Roy Keane is always reffering football to going into battle or doing the job. His mentality was something else
yeah thats why he was getting drunk every weekend
How do you know, are you with him?@@detnemt9571
N now we have Bruno crying more than my baby sister
yeah thats why he goes out to assault opposing footballers on the pitch.
😂@@jessil1821
I could easily watch a 2 hour video of Roy just telling stories about the club and football
There’s a few shows where he does - all on KZhead mate, good one with Nev and Carra in front of a live audience 👌🏻
The overlap podcast
The problem is this lot of primma Donna players at man united all think they are bigger than Roy and ten haag. Paying more attention to their socials.
I’d recommend his books (the original podcast!)
Knew exactly what it meant to represent a great football club. And very much appreciative to have played for them. Then there’s players like Sancho and Pogba…
I love how he gives him teammates the credit they deserve. What a player. My favourite United captain.
Credit to Jamie for admitting he would loved to have played with Roy even though he played for our rivals! Love watching Keano proper player he was inspiring
@mrmister769money can help
Could have prolonged his career by saving himself from getting tackled by Keane “The Retirer”.
@mrmister769How does he not have any grey hairs in his stubble?
@@1972dsrai beard dye my friend lol he has greys sometimes on the show hes on 🤓
nothing to give credit to. ud be daft to not want to have played alongside roy
2:32 "Remember who we are, we're Man United" Simple words; but the current squad is begging for a couple of leaders who can say such words with pride.
People have forgotten who you are .
@yamyam3905 not if you actually followed football before 2013
Current players need the manager to hold their hands and do everything for them.
That statement is irrelevant now... They're all freelancing self-employed mercenaries at the club for a limited time only, no loyalty, just to maximise & get as much out of the club, sponsors & personal tie-in deals that they & their agents/managers can manage.
@@yamyam3905 They haven't. They've just reverted back to who they are and who they always were before the purple patch of the Ferguson era.
Looks proud to be standing in the dressing room. Great player and man.
he has a lot of reasons for that unlike anyone from the current squad, it doesnt matter whan man united looks like today Roy and the rest of his men from his time at man united will always be looked upon as footballing royalty
@@djolo5140 💯
Roy in a calm and reflective mood ... would love to see the Sir Alex v Roy thing take a back seat ... to allow Roy some inspirational role in the club going forward ...
It's gonna be a war mate 😂
Big time. I'd love it if Becks, scholes and keano took a sesh. Teach those boys how to give some service to the strikers. I could believe Becks put more crosses in the box in one match than all of the wingers put together have in 2 seasons.
💯 agree
Inspirational role? How old are you? He’s hardly done anything for clubs behind the scenes
@@jacob4690 and how does one start doing something for a club 'behind the scenes'. He's a legend for United regardless
You can see the passion from Roy about United! He really was a one off. A warrior that left it all on the pitch. Not many like him now
Roy would sit quietly read his newspapers before the match then go out in the corridor and beast up on Patrick Viera on a switch of the button. What a legend and captain 💪
Cringe
Roy talking about how senior players run the dressing room and have legends around it truly makes me sad to wake up and realise we barely have any players today who deserves the badge
Serves you right for having the refs in your pocket for over two decades
@@BigDome1 if you are okay with city breaking ffp rules for fun, then you should not speak now.also making allegations without any evidence to prove or even make anybody believe is just saltiness of you united rivals.
Roy the legend, he's what the term "Midfield General" was coined for.
Looks like you need to remortgage your home buddy
@@RossGoddardTV I don't understand what you mean by that comment .
@@StickyBud9395 Don’t worry mate, we’re looking into that plumbing issue. You should be back up and running by tomorrow.
@@RossGoddardTV My Guinea Pig has decided he wants to become an omnivore, but I told him not to be so daft, was I in the wrong?
@@StickyBud9395 oh dear that’s terrible, really good well done. We’re one man short for skiing?
Good for Jamie being so respectful as an ex Liverpool and Spurs player! That midfield he mentioned was top drawer!
The obligatory Dennis Irwin name drop 😂
Yes but what a name to drop🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪
@@treasaseoighe9001 underated legend
Denis is a legend
I’m a lifelong liverpool fan but Keane is a legend. Not many of his type left nowadays
nice one mate 👍
Very seldom do you see Roy have a glow. You can tell being in there after so many years put a spark in em. Great to see
It must have been a great feeling for him. He had the biggest buzzes of his life in that very room
Let’s be honest knean back in the day was a machine.. if he was injured you felt your team had a better chance that day
The point BACK IN THE DAY,
@@deongroupe5826 Nope, you're not making any sense.
