Today I'll show you my journey about how I Explored MrBeast's Abandoned Minecraft Server, simpcraft, and uncover how it slowly turned into an anarchy server like 2b2t!
The entire experience was fascinating, strange, and in some ways, sad.

This video has nothing to do with speedrunners, 100 days, hardcore, "minecraft but", 1.20, Camels, sniffers, hermitcraft, QSMP, trails and tales, or any of those other topics. But it definitely involves MrBeast!
Maybe I’ll give it a look again now haha

Real?
This video somehow captures a post-apocalyptic feel better than many games and movies
It's because we all know and fear the signs of human activity, but on this server all it says is "There use to be players living here."

This would make for a good series finding old abandoned servers and roaming around them.
I like this idea a bunch
this is genius
Wouldn't the mass server leak/griefing that happened recently have demolished most of these servers?
The fact that the number of players dropped to zero on a server of a youtuber with 100M subscribers is crazy.
I mean, it's an anarchy server. Even if you want to do something, some jerk can just ruin it in a moment.

There was something so cool about watching this video to me, watching Fit explore this ruined war-torn landscape like a lone survivor looking for resources left behind in man made structures as if this was the post-apocalypse and how stumbling across a destroyed wreckage of a flying machine (10:03) was like stumbling across a downed jet or a disused tank after a war and not to mention his exploration of abandoned and bombed megastructures like the giant stone wall (4:52) and the obsidian pyramid, that and the way he used derelict ruins to take refuge at times reminded me of Blame! And the whole history and story of the dead structures of how they were used to try and get Mrbeast to come back to the server as if he was some sort of deity who'd left his creation was sort of funny and interesting to me
imagine being the one person who still believes in the server and one day you hop on to see FitMC walking around

This would be a perfect second 2b2t. An anarchy server that's free and open, already has a history and is owned by a famous figure. It's already got a lot of clout, and Fit just gave it the promotion it needed. This should be entertaining to watch.
Would help to get around the que issue.

Shit second 2b2t, plenty of servers with way more history. Sorry to say.
IP>????
Problem is not enough history, owner is somehow less active than house, and more built off a creator than anything.
Playing on an abandoned server is like being the last human on earth, knowing that actual people built and made everything, but everyone is just gone, finding remnants of old player buildings, it's really something that singleplayer can't recreate, a feeling of lonelyness especially knowing that anybody could join at any time, yet your completely alone in there

Hey fit, great video! I was wondering if you could document the similar servers to 2b2t, for a bit of a refresher and to see how different communities have formed in their own anarchy servers!
The fact I have played on this server a little bit recently, and know of that place of trees near the beginning…Is amazing
I love this story of a civilization being visited by god-like beings, then being suddenly abandoned by them. Afterwards their society started to revolve around bringing them back through any means necessary. A digital version of a cargo cult, just like in ww2 where soldiers visited some previously uncontacted tribes, building bases on their land and thus bringing them huge amounts of food and resources. But once they left, the natives tried everything to bring them back, like making rituals imitating their military drills, it became a big part of their culture.
can u name a specific example of this? never heard of this before, sounds interesting

The thing I love about abandoned servers is the fact it feels like you're going in there as a new player in a world, but instead of say, thousands of years later to see smaller ruins, there's recent and chaotic ruins.
What I love about this server is that the post-apocalyptic atmosphere is incredible. It reminds me a lot of Fallout, except that in this serveur, things actually happened. Seeing abandoned houses or signs that are stuck in time, it's always something... I find this kind of time loop fascinating, where once upon a time, there were hundreds of players, but now there's nobody left... Also, just to see that some TNT Bombers are still intact is incredible! Anyway, great video!
Wow, seeing all the abandoned builds is kind of unnerving. It really reminds me of a liminal space where you expect people to be there but they're not, it's just you travelling through lonely places. Just you left to explore the ruins of what could've been.

A man walks along through the bombed out hills that had been blasted bare when he comes upon a small shelter, inside lay a man, one who was old, extremely old. The Traveller asks, "sir, what are you doing in such a place, and where is everyone?" The old man replies,"they are all dead, all gone. We are the Last of Us, no others remain. We are the Last of Us, the rest killed eachother in a pointless war, the only thing that remains is the ruins of the World of Once, but now it is all dead, all gone." The Traveller is stunned to silence. The old man continues, but collapses, gasping in his final moments, " you are the Last of Us, they are all dead, all gone, and so soon shall I."- the old man then lies down and dies, leaving forever this world to go on to who knows where.

I was one of the main builders and designers for most of the projects including spawn, the pyramid and a lot of other areas. our group is called the balance and we were the last remaining group on the server, we found a dupe back in 2020, and their hasn't been one since. the pyramid took over 600,000+ obsidian, it was really hard to get together to build it but in the end we finished it. we also have a lot of other builds, however because the world boarder is so small most have been found, which is why we tend to make builds out of obsidian/netherite. This server overall just has a ton of interesting history, with wars and a bunch of other cool stuff, thanks for making this video! BTW the server is still up today and mostly like 2-3 players play, which are almost all balance players.

