, if you go as far as to misclick a torch and break it admins will teleport and interrogate you until you apologize. pretty sure this is because they want to preserve the server
'Missclick' counts as accident. If you explain to mod that you did break a torch by accident, you wont be banned or warned.

Hi there. I’m a moderator from this server and although there has been some recent staff resignations due to some drama that occurred, the server doesn’t really have some sort of dark secret to it. It’s just people growing up and forgetting about the server and so on. That’s really all there is to it.

We're more strict typically for the reason that we're here to protect builds and other's stuff, Is it sometimes going over board? Yes. But is it necessary? Yes.
But you can appeal your ban in the discord server if you choose so if you really believe that your ban was unjustified.

I used to play on Minecraft online, and really the KZhead community ruined the server a bit, because of KZheadrs, the server has had much more recognition and more players have joined, sadly a lot of those new players were just hackers and toxic kids who didn’t care about the server, which has made the server a much more toxic place than it used too.
