Quick tip- If you find a safe from an antique collector/seller and former jeweler. Look up the brand and have it appraised first because the safe itself might be extremely valuable. Most likely not but certainly possible.
That was hilarious just the opening safe bits...what a lovely Bentley luxury car in pristine condition...what a find! Good teamwork on sorting out the stuff in this container...great tip off!

Looked like there's a 3rd sleeve compartment they missed that is probably used to store paperwork. They never got to it. Maybe it contains deeds, share certificates and trusts
As a locksmith I cannot tell you how it pained me to see such a pretty and old safe murdered when it woulda cost 150 bucks to open it. Good content all the same keep it up Eddie!
the safe itself would've be of some value right?
@@SedatedPigeon Guessing so, without seeing the codes on the back saying which model and year it is I'll never know but antique safes are generally a better price then half of what he pulled out of that unit
Is it possible to open a locked safe without causing damage?
@@Cannibalable yes some safe techs can but I'm sadly not qualified enough for that unlike my mentor. If your trying to open one normally safes have a special place a locksmith can look up and drill out to open the safe with small damage to it and then they patch it back. The content of trying to open the safe that way probs helps get more views, more money .
The ring would be an excellent gift for the wife. As we all know on this channel, Alex is the unsung hero with her cooking, keeping all these big men we see in the videos well fed. A diamond ring is certainly a good way of saying "thank you".

So true. There's a shipping container dealer about 2 miles down the road, and I've been wanting to get one. A refurbished one in somewhat good condition is 4 grand. And that's for something scaled from 1 to 10, possibly a 3 or 4 or 5 rating.

Honestly, I think Eddie at least broke even.. Real gold Sovereign coins from the early days of Elizabeth II are expensive stuff.. and he got what? like 12 of them! Each one of those might be worth $600 to 900 in that condition. The Bently was a bonus. That was nuts! I am making the case the Eddie was lucky to be close to breaking even before the car turned out to be such a valuable one.

Yeah was cool to se him back, more of this content.
There were some valuable things there that got overlooked. The fact that the old bloke had an eye for quality collectables was a major clue. The Cannondale bicycle is actually worth a lot of money. They're made from high grade carbon fibre and are handcrafted. For these reasons, they're only made in small quantities. The safes were also worth a lot of money. Even if you had drilled out the locks, people would have still payed a lot of money for them and then put in new locking systems. The wooden chairs, going by the design and fittings, are most likely either anitques or been crafted by a cabinet maker french polisher but more likely both. (The top back of the chair runs all the way through to the bottom back legs of the chair and then fitted with metal fixtures for extra reinforcement. They're well made, sturdy and long lasting, probably also made from quality wood.) I'd check the years on all of those coins as well. Also, the container everything came in..worth money in itself..but converted into a donger, they make for an excellent affordable little cabin home or office, that can be moved between locations when needed. :) PS. I love your videos. Keep up the good work. :)

Beautiful Bentley as well, personally id service it and.keep it just for a year, they are pure luxury!!! I would like to know what's happening to the actual container,as they are worth a bit!!
Eddie you forgot to value the container! It has to be £2000 all day long! It is the 30 foot one which are not as readily available as the 20 or 40 footers! I know it was entertaining to see you attack the two safes but they were also of high value at close to a grand each. It could be worth going through the Sand/sawdust to see if there were any individual gem stones!
The cynical part of me says that no way is that container 10 years old looking at the condition of it. That paired with how they treated the safe (I.e, no consideration of what they might be destroying inside it) makes me think this video is a bit staged.

Very nice catch, boys! Did you 2 fellas even factor in the proceeds for the 40' shipping container into reconciling the profits? Here in the U.S., a forty in decent, seaworthy shape will easily fetch $4,000 USD, perhaps more depending on location in proximity to a port city or intermodal hub. Worst-case scenario, a scrap/salvage company will give a nice chunk of change for it, but looked to be in nice shape. Cheers!

That old safe, at auction in Canada... approximately $750.00 -$4000.00, and I've seen some blow over the 10k mark. The one I bought started at $150 & ultimately ended up costing me $1700.00. I sold it for over three times that amount, to a collector in Toronto. She sold it & shipped it to a gentleman in Vancouver, for an undisclosed amount. I suspect it was well over $10,000.00. It wasn't in as good a condition as your safe was. I'm afraid you made a very costly mistake. I hope you can make up for it next time. L

Ye they could be worth quite abit depending on the grade and rarity for sure. Like there is American gold coins worth like 100 -200 grand. Lots of stuff depends on wich year they are from, and how many where acculy minted. Then we got another kind of coin collectors that collect errors and all kinds of shit aswell.

