I don't mind the audience when there is a genuine laughter but why they are being told when to laugh? That I don't understand.
@@Bruh-jr2ep its a TV show, the jokes are usually reviewed by many people, and so there is some coaching with the audience, many other shows do the same thing. But even though there is coaching the audience doesn't always laugh.... They clap. It's really funny to watch, when a joke fails :) けどcolbert is a natural.

@@Bruh-jr2ep I've worked as a film extra in LA a lot and the vast majority were getting paid to be in live studio audiences. It makes sense if you think about it, they can't fill an entire audience every single show but they still want all the seats to be filled for appearances. Of course you have to laugh and clap when they hold up the signs if you're getting paid for it, in fact a lot of shows would have a warmup guy that tells you to laugh even when you don't think its funny. Most shows were not as high profile as Colbert who i assume fills seats pretty regularly but i think the new york division of the casting agency i went through still cast for that occasionally. Usually it was shitty game shows or smaller comedy shows, @midnight, america's got talent, Bill Maher once. Occassionally i would just straight up refuse to laugh or clap in protest, like that absolutely horrid Moshe Kasher show... I guarantee you no one was there by choice. For the life of me, i cannot see how a legend like Natasha Leggero could ever fall for a talentless cuck like him. Saw her in a show too, actually, she is much smaller in person.

I definitely like watchin Steven do the show at home 100%. I like that it's more unscripted and not so edited . I think it gives everybody a comfort to see him at home surrounded by his family & hearing them sometimes in the background as he does his thing ,bringing us laughter and the news but at the same time being real and not just another TV personality.

Yes, and he gets results in one day. I'm going to sit for 3 hours in my car at a football stadium tomorrow for a test. Then I'll continue to quarantine and wait 10 days for results.
It wouldn't matter if you did get the test. By the time the results are returned, you're either dead or recovered. What's the point of testing when 8+ days in and no results.

I've been a loyal KZhead watcher of the show for a couple of years now, and I must say, I love absolutely everything about the at-home Stephen, with his interactions (both scripted and unscripted) with his family, his relaxed dress code, and his playful explorations of the joys of the reality of no barbers ("Wow, it really gets it fluffy!"). As enjoyable and entertaining as the Beforetime show format was, he has landed on a much more enjoyable, much more intimate format that I can only wish his network overlords will let him keep at least part of when studios do, finally, re-open.

And all the kids will read about it in the history books and ask their teachers why world leaders went against what most 13 year olds get are the simple key factors for preventing a global tragedy. And they are going to ask like didn’t people know? Didn’t people understand? And we are going to have to say, yes, just about everyone knew what we should have been doing-ish. All the respectable and merited experts from early on globally where more or less saying the exact same things, and there were a few countries who listened and used the time they had to actually be probably prepared. And there were countries where it was actually more or less impossible to do the right thing, where all you could do was try to handle the situation best you could. But many of the countries with the best circumstances just chose to not listen to experts, chose to not prioritise their public’s health and lives, just for... ehm nothing? Some dumbfounded idea they could treat it only as a PR thing with harmful populism. History is full of moments where humanity just does objectively stupid things that has just astonishingly big consequences, for no good reason. That is so stupid that it’s hard to convince future 13 years olds that is what it actually was like.