Who did knean play for?
“Aww thanks Roy” - that was proper wholesome ❤️🤣
They dont make em like Roy anymore. A true legend and could listen to him for hours. We had Ian Ashbee at Hull our own midfield general and it gets the crowd up. Trouble for the elite clubs now is that the players( and their egos) are bigger than the club, managers and certainly the fans and heart of these clubs dont seem to matter these days....different game now of course.
Keane a leader which every team needs. How Utd could do with him right now with his mentality and leadership.
The new generation have forgotten how great utd used to be. That's why every pundit and ex player who wasn't a utd player hates them
Ex United players and pundits do it as well
"You must of been injured, it was a relief to everyone" 😂😂
As a Liverpool fan I can't believe I'm saying this again...Keane is the only person who I would put in the manager position for Utd.. a no bullshit attitude is needed and I for one would love to see that.
you are clearly a football man, i fear for the game we know, and yes you are absolutely correct 👍
@@ravenmaster6364 takes a football man to know a football man brother... Thank you very much.
Roy was the perfect example of a great premier league captain
One could almost forget the last 10 years with Keane back in there almost!
First real winner that's stepped inside that dressing room in over a decade!
Well said
Ronaldo? 🤔
@@MrDMc1981 again well said
Believe it or not but there’s 2 big winners in their currently with Verane and casemiro both have like 4-5 champions leagues each. And Vernane has a World Cup 🤷🏽♂️
@@dg1786again a great point I forgot about that pair cause errors Eric made them bad players
I like the fact Jamie and Roy has a big bursting regarding either United or spurs on live tv some time a go and are also having such a great time together … ain’t love granted ?
Roy Keane will always be a living legend! Up the Irish !!!
Roy Maximus Keane.
We need keano mentality in the dressing room in order to get the players play for that badge❤
Roy is genuinely happy here
Keano, you legend you! What a Captain!!
The thing that impresses me is Roy always talks about the other players around him he discounts his impact his ability he always praises those players becks giggs scholes butty etc hes absolutely right tho the dressing room with that quality around u 👌. I think players miss that camaraderie n banter after they retire .
Roy vs Patrick, captain vs captain, good old days❤❤❤
You can see and hear the excitement in Keanos voice . Being back in the dressing room and all the memories he shared.
Roy's right mentality is everything ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ every game 100 percent 2024
Roy keeping real as ever could do with him in here right now! Gheez we miss you Roy
We are not missing good managers or players. We are missing a Roy Keane character in that dressing room.
Roy could really do a great job as manager especially since his stint with sky sports. People have seen a calmer, comedic but still the passionate side to him. So I think a lot of young players would really like to play for him, with the fear factor not on the table as much. I think he could actually be the prodical son coming back to reignite the the auld fellas glory.
Roy Keane just simple retro star 🌟
Give keano a netflix documentary special bruv. Mans got alot of great stories to tell.
The only man that hated losing more than Michael jordan. There really is only 1 Roy Keane.
Bit of a strange comparison that
Roy Keane is turning so mellow in his older age now! Haha! It's good to see him smiling and laughing rather than being all serious 99% of the time! 😂
those were the days thx for the memories roy and co
Pretty special to see that, feel pumped for the game now
United through and through. No one like that anymore ❤😢
Roy looks so happy here. Hope he becomes the manager some day.
Roy an absolute legend, if any united player had 50% of his mentality they would actually win something that they could shout about 😂
I’ve never seen Roy this happy
I think Udogie is seriously underrated. He plays almost three roles at Tottenham.
Roy just makes you realise what’s missing there now character resilience and to play for United standards have dropped through the floor and it’s a long way back that the odd win here or there can’t mask.
Yeah, compare Keane and co to the likes of sancho and pogba!
Wow Roy is getting better at this job every week. Looking sharper also
bring born in 2001 i never got to watch but what a player man
Jamie & Roy two legends 😅
Roy and Jamie are right, big characters in the game are rare. The PL used to be full of them in every team but I think players today have been coached to death from a young age, most players are afraid to express their own personality when they step onto a pitch.
Love Roy especially as a Man United fan
The one and the only one Keane. My favorite player by far.
keano is gold . pls bring him to utd
I can honestly say, Roy is such a special person
Eventually there has to come a point where Roy and Sir Alex have a sit down to hash things out.
Wouldn't say either of them bat an eye tbh, it is what it is, life goes on.
