After 3 years of thinking about it I finally tried! Attempting to beat one of Pokemon's toughest challenges using some of the most inaccurate moves around, OHKOs. One-hit knockout moves are a gimmicky thing having really low accuracy but instantly ending any Pokemon they hit. It's really a test of luck whether you can manage to survive and land the 3+ needed to take out these crazy strategic teams calling this Tower home. Will Palmer fall? Will I lose my sanity trying? Find out.

This is such a great idea for a Pokemon challenge video. I commend you for being able to take so long attempting and finishing this challenge! I can't imagine the time it must have taken to hope RNG was on your side. That Milotic at the end really kept trying to delay the inevitable LOL
Lapras can learn fissure, sheer cold & horn drill To be fair I don't know if thats still possible but it definitely was in the past

That's a great question. It'd take a lot of work to test out, but should also be do-able. The same mechanic rules apply in Gen 4 so it shouldn't be too much different. Aside from maybe less coverage moves on the opponents.

I applaud your superior battling skills. I have awful luck with the tower. Even using not gimmicky competitive Pokemon lol.

Honestly that would make sense. I think it's not because Guillotine was in Gen 1 when Steel wasn't a typing yet.

I don't think there's a starter that can learn an OHKO move unfortunately...
Now do the same thing again with only one pokemon and sheer cold only
Encounter one Ice type or Sturdy Pokemon and it's all over. No thanks lol. I'll keep what little sanity I have left.

I actually did before this on Pokemon Showdown 😂 Twas interesting fighting teams of legendaries with only 30% accuracy.

Jason was in my battle team though, what do you mean? Lol You literally cannot enter the Battle Tower without choosing the group you want to use from either your party or the battle teams.
