  • Two genuinely amazing ppl who are able to entertain without bashing ppl who are marginalised ie. Ethn!c minorities, lg*t etc and actually use their platforms to defend those ppl n spread kindess on positivity whilst still bring us all laughter n joy

    • I’ve found a large portion of comedians tend to be left leaning and pro-human rights. Rowan Atkinson, Hugh Laurie, Stephen Fry, Bill Bailey, Jon Richardson, Greg Davies, Russell Howard even comedians like Frankie Boyle and Al Murray put on over the top personas but are privately or publicly quite liberal in their viewpoints. My theory is that to be a successful comedian you have to be quite witty. Usually that means you also did very well in school. Left-leaning arguments tend to be very grounded in rationality and empirical data while right leaning tends to be based more on emotion and gut instinct. So if you’re more witty and intelligent you’ll naturally lean more towards the left.
