    • @RaozSkillz he's the moron? We'll come back to who's the moron in a second. So Eddie was hitting high average for that particular machine. High average meaning good but lots of other people was hitting similar. So he hit in the 990s, and then hit it so hard it completely destroyed the machine? Do you suppose he did high average 3 times, then hit it harder than anyone in the world ever? It's okay to have a favorite, but you don't need to have your head up your ass about them.

    • True. However, my guess is that the fight will be like watching pistol shrimp (which are shrimp that can break human bone with their punches, which are literally so fast they break the sound barrier). I bet you money that whoever wins, it'll be the guy to have the first punch. Just remember, it only takes a few hundred pounds to shatter a human skull like hard candy, so a punch like this would kill the average man no matter where it hit. We're talking collateral damage, (if it's a body shot) broken ribs and hemorrhaging organs, just all around death and destruction. The fight won't last long if one gets a solid hit, that's all I'm saying.

It may look good hitting a bag but its a lot harder to generate the same power and land your shots accurately when your target is moving, i can see conditioning becoming a big issue early on as the more muscle you have the more oxygen you have to feed to those muscles then there's lactic acid build up and as your cardio goes down the pan so does you're speed and strength, just have to wait and see.

  • Eddie was def generating much more force in his punches than everyone else. Issue with these machines much like the sledgehammer bell ringer machines is that you have to hit it dead on straight so it doesn’t get lateral resistance. The black kid barely seemed to hit it and got 997 yet Eddie was visibly shaking the entire machine at only 980 because his shots were brute power but not straight down the pipe. It’s often about where you hit it more than how hard you hit it

    • @@GraveUypo Not sure why my original response disappeared, but I'll post again. Google "how do arcade punching machines work." I am not wrong, and it's not debatable. The vast majority of sites/articles/etc. also state what I already know to be fact due to having worked on these machines myself. These machines have a type of light sensor and measure time the beam is broken for. The shorter the duration (the faster the bag moves) the higher you score. It's absolutely as simple as that.