If Sir Alex heads out before they do, guaranteed Roy will regret it. He is a sensible guy and knows that managing United at the height of their power was a tough job and he didn't need to bring personal stuff into it.. I'm hopeful they can sort things out.
@@breakingaustinI doubt he will regret it. He knows Ferguson’s age and health scares and still hasn’t spoken with him.
Hopefully sooner rather than later considering Ferguson is over 80 now with health issues
Not a hope, both too stubborn.
He was the reason we won so much took no bs
Never forget when Keane & Scholes ripped Zidane and Edgar Davids . Unbelievable! What a player he was…
Roy Kean was built like a machine. The last of the hard men .. the last of the real players .. now we have players who are a different breed... They do what they want and give up so easy ...
Roy Keane greetings. Glory Glory Manchester United and Sir Alex Ferguson forever ❤️.
Roy would be shouting at a many players at United now... Rashford would be crying!
Roy🐐
Keane is Gold!!
"Somewhere near the mirror" haha
Jamie comes across as a very decent, kind person. Very likeable
I love this man 25 y/o from america never played soccer my homies played my senior year of hs i was their 12 man started a supporters section with the girlfriends and parents 😂 got into fifa and like zlatan pogba era but this man is the reason i love united and football
That midfield of Beckham scholes Keane Giggs can't get Better than that
The Juventus, Barca and Madrid midfields made them look silly more often than not. Why Ferguson changed it and brought in Veron.
@@kb5509Yeah, what a difference Veron made 🤣
@@kb5509 obviously veron was a massive flop I believe. Just saying in that premier league era they were the best.

Briliant Video! As a united fan i am very happy just to see the smile on Roy's face. He must be thinking a lot of good memories in that dressing room😁
What a signing keane is to sky
Love Roy to bits
Current United players should watch Roy’s all vids and than know what it meant to play for Man United
I am a Liverpool supporter and the interview was 💯 class would of loved it to be half hour 45 mins!
I'd have loved 45 mins instead of seeing the tigers get beat by Norwich.😅🐯
I love listening to Roy but it feels like Sky are giving Roy everything and it's like no one else on the panel had a decent career 😂
You could hear the pain in his voice when he said "mixed emotions". Manchester United is just "vibes Fc" in 2024.
Keano with his tea and biscuits 😂
The only player that can command this much respect is Roy Keane.
everybody roasting micah even when hes not around, love it
Love listening to you roy ❤️
Really enjoy watching Roy, a really good aquistion for sky
Just having him down there has to be a good omen 😳💪
I was in that dressing room visiting last year - it was simple and surreal
Roy should deffo be on coaching staff at United
Why? He’s hardly set the world alight as a coach?
@@jacob4690 passion for the club is massively lacking and he has it
No
Rednap being humble, well said to put rivalries aside
My dad and I went to a charity night where Roy Keane was speaking talking and doing a signing after. He rang me and asked me to grab a man utd shirt 2 hours before so Roy could sign it. The only one I could find was a replica 1999 champions league final shirt. Keane finished the evening started signing shirts and my dad..shaking layed the top face down and Keane flipped it and said champions league final??? My dad went white everyone went quiet and Keane after 10 seconds let out a smirk signed it and shook my dad's hand. Has to be the rarest thing he has in his collection now. A one off just like keano.
Roy Keane is always Roy Keane
Literally😂😂
Technially the truth

This is far far better than watching current squad of Manutd playing .. Roy the Keano ...This man is Captain Marvel .I truely enjoyed it.
Captain marvel was bryan Robson
Keano Keano Keano Keano Keano Keano!! #16 Proper legend 🔥🔥
We’ve fallen so far man. These modern players are so high maintenance and still have mid performances.
Great clip to watch but very sad how different it is now

Roy Keane says it as it is and doesn't change his opinion no matter what. Full repsect to the guy.
What a character! I'm a Chelsea supporter, we could do with someone like him right now. I just love listening to Roy Keane, a top man. (shame that he played for United!)
Ive got the fealing that everyone will see the United legends around the club a lot more now
Roy makes it sound like in his day there were no tactics, no strategy, no instructions. Just a cup of tea, a biscuit and have the best 11 in the league:) simple:)
Roy is the loyalist man to his club I can think of captained them and defends them to the hill. The way he backed Ronaldo against everyone was proper captain like
Roy was ready for war 🫡
That man should be in there as a manager ,Its in his blood
Roy Keane a legend and a lot of Manchester United players could take a leaf from him.
