Great informative video! I'm glad you mentioned the bass, (or lack thereof) because i must have rich/deep bass. This is why, i try to always check the hertz range in the specs. I like my bass around 20 to 40hz. Thank you.

Hi Briony and KitGuruTech, glad to see you and seems a great headset i like the looks but since i got the Hyperx Cloud Alpha Pro Gaming i don't feel like going anywhere else, i used Logitech headsets for years and HyperX seems to tick all boxes for me, but non the less great review and on point with the features like 7.1 and the mic oh... quality too you touched the right points.

Senheiser > everything. I got a GSP301 headset used on Amazon for about 50$ US and it sounds amazing and is insanely comfortable, more so than any headset ive ever worn.

One thing to mention : Briony is the only reviewer to have found the headsets clamping force to be too much.... Other reviewers were very happy with it... Even with glasses, and that's what I felt my self having tried a friend's over a weekend. Again, it's a matter of personal comfort here. The top headband pressing on the skull is a point raised by Hoosier Hardware as well but personally I didn't feel that. It's a great headset and I will get this if I can't find the HS70

The ideal is buying a good headset like Takstar Pro 82’s (about £50) or any decent audiophile type headphones and then buying a Boom pro mic (£30) The trick is finding a pair with a detachable cable. This will blow away any gaming headset under £300.
One of the many things I like about Corsair I'd they manufacturer in the Taiwan, and not in China.
If anyone is interested in buying this headset, it's currently on sale for 40$ at Target. With an extra 10% off if bought online.

So there’s no surround sound with just the jack
I just got these headphones and they sound worse than my $20 pair of headphones. They sound super tinny and have almost no bass. Does anyone know of a fix for this?
I bought a H60 and it was not worth the money. The sound is not bad, but using the adapter (usb), the sound becomes much lower than connecting (p2) directly to the motherboard or monitor (using audio via HDMI) ). P2 is perfect, but USB leaves a lot to be desired. Also the microphone audio is terrible... very low... and if you really want to be heard by someone (in Discord, for example), you need to increase the "microphone sensitivity" directly in the Windows panel (forget the ICUE as it will not support you for this). Another very important point, in some games the use of USB adapter causes audio bug. Making terrible sounds like bad contact, for example. And yes, I tried other USB ports and so do these games). I made contact, but Corsair didn't even give any answers about. Story Summary: Not a bad product, its quality and presentation are good, but (for me) it serves only as a headphone and not as a headset. Because I had to use my external microphone again. Also, one week after purchase one of the rods no longer hangs. So every time I pick it up or put it back on my head, the left side rod makes the phone run up and down freely.
Sir, can you please tell me what is the diameter of the inner part or the earcups, are they comfortable? And hey, you can grab the hs50 pro if using the USB sucks and save 20 bucks...

Hm, they're not expensive at all. But I still stand by just using whatever high quality headphones you normally use. Don't really get what "gaming headsets"are for.
For me, its mainly the mic that makes it a gaming headset... and the design, but, in the end, sound is sound, so what matters more is the quality.

Yea but the mics on gaming headsets are shittier than bluetooth headphone mics, its insanity. They sound like fighter pilot mics
OMG its the surround sound thats better i have headphones that cost 350 dollars which is not gaming headphones but premium music/studio headphones and then My Second is the Corsair hs50s that cost the same as these which i bought in 2018 september and they still rock bro and they have not much but a little better about 10-15% better surround sound but they cost 50 and the other 350 yes of COURSE when u watch movies and listen to music the $350 headphones are WAY better but the surround sound is better THATS WHY U CALL THEM GAMING HEADPHONES and then u don't need to spend alot on good surround and mic

@@Mafia28x if you have your headset volume is set really high then yes. Keep it at 80 and they won’t hear an echo. But the audio is better than my 200$ Corsair virtuoso headset.
