I would totally use a ballpen over a box cutter anytime, as I don't always have a box cutter on me everyday.

I currently run a Model D. It was the first mouse I found that I really, really, really love after having used a Microsoft Explorer 3.0 since 2001 ... Good review and comparisons, indepth yet digestible I'd say. Small feedback for the presentor: imo a bit too adhd when handling items in front of the camera. Very jittery and such. I think it's better to be a bit more steady if they will be presenting stuff in the future as well.
I've gotta say, I loved my Model O and then when I switched to the Model D when it came out I was even happier. It's such a great build.
this intro is perfect pls keep it!!!
6:00 Question - Using Logitech G903 mice on Powerplay Mat. My DPI settings are 450, 2000, 4000, 8000, 12000. I have a 32:10 monitor, so moving side to side with minimal wrist movement is ideal for that higher DPI, in-game I am usually around 3000 or less. Mainly depending on the resolution. DPI shift speed is awesome too for precision movement/aiming.
I use a wired razer Naga trinity and I really like it! It's right handed, it has nice rubber pads for the thumb and pinky a groove where the fourth finger naturally rests making it a very comfortable grip. If I could, I'd probably make the mouse a bit bigger at least in the back because i tend to try and do a palm grip but it doesn't quite fill out the space in my hand.
2:27 that sponsor transition was off-brand, too smooth. That should be a written warning.
Well done guys for figuring out who’s editing on this channel, proud of you!

9:15 "A boomer vomited on you!" oof dude
Getting ready to try this mouse out, can't wait :D BTW love the deskmat!! Where can I find it?
I went for this mouse since they offered a smaller variant in the shape that I prefer and it's really light. It didn't hurt that the price was extremely competitive considering the build quality and you don't need to keep the Glorious Core software open to have your RGB if you're into that sort of thing. I honestly couldn't be happier with my choice and would recommend it to anyone who likes this shape and you can now have it in a wireless format as well.
Honestly, I can't even compare how big or how heavy my mouse is, since I've been using the same Steelseries Sensei for about 8 years straight. Probably will continue to use it as long as it lasts, as I haven't seen as good looking, similar size and shape mouse anywhere.
I am using the same office mouse for the last 7 years. I Got no money so i would use it till it dies
Well lucky you, Steelseries is bringing out a new Sensei. Probably time to upgrade.
Do you realise the Sensei was pretty much the first mouse on the processing line of mice that have been mass copied by every single budget mouse manufacturer? You can't have been looking for mice at all if you've not seen anything. From the top of my head the DM1 and Nixeus Revel were the first solid options a couple years back but there's probably a tonne more out there now.
@@svgPhoenix I own a Kone Aimo. Piece of shit mouse. Had 2 break on me by just using them, never done anything to them. First one a shoulder button died after 8 months (went loose and needed like 800g to activate) and the second one was DOA (disconects randomly and most of the time the rgb doesnt work). A friend of mine has the same mouse and has problems with his mousewheel. Never buying any roccat product ever again, Im done. Thats a 70-80 dollar mouse that failed 3/3 cases in less than a year. There is no excuse for this.

I use an MSI Interceptor DS200 with all the included weights in it lol It's heavy
Build quality isn't too good. I've rubbed the grippy texture off of it in a year and pieces started having some play and causing shorts in the LEDs. Great functionnality and button placement for the price though.
I've been using it too for about 4 years now with 3750 dpi with 4 of the extra weights and I really like it I don't if I can return to a smaller mouse now
I never stop using wired, I switched from an old MS sidewinder to a Omen reactor, love them both
Extra appreciate that you directly compared the mice to other knowns/common back to back in the video. Just saying 'this feels/sounds/looks better than xyz' without using side by side comparison in any reviews irks me. There's always gotta be a common ground on things that aren't benchmarked!
That transition to the sponsor was smoother than any pick up line ever.
I just got this mouse, I would have preferred the matte as well but the glossy one was on sale making it cheaper :D
How much, i just bought a matt one for 35. How are you finding the feel of the mouse?
I have had a Model D for several months now and it is possibly the best mouse I have used - paired it with a GPCGR Mouse bungee and I have never noticed the cable.

