  • So, here I am sitting in front of my computer, drinking a beer and watching this moving film. The question is: what is it that makes you happy. I am working from 8:00 to 17:00, in an office. With computers. Air conditioned, coffee and tea for free. Tashi, and his family are working the whole day, hard labour, even raising a child. And they smile, they enjoy life. Tashi is so competent and so able to manage all the duties of her life. And she is smiling... just beautiful.

  • I felt so calm after watching this. I think this is the real way of life. No stress,no phone calls, no meetings to attend,no boss.We find it very difficult to live life peacefully. We are always in the race of earning money, spending it on buying stuffs, homes, getting married, education etc. and having no free time to live, to meet our close relatives, to be happy,to be healthy. And then we say reality sucks. We are the one who makes our lives difficult by having too much ambitions which results in a horrific life. Thank you 😊😊

    • @@johnfreeborn979 Humans I think want to work and be productive, but they want to do it in their own terms, for themselves, and for their community. Being stuck in an ego-driven capitalist rat race isn't exactly what we're evolved to do. Yes in a first world nation a healthy young person can probably easily earn a living and survive in a dinky apartment. But there's no prestige, no community, no "purpose", and thus a reason to enter the rat race. And here we are, in YT comments pondering for what purpose we are working so hard.

    • These are great vides but as someone that has been to these places and many other minority areas these are def the "Good" of reality You will never see a town with some random girl running around doing everything while the family is chill with smiles This is the Western logic being injected into reality. I always suggest those that want to see the real to visit Hmong communities(North West Vietnam) or even North East Thailand were you'll see the OLD style Laos/Thai people. that live this way and how life is Its a good life on some days but its a struggle to survive as many of these groups do not have the support of governments, locals, or other things Hmong people for example are born and raised all over Asia and have no nation, in Vietnam they are typially NOT allowed VIetnamese IDs even though their last 300 years of family have been in Vietnam, thus almost no health care, no voting, no employment rights, nothing. Not to drag on but yeah this is a good video, but it is so far from reality and is more of a "Hollywood" outlook if anything

I live abroad in Thailand and understand the hardships just a little. I do realized that this is an idealized look into the family there, everything is a little to glossy and smooth. Living at 4000 meters now that is a hardship not easily challenged :) Your production skills of scripting, videography, editing and publishing these for me to live vicariously through is amazing, THANK YOU.
