Thanks for joining me to see what you'll experience as a tourist on the mainland in Yemen! My first (really only serious) negative experience of the entire trip happened here at the Seiyun Khat Market...but that doesn't take away from many wonderful moments and experiences outside of that! Please consider subscribing if you'd like more ideas of what you might expect as a tourist in this unique destination, and other places I might end up finding myself in ;)

  • I find it very admirable of you traveling the Middle East🙋🏻‍♀ there's So much beauty in each region, as a Mexican myself I find much of it resembling my own culture in some ways, Inshallah I will see one day Maalsalama from a Latina

  • I am sorry for what happened to you in the khat market.. I hope that you will visit Yemen after the end of the war.. Thank you for your adventure..Because of the 8-year war..and also the high prices, people have become very miserable in Yemen..but when the war ends, you will love Yemen..and the people are also in it..

  • I went to the dark side of Yemen. I come to Sanaa and the northern regions. There are arduous mountains, picturesque places, developing cities of thousands of years. Everything is available 🇾🇪😂

  • At the time of this video, Aden was and is currently the main International Airport in Yemen. Seiyun is a much smaller airport with not as much traffic. Sanaa airport is now open with multiple weekly flights to Jordan.

    • You are correct! I really hope someday that Sanaa and western Yemen will be safe to visit for everyone without conflict! I want to experience visiting Sanaa and Aden, and other places...but threats of certain extremist groups, in addition to the mere fact I visited this country twice...it makes things extremely challenging back home, to say the least. From a broad, bigger picture perspective, I sorta wish Socotra would become UAE-esque so western cultures would give Socotra a chance to become exactly what they would like as their own govonerate without extremist influences!! I hope the translation makes sense?

    • @@muhammadashfaq6996 I cannot comment on how safe it is for a job. I can only speak as a tourist. In the Hadhramout region, I did feel safe when I was there. I'd consider returning to see more of the country. I encourage you to do your own research and make some contacts to see if Yemen is a good fit for you!
