Bow Hunting for Bear at Camp Bear Grease

2024 ж. 20 Мам.

Join Clay Newcomb and crew on his favorite hunt of the entire year - the opening of the Arkansas bear season. Clay heads to the backwoods with his family and friends to archery hunt for black bear while Clay’s son ventures off on a multi-day backpack hunt to try his hand at spot and stalk hunting. It doesn’t get much better than mules, friends and bear grease.

    • @@jacobneymeyer9692 Black bear meat is one of the finest table fare meats in the natural world. It's also one of the best animals to harvest in terms of yield -- a person gets a LOT of meat off a black bear, compared to a yearling or 2 year old white-tailed deer. It's MUCH better than having state Agencies need to put down animals because the population exceeds carrying capacity -- the state benefits from the sale of licenses, which goes back into creating more and better habitat for all wildlife, and nothing goes to waste. Whereas in an animal damage control situation -- see CO -- bears are shot and left to rot on the ground.

  • Man, as a relatively young man and a new father it brought a tear to my eye to see the excitement Clay has for Bear John here. I understand now the desire to share your passions with your children, and to see that here makes me excited to bring my daughter up in the out of doors. Thanks to meat eater for always putting out such awesome content!

  • Clay Newcomb your a southern man's southern man! God, family and the outdoors, Rinella knew what he was doing when he brought you on to the Meateaters staff. Finally, a man that I can understand and relate to! Your Bear Grease podcasts are the best thing going. Your Daniel Boone episodes were the best of the best. Being from Kentucky I take great pride in the story of Colonel Boone. There is another man that I think you should take a look at and that is Simon Kenton. He had as much to do with or more so than OL' Dan'l with the settlement of Kentucky. Thanks again Clay, I appreciate you.

And I would say this is a good starting now that I could pass down to my son when he is older. But the package was missing the release and a nock was missing from one arrow.Dealing with customer support was terrible. They suggested I buy a new release rather than correct their own quality control issue because it’s to expensive for the. to ship it out from China.Update: manufacturer got back to me and resolved the issue. I retract the above statement.
