This lady is hilarious. I remember in 1981 I was 9 years old we had a neighbor exactly like her. We were the first African American family on the block of a predominantly Caucasian neighborhood. I'll never forget her calling the police on my parents because we fried chicken. She said the smell made her sick lol. As years went by I was then 22 years old and temporarily moved back home. I ended up taking care of this neighbor because she got cancer and her Son and Daughter were doctors and didn't help her. She apologized and left me and my baby in part of her will. Never know who you'll need one day. We became great friends in the end she was Jewish, my Son gained another (bubby) jewish for Grandmother. RIH Mrs. Selma💗

Isn't it a crime to make a totally baseless call to the police. If I was a cop and someone called me to report not liking the smell of the neighbor's dinner I would arrest that person for whatever law applies. Its probably a misdemeanor.

The cops were so cool they told us HELL we love fried chicken 😂. They knew what time it was lol. I am 49 today but I tell my kids about the stories of that subdivision because my kids grew up even more privileged than I did. They were 1994 and 1999 babies and they always ask me where their jewish jewelry came from and I tell them the story of Mrs. Selma and how people can change but not every story has an happy ending. Some people really experience far worse prejudices. I'm from Michigan where living in the suburbs in the 60s and 70s as blacks was a challenge. Things are different back home but we live in the West Coast for many years now and live among all races of people.

Well... it's certainly colorful enough, and the message is good. Might want to consult with some actual police officers to find out what a proper arrest looks like. This one was a little too unconventional, and a real world Karen's lawyer might very well be able to make some trouble over it.
