The normal state of the U.S. economy is actually very bad. Because of this it goes into convulsive spasms fighting to grow any way it can out of desperation. Tricks, gimmicks, rule changes try to stimulate the economy and prevent it from falling but they only bring temporary relief to people since, when you factor in inflation we are declining.
People believe their currency has the worth it does because they have no other option. Even in a hyperinflationary environment, individuals must continue to use their hyperinflationary currency since they likely have minimal access to other currencies or gold/silver coins.
Inflation is gradually going to become part of us and due to that fact any money you keep in cash or in a low-interest account declines in value each year. Investing is the only way to make your money grow and unless you have an exceptionally high income, investing is the only way most people will ever have enough money to retire.

The stock markets climb was do to the devaluing of the dollar. The numbers they give you on inflation are extreamly inaccurate when they change the formula to fit thier narrative.

Buy land and water resources is the money shot.

So what do you do with the gold when you buy it? Where do you keep it, how do you use it? Is it just to hold so you can maintain wealth, (not liquid wealth)? How do I use it for buying a washing machine or fixing my car?
Its basically a savings account. Gold doesnt lose its purchasing power. So you buy the gold and hold it until the storm clears, so when you come out the other side, youll have assets. A bank collapsing doesnt wipe your wealth away, since you have it stored in gold. You dont sell the gold during the crisis, you sell it after.
When you see gold prices plummet back down by 50% that's when you know the next stock market crash will occur.

I'd like to go into silver, but the premiums are insane right now! You need the money to buy 500 troy oz in one sitting, plus pay $500 in fees, to get silver at spot price. I prefer pennies and nickels. Those things are the best of 2 worlds: currency and an inflation hedge. The only downside: if you have to flee your area, that is awfully bulky, which makes gold and silver more practical for carrying large amounts of wealth.
Buy several bags of pre 1964 silver dimes, junk silver 90% will do you fine and you'll be able to use it when things settle.

As an investing enthusiast, I often wonder how top level investors are able to become millionaires off investing. . I’ve been sitting on over $545K equity from a home sale and I’m not sure where to go from here, is it a good time to buy into stocks or do I wait for another opportunity?.

Why is there inflation? So the rich can get richer and the poorer get poorer. A can of soup shouldn”t cost $3 at a grocery store. A gallon of gas shouldn’t cost $4.45 a gallon. If you see the gold price go up we are in real trouble. Mortgage rates are over 7% which is astronomical in today’s home prices. Then there is rent and that is increasing to. I see the rate we are going in the next 10 to 20 years most people won’t be able to afford a home.
