    • Me too, I love boxing because of Pacman. Even to this day I still watch boxing. Mainly Tszyu, Crawford, Inoue, Alvarez and of course any random Filipino boxer who happens to be up and coming. He also restored pride in being Filipino,which can quickly be lost living in the Western World. As a race who is exploited world wide for our skills and financial situation, and often underestimated due to our small stature and ethnicity, he really instilled a fighting pride for Filipinos worldwide.

Still, his increased strength as he went up in weight was too questionable. The use of steroids are always going to follow his legacy.

      @hilariog26@hilariog26 Жыл бұрын
    • @@hilariog26 The steroid allegations was never proved, Marquez lost 3-1, Marquez should've lost the first fight one of the judges scored the first round 10-7 even though Pacquaio knocked Marquez down 3 times in round 1 and that was the judge that scored it a draw meaning if he scored the first round correctly Pacquaio would've won a split decision. Don't get me wrong the Marquez IV knock out was a beautiful timed knockout though

  • Trivia: Pacquiao actually had a fever coming into this. In an interview he said that he really overtrained in this fight and his conditioning was not good. After this, he adjusted his training regimen to reduce the number of weeks so that he would peak just in time. But still....He blew Erik Morales out of the water

    • @@eduardocervantesaca Additional note, in this training camp, they really tried to develop Pacquiao's right hand. As you can see, it worked beautifully. Not only was it an effective sneaky counter, it also had power to drop Morales. But because of it also, training camp took longer than what he is used to. So coming into this, he had a fever. Probably why he also aimed to end the fight quickly
