I love this headset I actually picked up my own pair of these about 4 weeks ago and I'm really impressed by the quality for such a low price.
How is the bass when playing music? that's always a big factor for me.
it's really good (and best thing is you can detach the mice since i have a separate mic for recording/streaming)
The music sounded really good on my Logitech G930's.

$100 isnt expensive for headphones. I have the Astro a50 and Sennheiser HD650. The Astros are $300 and the Sennheisers are $500

No the headset isn't 7.1. It only can be VIRTUAL 7.1 surround sound if you have/buy a soundcard with 7.1 virtual surround sound (like a msi motherboard with sound blaster cinema or a external soundcard from astro, steelseries,...) CONCLUSION = No real 7.1 surround sound
