I'm impressed with the attention to detail in this trailer. This is one of very few that I would consider for my family. This is what our homemade trailer dreams of being. Very nice!
My wife and I already own a Boreas XT but I still really enjoy watching videos of all of the other trailers out there. This is an awesome trailer, way to go guys.
Man for that price you could get a 40 ft trailer with 3 slide outs that falls apart in 5 years! 😉. Great trailer and attention to detail!

Nice unit if I were 20 something. But at North of 65, my wife will not cook in the open cold and dust. And I have to admit, that our 31 foot 5th wheel is home away from home. I know, I can't go where you guys go, but we do go in comfort.

Pulled an offroad squaredrop trailer around the country for a while. That phase of my life is done now and I doubt I'll ever go back to pulling a trailer. The convenience factor of no setup was huge but there are other ways to get that same convenience without the logistics and fuel hit of lugging a trailer around. But everyone's needs are unique.

I've had RTT & trailers What was the best was a trailer you could sit inside at a table not have to lay inside when getting out of the weather, I had a hiker well built trailer but the Mission Summit Overland trailer was the best because of being able to stand up and sit at a table. inside storage,heater, outside kitchen and shower.
I can definitely see where more living space out of the weather, the better. How does the pop top do in wind/rain?
@@LifestyleOverland minor leak but was repaired by Mission. Held up in high winds as good as my A/T Overland Summit wedge top. Very good.

@@LifestyleOverland Second vote for MO, I'm in Utah and use mine many of the places that your family travel to, really hard to beat the functionality and small footprint. Have been in snow/rain/high winds without any issues on the pop-top.

We picked up a Off Grid Trailer, Expedition 2.0 after seeing them at Overland Expo West last year. I found a 2021 with only two trips on it in Tucson and snatched it up for a great price. You should check these out as well. We have loved it so far.
That is a fantastic off road trailer. I will be watching the used market for Xpedition trailers. For new my budget is significantly lower.
That’s a very nice square drop. I am not affiliated in any way, but I strongly suggest you check out the Arkto G12 camper if you are in the market. Hugely impressive!
I'm not a big fan of trailers on the trail but this one seems well thought out, feature packed and at least worth the price.
I like the gear hammocks! I finally took possession of my Overkill 510 SO Trailer in July. The slideout is the best feature. I cant stand up in it but its nice to get out of the weather and sit at the half dinette. Solar panels, lithium battery, 30 gallons of water and dual diesel heater for water and cabin. OK moved their production to PA and a new manufacturing facility since they had many issues. But the OK trailer is a unique design and those off road teardrop style trailers are a great compromise between tent camping and an RV. How long have they had their trailer and any issues? I have had friends rent those trailer and had a solid experience.
I like the trailer, only one thing, personally I would be optioning it up with shocking, don't know about over there but it wouldn't last a day on some of the corrugated tracks over here.

How much is this trailor setup? What's the best choice for 2 people who want to travel I've also looked at the pickup truck bed attachments,I'd like a shower option though. Thanks a lot for any help/info.

Yeah, I think that's about where they land from base to fully outfitted with the bells and whistles. It's crazy what goes into making something like this.

It's awesome and very useful for a family, but man it's so expensive.
I don't know about that. I mean it's a rig that brings all the amenities of home on the trip with you, but setting all that up and taking it down probably gets old fast. To me, part of a great setup is the extreme portability factor and ease of setup and take down. I want to be able to break camp quickly. Also, if you've got every creature comfort of home on the road, what's the point really. And, that trailer still doesn't have the water capacity of yours. lol

The weight of the trailer in the video is 3,000 lbs. dry, the base trailer weighs 2,600 lbs. , the GVWR of the trailer is 4,200 lbs. -Cheers! Artie

Not sure if I missed something in there, but that annex did not look like it was tight to the trailer. That is going to do nothing to keep bugs out and any harsher weather. Is there a way to keep that sealed up tight?
The back section was unzipped. The attachment is 100% enclosed when you zip up all the panels. Pretty slick design, I want one for Alaska.
I like the one Trail Recon has better.
Well, my hope of you going back to the Turtleback Expedition are getting slimmer and slimmer...😢 Looks like a well built, well thought out trailer. How much does it weigh? Seems heavy, like something you would pull behind a Power Wagon.
Turtleback shut down production and sadly, still don't have a sleep inside anyhow. Not sure where this falls with weight but they're towing it fine with a regeared Tacoma so it can't be bad 🤣
@@LifestyleOverland looking at the specs, it looks very similar to TB in robustness. 1/8" Al sides and 1/4" Al floor. 4200 lb GVWR, 2600 lb dry.