Abandoned digital worlds are something I love seeing explored. Reminds me of the old worlds mmo thingy that Nexpo made a video on. Just imagine how many of these servers or entire multiplayer games are out there and possibly being deleted each day.
The server I was on is semi-abandoned. I was the most active player, and all the other active players you could count with your fingers were griefers. We did not get along, and I rage quit for many months before returning. But I was literally the last builder left, and everyone became inactive players because there was no one to fight/grief, even the admin who plays occasionally.

I think it's nearly implied to every minecrafter that FitMC provides the best minecraft content on the internet!
Playing really old mobile games give back this same vibe. Like when I was a kid and had only an iPod 4, I would play Minecraft Pocket Edition which was missing sooooo much stuff like red stone, mine carts, the Neather, the end, tons and tons of mobs. And sooo much stuff, it was like Minecraft with 90% of stuff taken out, I remember every few months they would update the game and slowly add in a few things until one day it became full Minecraft and that was when they switched it to bedrock edition, watching videos of the old Minecraft PE brings back so many old memories of wishing they would add everything that the other versions had. I also did not have internet at my house so I would have to go outside and walk around my neighborhood and connect to random peoples wifi networks who didn't have a password, or I would have to go to McDonald's and use their free wifi, I remember one time I didn't have access to the internet for months and then one day me and my friend walked all the way to Denny's because my dad was always there and I was thinking that it's been so long since I checked for any Minecraft updates that they probably updated the game and added red stone and stuff, I was hoping soo badly that they did that I kind of led myself to believe that they did and I remember being really disappointed when I got there because there was no update. Also I remember I jailbroken my iPod and I got this app called iFile that would let you look at files in apps and I went into the Minecraft PE files and you could see the textures for red stone and mine carts and that gave me so much hope that they would finally add those things. The sad part is that around the exact moment they turned PE into Bedrock Edition and added everything from the PC version to mobile was when I sort of stopped playing Minecraft. Now I'm a full adult and I have a gaming PC with Minecraft and I wish I could go back in time and give my PC to my old self because he would be so much more happy than me right now. I feel like those of us limited to only pocket edition missed out on the "real" Minecraft experience, but we have the unique pocket edition experience that those who were fortunate enough to have the PC or Xbox version never got to experience. The old pocket edition gives off eerie vibes because first of all. The tender distance was extremely low so it felt like the word was full of dense fog, also you never knew what could be lurking just off in the distance, also the world was super small and just had an invisible wall that just ended and you could look off the edge and see the sky under the map, also I remember if you mined red stone, it would drop nothing so I would dig around red stone and leave it there until they added Re stone into the game, the world was also really small so when you would mine tunnels underground, you would always come across old tunnels over and over and over again. Also if your word didn't have any clay, sugar cane, or lava, then there would be no way to ever get any in that world again, you were also unable to switch to creative mode in a survival world. I remember the first survival world I ever started had none of those items so I didn't know what they were for a long time, also a lot of stuff felt useless like clay because you would never heal to find enough clay to build an actual brick house, and also red stone ore was pointless to. Also if you went to the edge of the world and built a tower, you could go up above the world border and walk around up there above the height limit. The most eerie thing was that fire was not in the game, well it was but it was invisible and could break any block, there was no steel and flint or lava buckets so the only way to get fire was to go to this one seed, I forgot what it was called but it would have a lava fall with a tree and once you spawn in at that seed, the lava would start the tree on fire and it would slowly start to burn down the entire world including the stone and the entire would would just start to slowly disappear and it was extremely bizarre. Also I remember my friend had an android tablet and he was able to download maps off the internet and he downloaded a map called Herobrines Mansion and it was this giant mansion and I remember if you were playing on multiplayer and left there world, you had the option to save their map to your device. I remember I quit and saved the map and then it like glitches and a bunch of the chunks were just missing and there was this strange block I found in one of the rooms that was like a a dirt block with the texture of as of there was planted seeds on it and the growing grass seed texture was like 2D and it looked so messed up, I mined it and I held it and for some reason in my inventory, the background of the block was all red. It was so weird, also if you joined someone's world, there were no chests so if you left there map, everything you had would be fine for ever
4:20 i planted some of these trees. Like a year ago there also were a big potato & carrot farm, those were the days…
I think you‘ve passed my base
I can't believe it's been that long already. All I can say was it was difficult moving around when Mr beast started the server.
love this sort of vid!
it's like walking around ancient ruins of an old destroyed civilization
It’s both sad and crazy. Like I know he’s rich and it probably doesn’t cost much to keep the server running but it’s still weird to know that’s it’s abandoned and not being used and yet is still up. And that it was suppose to be temporary and people thought he would come back

I remember playing on Simpcraft in 2020, meeting with a few random players and just trying to get out of spawn. I played for a few weeks, looking back at spawn to see other builds and roads that were still intact and such. The place in the video looks unrecognizable. I didn't even know there was a war going on. If I recall correctly, there was some time where the server had a sort of "hardcore" system in place where if you died, you'd be temporarily banned for 30 days, or a reset of bans would happen.
