    @benvanderwegen@benvanderwegen24 күн бұрын
    • Absolutely! I've seen so many comments say that "Eddie would crush Aspinall easily if he tried" and stuff like that. Eddie's a fucking beast, but Volkov and Aspinall would absolutely smother him in a fight. Aspinall could even choose whether he'd wanna KO him or submit him. They spent their whole lives training for their sport; no one is gonna beat them just because they're stronger

      @yggrus6936@yggrus693621 күн бұрын
    • @@yggrus6936 "In a fight" and "in a real fight" are also kinda meme statements. Everybody has their own idea of what that is. Few hundred years ago it generally meant poking holes in each other with sharp metal. Some places it still does. A statement that would make sense is "either athlete would win under a ruleset that favors them specifically, but in most circumstances the guy who made fighting his entire life would come out on top" .. Sounds less snappy though

    • @@leftyo9589It's a literal physics thing. The time it takes for your brain to take input from and output to your extremities takes longer. Probably not all there is to it but it is a thing

    • @@leftyo9589If a tall person like Brian has 0.5m more nerve tissue length to his arm muscles and nerve signals travel at something around 400 kmph then Brian Shaw is already by default 4ms slower than a normal sized man.

  • Best way to explain a punch to Eddie and Brian would be comparing it to a bench. When you're half way through a barbell press (on a heavy weight) you struggle to push through and then the final third you press it easily because you're at your strongest in the final third. The same logic applies to throwing a straight, the end of the punch is the strongest part of the motion by far. You could have obliterated it even more.
