    • LOL John never disappoints. But, given that he did an episode on Bolsonaro in 2018 I'd love to see him do one on how Bolsonaro is messing up the pandemic in Brazil. The guy is coughing on his own supporters, firing his health ministers and wants the military to step in. There's actually a great video that lays out Bolsonaros handling of the pandemic: kzhead.info/sun/rZilY5qafH97kmw/bejne.html

      @danielmorgan1108@danielmorgan11083 жыл бұрын
    • @AmishRiot Why would anyone care about any other sport? The way you get into Marble Competitions is by looking at the logos, names and story backgrounds, picking one or two teams that you like, preferably one who is top tier and a low tier one, and give them your unconditional support. I got into it a bit before the league started, so I picked Jawbreakers and Hazers, mostly because they have the coolest names, the Jawbreakers were a mess and did not qualify for the league, which left me with the Hazers, and they were just the most mediocre of them all, 8/16 constantly, it was infuriating, but after a race in which they ended up in 16/16, they have now won a gold and a silver in the last two matches. One of which Foggy the athlete who was running, managed to win the final going from last place to first in the last section, ending the mediocrity streak. Is a Marble League really dumb in the end? Yes, but every sport is, Football or Baseball is only important because people give it some importance and get emotionally attached to some meaningless thing, no matter how well played a match is, it will not directly affect anyone who does not care for it. This is just a convenient, very high paced fun sport, with a vibrant community on Reddit, Discord and especially on KZhead, reading the user comments and memes on these platforms after a match is always fun. I like the idea of sports, but TBH I won't watch E-Sports or real Sports because they take way too long, the games last always more than an hour to justify selling seats. But, nice juicy 10 minute videos with different teams, some to love, some to hate, honestly seems like the best sport to get into, even if it is factually really dumb. • Exarian Yup soccer was a British slang term originally, just like “Rugger” for Rugby-rules Football, and was common in Britain until around the 60s when they began to associate it with “stupid American” stereotypes in media. The reason it’s called soccer in the US, Canada, and Australia is that when they were first introduced to Association Football, each already had a home-grown descendant of the same original sport (medieval rules varied wildly, but were basically “split entire city into two teams and whoever gets the ball to a designated end of town first wins”-it was called football because it was played ON foot, not because of kicking vs carrying), with most being more similar to Rugby-rules than Association-rules, and the British folks introducing it used the slang term so there wouldn’t be any confusion.