That segue was so smooth it makes up for all of Linus' abrupt ones
Incredibly knowledgeable and a good in depth review.
can we have the review for the wireless O!!!
That was one hell of a segue.
I just got into Swiftpoint's mouse The Z, they plan on releasing one that has less features but still include the innovative "deep click" called the Tracer, but so far, I'm really loving the Z. I wonder what other people think of it disregarding the non-sale price but more so functionality wise, I mean the darn thing has a built in gyroscope lol, it seems like a great mouse to showcase on this channel if you ask me.
I went from the Naga to the G403 to the Model O-. Lighter, smaller has helped my play so much for a great price.
"I use 800 dpi like a normal human" Me using 2700 dpi.....
Me using 300dpi: what a madlad...
I'd say the average dpi is 800 but that doesn't feel right to me so I use 1000
2500 ftw...anything lower and my wrists start killing me after a couple hours of Rust
DPI Doesn't matter anymore, since games default your mouse sens to whatever they want nowadays, so unless you make sure your mouse is on raw input and the sens is 1.00, the DPI is way different than what you think. 2500 DPI would mean that by blowing on your mouse, it instantly goes to the other side of the screen.
@@Reality_Gamer_2 DPI is the "speed" of the mouse. How far the cursor moves on the display contra how far the mouse moves on the mousepad. I use 1600dpi because 800dpi is too low on the desktop on a 4K display, 800dpi for games.
6:36 what a savage lmfao
I own the Glorious Model D Matte. I upgraded from a Steelseries Rival 600. The Quality you get for the price is outstanding! as for the D- it's way too small for my paws. and I don't know if you are aware but Glorious has a Wired Model O coming soon for $80
I have the logitech g305 in white and for now it's the perfect mouse for me ... love the shape, love the no rgb generic look, love the size ... if it ever develop double click issue I just might try to repair it than change for another.

I have a G-Pro Wired and a Razer Viper Wireless, and I love the shape of the Razer. The G-Pro is JUST a bit smaller, but to me that makes all the difference. The G-Pro gets a little uncomfortable after a few games but the Viper is very comfortable.
I use two completely different mice depending on what task I'm performing at the time. For general surfing the web or casual gaming I use a Logitech M570 which is their trackball mouse. And for gaming or more precision based work (making textures in GIMP) I use the Logitech G602 which is the wireless mouse with a load of extra buttons on the side of it. Both are pretty big mice, but I have large hands so they fit perfectly for me. After using my M570 for a while and then picking up my G602 it actually feels quite skinny though. So there is a little bit of getting used to it again immediately after the transition. But all in all, I'm pretty happy with my mice. Now, if only I could find a mechanical version of my Corsair K57 Wireless keyboard. I love having a full-sized keyboard with even more macro buttons added on. And I use my computer in my recliner rather far from the actual computer which is under the 43 inch 4k tv that I use as a monitor and sits across the room from me. So I need my keyboard to be wireless. But the only wireless keyboards that are full sized + macro keys use weird low-profile keys that just don't feel right to me. Not to mention it's outrageously expensive. I hate the new trend of all the mech wireless keyboards being TKL or even smaller.
ok anyone else wondering how ltt, a channel that reviews hundreds of products a year, doesn't keep box cutters around and has to cut tape with a pen?
I wonder how many workers' comp claims a year they have from wrap rage injuries.
the running joke is they never get a knife to open the boxes
HAHA!! Loved the intro David! =) That mouse reminds me of my Razer Basilisk Ultimate, both in shape and RGB effects. Even though the [Razer] mouse is wireless, I find myself just leaving it plugged in because it doesn't hold a charge for very long, and the cable is uber light weight and doesn't snag on anything. I will be curious to hear your review of how it performs after you've had a chance to take it home and really drive it for a couple of days.
Try setting the rgb to like less than 50% brightness, I think I set it to something really low like 15% or something like that and it lasts me way longer.
I use a vertical mouse, the Contour Unimouse. It's easier on my wrists than standard mice, though I wish they would make an MMO mouse that had all the little buttons on the side, because I still use a Corsair Scimitar sometimes.
He's good at presenting! And the intro was hilarious!

I am one of those mad people who like really heavy mice, I miss being able to add weight to them. I used a Logitech G500 av G500s with a maxed out weight cartridge for a long time, untill it broken and I got a Steelseries Rival 100, and later a Zowie (can't remember the model number), I later switched back to the Rival 100 as I broke my Zowie in about a year playing minecraft... This reminds me of a mod I made to my G500s, I hated the feel of the top plate of the mouse when I got it, it felt awful, so I disassembled it and transferred the top plate from my G500 to the new G500s, they had the exact same shape. I don't think I want an extremely heavy mouse these days, but I definately like heavier mice.
Of course I use all of my 12000 DPI in FPS games. Lower the in-game sensitivity to compensate. Same physical mouse movement (1-inch to make a 180), but you get more in-game precision

Personally Use 2500 DPI on a pretty Decent Red Dragon Sniper Pro Wireless. Not a fancy name brand by any means but for all my uses it is almost perfect beyond the placement of the auxiliary buttons.
So I actually cycle my DPI often. When I'm just casually browsing, I use something like 4K or so so I can just move my mouse to wherever I need with very little physical movement. When I'm trying to focus on one screen, I usually drop it to like 2K, I think 2200, then when I get into games I go down to 1600, 1200, or 800 depending on what I'm doing in the game.
