Crazy Karen Ruins Black Kids Chalk on Sidewalk. Then This Happens
It's a beautiful day in Mango Park, Jermaine and his sister Lisa are creating sidewalk chalk art. Everything is going well until one of their neighbors, Kristine, shows up. She sees the drawings on the pavement and immediately tells the children to stop. The kids' older brother, James, tries to plead with Kristine to just let them play, but she's not having it. Luckily, a fellow neighbor, Hank, comes to the rescue.

The lady said we were writing rap lyrics and satanic messages and it was just shit we learned from Bill Nye the Science Guy. She got the hose out and cleaned it all away. Yep - I would have gotten out of the car. I would have looked at the drawings and said Wow! Awesome work! The man holding the box was absolutely correct she was bullying those innocent kids. The saddest thing about this is there are people out there like that. Back when I was young I had an art teacher criticized my work and from that day I never drew or created any art ever again even though I had others who were amazed at how real my drawings looked. The words of others especially those you look up to can be very damaging and deadly or very uplifting and healing. Death and life are in the power of the tongue.

I'm going to assume you aren't white and this was in like kindergarten. lots of teachers to young kids say whatever they like and think that they won't remember it. It's worse if the child isn't white. some people just want the world to burn. Also keep creating arts, it's worth it even if you never show anything! The feeling of accomplishment is a lot to me at least.
