    • That is why it’s difficult for the manager to thrive within this club. There are still people working there from when fergie was managing. The same facilities are still there from when sir Alex was manager too, it’s crazy to think that this is an environment that a manager can thrive in. On top of this everyone still speaks about Sir Alex around the club, punditry, comments, the lot. It’s like a girl that compares her new boyfriend to her ex and still has him around the new guy won’t have a difficult time.

  • Problem at United is the first question Rio asks Ten Hag - "who's the person making sure things are like the good ol' days?" then mentions Scholes etc. It took 30 years for Liverpool with Klopp to make new history and crucial to that was to stop living in the past with these huge expectations. It baffles me why other clubs don't look at what Klopp has done and learn from it. He took LFC from mid table to champions in 3 years all the while playing good football and not breaking the bank. Numerous factors went into why hes been so successful but one of the big ones is definitely a mentality shift. Second to that is recruiting hungry players with the correct personality to form such bonds that every player would give their all for the next.

    @3allz@3allzАй бұрын
    • Yup what Klopp did at Liverpool in the modern day is akin to what Sir Alex did with United in 1986-1990. Respect the past but move onto the present and future. Klopp’s achievements with the limitations he’s had are far greater than Pep’s.

  • I had been critical of TH in so many ways. But the win against Liverpool has softened my criticism of him. I just hope he gets inspired with the eruption from the fans and start making his team play more exciting and competitive football especially against our main rivals.

  • Good to finally have a clear understanding of what Fletcher does. All we ever hear is so called top reads calling him to be thrown out the club because he 'doesn't have a CV', similar to what happened to Carrick and Kieran Mckenna.

  • A little weird listening to Ten Hag saying that Casemiro, Varane, Bruno and Martinez are the players setting the standard at training, but still the club wants to sell Casemiro and letting Varane go for free, but Rashford, the biggest earner at the club is NOT in the top 4 of setting the standard, That´s quite worrying...

    • They're all older than Rashford, bar Martinez and Bruno, have all won more, I'd say, it would be very worrying, and explain a lot, if Rashford was leading ahead of Casemiro, Varane tbh, it was worrying, when Maguire was leading Ronaldo, Pogba etc And he's not the biggest earner, he's like the 3rd, behind Varane and Casemiro

    • @@jean-paulwalters8855 But since Rashford is the poster boy for the club, shouldn´t he set the standard? He´s come through the academy, and now seems like the most lazy player in the entire squad based on his antics on the pitch. He loooks like he couldn´t care less.

      @martinjasper7650@martinjasper7650Ай бұрын
    • @@martinjasper7650 Foden and Saka are poster boys for Man City and Arsenal, they're not leaders, City have Rodri, Dias, KDB, B.Silva, Walker, Ederson, before getting to Foden, they're main leaders, Arsenal, Odegaard, Saliba, Gabriel, Ben White, Jorginho, Rice, before getting to Saka, our most experienced, and pending captains on the pitch are, Bruno, Casemiro, Martinez, Varane, Maguire, even Mctominay is more of a leader on the pitch than a Rashford, and if he's lazy, then he should be sold, but Ten Hag is adamant on keeping him, and so is the club

      @jean-paulwalters8855@jean-paulwalters8855Ай бұрын
    • @@jean-paulwalters8855 I´m not saying leaders, but setting the standard for every day training, Both Foden and Saka trains well, but according to Ten Hag, Rashford is not one of those setting the standard. That´s a major problem for the highest paid player in the club.
