And again yes they were interim and both failed multiple times to capture the real thing. Interim belts aren’t shit. Never have and never will be. It’s so they can have title fights for the PPV’s. The division might be stacked but the opponents Khabib fought have only been fighting the same 4 guys and unable to keep a win streak going and refuse to fight anyone else in the top 10 until they were forced to recently because they kept losing. Khabib was a phenomenal grappler for mma but not the greatest fighter ever and not even in the discussion. Not enough title defenses, his resume of fighters beaten isn’t impressive and for 17 of his 29 wins were all cans fed to him in shady organizations in russia and a lot were 2 round fights. Jones, Silva and DJ were all champs for nearly as long as Khabibs entire career went. Khabib can be in the top 25-50 fighters of all time. But top 5/10? Nah. Not even close. Henry cejudo and Alex Pereira have a better record and accolades than Khabib. Alex has already beaten more UFC champs and gotten more belts than him. Stop dick riding Khabib. • Not trying to be a hater but he wouldn't be a tripple champ, he's not a double champ either. You need to hold the belts at the same time for that title.

  • Man, Poatan is savage. I've been following MMA since I was a kid, during the days of Jose Aldo and Anderson Silva. Okay, there's Charles from the Bronx who made a good story, but Poatan is on another level, he's at the elite level of the sport here in Brazil, he's a legend, of 7 fights in the ufc, 4 were with former champions or active champions (adesanya, prochazka, jan, strickland), of the 7, he lost only one. In two years, 2 belts in two different categories, two belts in the biggest kickboxing event on the planet, glory hall of fame and probably in the future UFC hall of fame. I've never seen anything like this in Brazilian champions and few international champions match his legacy. And the coolest thing is that he was extremely poor during part of his life, and has a strong connection with the natives of the Amazon here in Brazil

  • You mma guys really didn't get it. Even that clown Cormier didn't believe it when Rogan was hyping Poatan up (Before dissing him when Adesanya finally beat him). The guy is a master striker of the highest level PLUS he has one punch power. And he knows what he is doing with his guard, he's not an idiot. If you don't sub him, hold him down or somehow KO him (No, he does not have a "glass chin") He will smoke your boots or out strike you 😂😂

    • Just how good is Izzy then. I'm honestly asking as someone who isn't into kickboxing. Not a single fighter has been able to even try to stand with Poatan, except for Izzy who seems to handle him quite well (- getting TKOed in the last round of their 5rd fight).

  • Alex leg kicks look like sissy love taps. Like he seen a mosquito on your leg or something. But the damage they cause make it look like a semi truck ran your leg over. Its absolutely nuts how weak them kicks look. And he gets em on everybody because he doesnt even appear to put effort in them. No telegraph. Doesnt turn them over for power. Just a little swat. And bam you cant walk. Its crazy. His left is like that too. Alot of the ko shots dont even appear to be hard punches. Hes not putting 100% in them.. hut when they connect its like he hit them with a ball bat. His power is just different And when you mix it with a guy so skilled, its a hard night at the office for the best fighters in the world. And he usually wins. His chin worries me. But then again his ability to recover quickly is unsurpassed. At times it does seem like he gets rocked easy.. but then again when israel adesanya and jiri prochazka are the ones swangin... does that really expose a bad chin..idk. All i know is im a fan, and hes become one of my very favorites.