Was hard to find this comment among all the people complaining about the old safe. This car was on a thumbnail for a reason you know.
This whole video is staged. The car clearly hadn't been in storage for ten years. The plates had been conveniently removed to hide the fact that is likely taxed and MOT'd. If you think this whole video is genuine, you are sorely mistaken 😂

10 year old gas dosen't work anymore and you can't probably even store a car with gas in it, in a container, if you are planning to ship it. And the car battery is for sure completely dead after 10 years, then it won't start or run on a little "help starter" especially not a big V-something engine.

@vaughan4254 true, if you're gonna break something like that, make it cool
Hi Eddie, I worked in the jewellery trade for a time and if there were heavy metal boxes with black powder in them I hope you didn't discard that material. Jewellers save the gold filings and silver filings and melt it all down at a later date. The black metal filings could be worth millions of dollars when reworked into gold bars by smelting. Another thing the old jewellery manufacturers would be to cut up the carpet in their factory every 50 years to mine the gold that has collected in it. Good luck, I hope this helps? You have probably already done all of the above? Top container to have purchased.
If you pause exactly at 29:24 there was one gold coin on the left of the detector it's (or was) partially buried in there you can see the golden circular outline in the dust. The foot toss buried it more. I hope yall were able to find it later off camera.
Apart from the complete set up of knocking the vase off, i enjoyed that video. Congrats on the Bentley. Plus shouldnt underestimate the value in books or the value of the safe itself.

All that "dirt and dust" in the safe is actually probably meant to go the smelter. Jewelers create a lot of gold dust as they are sawing and filing material, and it is common practice to collect and save that dust to send it to the smelter. That "dirt" can be worth it's weight in gold, literally! Jewelers typically keep rugs under their stations to capture the shavings and then vacuum them up, save what the vacuum collects, and after they have accumulated enough send that and even the carpet itself to the smelter. You can get ounces of precious metal back from stuff that looks like plain dirt.
I was thinking about that with the jewellers glasses when the dirt kept beeping the detector despite no coins being found.
saves are filled with sand /dust to make it havier. would he open it with a key there wouldnt be any sand /dust cause its in the walls
@@Mt2pserverGplays I was going to say something similar, the only thing I would add is also for helping with fire damage prevention to whatever is inside. They joked about asbestos, but it is actually quite likely it did have some in those safes especially depending on the age of them
My thoughts too. The dirt will be the sweepings from under the jewellers desk. When they collect so much, they send it off to be melted down. You can even see its gold colour when he kicks it. Probably more gold in that than all the coins!

What? That's good content, honestly interested in the finds.
Great one😊
0:32 Eddie my man, that was so freaking dangerous! Kentic loads on those chains when they brack can be enough to shear limbs! Please have your guys stand far away from the radius of the chain next time. Honestly, you guys got pretty lucky it was a linear pull, so the chain snapped towards the other connection point. Even a few degrees will create a whip-like radius!
For anyone thinking on storing anything long time in the shipping container like this, i highly suggest you ether get dehumidifier or very least put few bags of crystal cat litter in the container as well. That cat litter will pull moisture out of the container and things wont mold as easy. Cat litter can absorb air moisture over time and you can reuse it by heating it to evaporate moisture from the material. To check the material, how about going to drift store to get a sieve to filter the dirt trough, or how about calling a locksmith.. he could have gone into those with out wrecking them and one of those sell pretty penny, specially the old ones. Your head, not your muscles, but when you have money to waste like that guess it does not matter... Also when you find vehicle like this in storage that has sit long long time, dont even ATTEMPT to start it. You first drain the old fuel out, replace the battery, check the cylinders and fuel lines, check the brakes and replace the brake fluid since it has to have pulled all the moisture into it and in general for any leaks, check the oil and coolant, REPLACE THE TIMING BELT and then you can start trying to get it running. Trying to start it could cause old timing belt to snap and now you have lovely vehicle with wrecked engine and need to do full rebuild. His fucking lucky belt didnt snap or chain tensioner didnt fail. Not going to check witch it has but in general that is very much possibility. If belt is 5 years old even if it was just replaced before putting in storage, replace it and while at it might as well replace belt tensioner. Also diamonds are worthless, just artificially made valuable by one company owning 90% of world diamonds and very slowly releasing them.
😊
Diamonds are not worthless. This is one of the stupidest, most annoying “facts” that I see people spouting when they have no idea what they’re on about.
Lol, wealthy people problems
@@boarbot7829 They're worth whatever the market value is, I'm not sure what his point is.
@@joshs7160 yes, exactly. People seem to completely forget about “things are worth what someone will pay for them” when it comes to diamonds.
I want more of these from Eddie. I'm digging the content.
The gold coins, and then the car, even if it was in worse shape that would make you enough. (oh, that was lower than expected, but i forgot the ring) And while it hasn't run for some time, and needs some work, pretty sure that's worth while and will make you enough before or even after you do it then.
All that dirt appears to be jewelers mat dust. So when a jeweler is refining gold and everything all the gold they shave off usually goes on the floor in front of them and they have a mat so all that dirt could be all pure gold. it just needs to be refined and cleaned.
