After this episode I wonder if what happened with Fizz is the reason Blitzø doesn't visit Stolas in hospital. Because he tried to visit Fizz and was told Fizz didn't want to see him. Now he's terrified of the same thing happening again (even though Stolas literally told him to visit - insecurities don't listen to logic). The depth in this show is crazy ❤

I think this takes place after Stolas gets out of the hospital. In the last episode, he was abducted by Striker and then saved. In this episode, you hear striker talk in past tense about "almost" killing royalty before. Plus, Stolas is seen in this episode seemingly recovered to help Asmodeus out with the shady lawyer. He could have just recovered quickly or perhaps some time has passed between the episodes. Good take either way :D

It may be purely in contrast with the other characters, but I think he's the only one who has never made a single sex joke, innuendo, or made threats of that nature. Not even when he had Stolas tied up and was torturing him.

It’s because he wants so BADLY to be taken seriously, but people keep throwing out horny one liners and innuendos that it deflates the tension he craves. But it’s not even limited to horn-dog zingers either. He reacted the same when Stolas snarked about tying somebody to train tracks and self-aggrandizing statues. In short, he’s a slippery tryhard that loves the Spaghetti Western aesthetic and loses his cool when that gets redirected or he comes up short.

Fizz waited all these years for a reason to forgive his best friend, to know that he didn't actively try to kill him, that everyone around him was lying about the truth. As soon as he knew the truth he started to forgive. He wanted blitzø back even if it was 15 years later. He is in a place now to have more than he ever imagined and rekindling their friendship was very important. Blitzø is so happy to have Fizz see the truth but he makes that joke at the end because after all of his trauma he doesn't know how to except emotions without trying to play it off.
It was been better if this was a multi episode arc because both have toxic mindset and personality that need to be confronted in order for them to be become true

Something I noticed is that when Blitz says he was trying to get help during the fire, before you see him turn and focus on his mom, he does mouth to someone about Fizz being somewherre where he points to. I might be stretching just slightly but when slowed, it looks like he says "Fizz" to someone, pointing in that direction, cause he saw his best friend but knew he wouldn't get there in time. 15:57 is the time to slow down if any one was wondering.

This is my favorite episode for so many, many, many reasons. You get to see the real person within each character, and it makes me tear up every time. We learn so much about each of them: Fizz is the most forgiving, kind-hearted, sweet (and more adorable) imp in Hell. Ozzy is stronger than most of his Sin counter parts because he is able to be vulnerable. Blitz's smile is pulled off to show how he is the most complicated, yet gentle guy who is loyal, smart, and witty - yet so damaged, and scared to not only be hurt, but to hurt someone by mistake again. Stolas is as pure, gentle, and kind as Princess Charlie. He doesn't expect favors, or use the fact he helped Ozzy in order to get what he came for, and instead he is just happy to see Ozzy and Fizzy okay and back together. He accepts the 'no', helps anyway, and then leaves with a smile. Such rich and powerful characters that even the most heartless and unemotional of us can cling on to -- and with beautiful artwork and amazing voice acting and singing to go with it. Thank you so much for this and Hazbin Hotel. I haven't found this much happiness in a series in a very, very, very long time.

When you think about it, Asmodeus doesn’t have any issue with Stolas in the “House of Asmodeus” song. He’s just pointing out and complementing how Stolas is living in the “spirit of lust”. It is everyone else’s reaction that is negative, Asmodeus is simply complementing Stolas, for something Stolas isn’t proud of. It makes sense Asmodeus would get along with Stolas, even if Stolas now doesn’t get along with him.

Like he says in the episode, Fizz has a pretty much perfect life. He's famous, he's successful, he has animatronic doppelgangers all over hell, he has a fantastic relationship, he lives in a mansion, has the backing, love, and support of one of the 7 sins, he's doing better than 99.999% of the imps in hell. His injuries didn't hold him back, he succeeded despite them. So, it's pretty easy for him to forgive Blitzø because it isn't like he ruined his life. Plus, they were best friends and had been best friends since they were very young, so again, it makes it much easier to forgive.

Still, though, talk about a freak accident with the Circus Fire. All that because he couldn't confess to his best friend. All those lives lost or destroyed from a simple shove meant to portray his self-frustration. You'd think such a little emotion wouldn't be enough to cause such massive destruction. Poor Blitz has to survive and live through such an event, possibly on a day-to-day basis. Survivors of that fire need some serious PTSD therapy.

Stolas getting excited to pour over contracts and stalling the lawyer was hilarious. It was cool to learn he and Asmodeus are in fact friends, and I loved seeing the subtle display of his care and good nature in him helping Ozzie out with the contract negotiations. Fizzarolli's accident probably looked a lot like what happened to Darth Vader since they both suffered from severe burns and ended up having all their limbs replaced with mechanical ones. Fittingly both Fizz and Vader became far more famous after their injuries.

Stolas really is one of the most calm, collected, well meaning characters of this show. He was cool when Stryker caught him, chill when Ozzy freaked out, and was completely fine when assassins were trying to kill him He has a lot of power, but with that much power most people would let it get to their heads, and Stolas just isn’t like that
Being top tier powerwise or born so does that to a guy. Not much can really do efficient damage, and he knows that 90% he's not getting hurt. Even with Asmodeus, he knew he wasn't going to try to hurt him.

I love how Asmodeus didn't completely disrespect Stolas for saying he had feelings for Blizo, yes he dismissed the concept of love, but he didn't outright insult Stolas for having those feelings
I mean he was a lot harsher on Moxxie and Millie, I assume that was because there was a crowd and he had a reputation to uphold, but this episode ended with him being more open about it in public, this was an episode about making amends I guess since Blitz and Fizz are now on good terms, which means Stolas and Ozzie could be too, Ozzie realized quickly that he and Stolas aren't too different from each other so he sympathizes more with him

The fact that Blitz was the one that started the fire that killed his mother adds a whole new layer to his character- he blames himself for ruining his sisters, fizzarolis and his own life, which Is maybe why he keeps himself emotionally distanced from Moxxie Millie and Luna, because he's worried that he'd only hurt them and make them hate him like he did with fiz and barbie wire, because from his perspective he only makes the lives of people around him worse.

Now I fully understand why Fizz hated Blitz, he thought that he tried to kill him over jealousy and envy but in reality Blitz didn’t mean for that to happen but it ended up losing his mother and I see why Barbie hates him as well. She blames him for their mothers death and Blitz blames himself more because he accidentally caused the death of his mother. Seeing this episode I’m glad that Blitz and Fizz can be friends again, I only hope that in the next episode Blitz would re-patch things with Stolas.

I'm so glad/happy that they have each other. I still hope if they make a new season of Helluva Boss, I hope/pray that they'll make an episode of Asmodeus proposing to Fizzarolli in marriage, and then they have a wedding, then they are married to one another.
