Bow Hunting Wisconsin Black Bears
Fall bow hunting Wisconsin black bears. Rick and Chris Anderson team up to score two beautiful bears in central Wisconsin. Bear hunting can be a tremendous amount of work baiting stands throughout the summer with no guarantees for success. Archery hunting bears however can be extremely rewarding and possible for anybody to attempt with the amount of public land available. This video details how you can be successful in the bear woods if you draw a coveted black bear license.
The first few sits were slow as the bears were not hitting the bait with the amount of acorns available in the woods but persistence paid off for both hunters. Both Rick and Chris were able to harvest two beautiful bears. Bears are a fascinating animal to hunt and bears are also excellent on the table.

What county was this? And how are you hunting bear in early August? I thought the season wasnt until Sept.4th.
I see now that the trail can says August 28th last year. So maybe the hunt was last year. Hope you tell me the county though, is this in Necedah, or Juneau county area?
It's in urgay county
What does bear taste like? Very gamey, and/or similar to any specific meat?
I've heard they taste different depending on what they mainly eat. If their diet is a lot of berries and simmer stuff it will taste sweet, if they eat a lot of salmon it would tatse more fishy.
you know, depending on the size it tastes a lot like a steak, for me anyways. Some sections can be gamey but thats in every animals. Its really good eating
It’s like sweet meat candy. Beef like texture.
only had it as summer sausauge, was interesting, kinda greasy. will try another way if I get lucky.
@@WImob420 make sure to tell me how it tasted
How much is the avarage cost of going bear hunting in Wisconsin??
Wish we could bait here in Massachusetts.
Why do you kill them? Do you have to many of them out there??
YOU CAN FIND THEM ALL OVER THE BOTTOM OF THE WOODS , YOU MEAN THE GROUND ?

Just call it animal shooting instead of hunting.
Track down and pursue an animal = hunting, but what you are doing is just shooting an animal, a big difference.
Actually there is not much difference at all. Baiting is a tremendous amount of work before hand and you can sit for several days and not even see a bear. Baiting is important for bear management in many areas where there isn’t the terrain conductive for spot and stalk methods because it is so difficult to determine the sex and age of a bear without being close for enough time to watch the animal. Baiting also provided the best opportunity for a good clean kill as bears are difficult to track as the hair absorbs a lot of the blood. There are many different hunting methods but learn why some methods are necessary before condemning.
God bless these poor animals THAT DIDN'T I'M EVEN DO ANYTHING TO YOU!? This should be band EVERYWHERE! Wonder if this bear was hunting food for HER BABY!? Then the poor babies would Probably DIE!? So sad😭😭💔😭💔💔😭😭💔😭
