The BEST WAY To Make a LITTLE House Feel BIGGER!

Greetings from ALASKA! Tanya and I just finished a hard day's work on the cabin. We started out with the goal of getting the ceiling re-insulated before nightfall but we ran out of both energy and daylight before we got that far. Even so, we're happy with the progress we made. Tomorrow is another day and we have some coffee we need to drink.
We are going to make a quick trip to Texas this week to visit family, but we will be back within a few days and continue our work on the cabin.
We love and appreciate all of you very much. Peace from Alaska

  • When he brought her shoes I melted. Reminded me of when I was sick my dad would bring me my shoes. He passed away 8 years ago. I miss my dad so very much. What sweat man. His wife is equally as sweet because she supports him.

  • From one KZheadr to another, I totally appreciate how the filming and editing process doubles the amount of work you do. I am so grateful that you continue with the difficult work of filming so that we can look forward each week to watching your wonderful videos. When I watch you I feel like I am there with you which is probably why I love watching so much. Now that your lovely wife has joined you in the videos they are even better. What a breath of fresh air she is with her cheerful demeanour. Hugs from England❤

  • At the end of each week, most of the time, my family and I leave the city and go to the children's grandparents, especially to see the sky full of stars in a town with much fewer lights. What you are doing there is wonderful, and the fact that Mr. Carpenter got a little burnt on his finger made me believe that he is human after all and not a god as I believed in what he builds. I personally love wood, Nature and the simple things in life and I try to share this with my 2 boys. Greetings from Bucharest ROMANIA and continued success. I always follow you with love and thank you for sharing this with us.

I can't think of any better hosts and look forward to having my first fun trip to Alaska (I've only ever been there for business) to include a stop at your lodgings. I continue to greatly enjoy your unique approach to making videos and love that even though there is much more dialogue, you don't talk at us, rather you continue to bring us along on your journey. • Super video, you had me laughing right along with you when you were trying to fit a piece of lumber that was too big into the wood stove. I’ve followed your videos since the beginning and have enjoyed all your projects. Also enjoy watching you and Tanya work together, especially the chat session at the end of the videos, great new adventure. 💕

  • Hey, I enjoy watching your channel especially since Tanya has decided to be apart of it. Truly heartwarming to see a couple working towards a common goal. And I appreciate you giving us a glimpse of that goal. A little frustrating trying to figure out what you're up to out there. To be honest the most compelling channels that I enjoy watching are the ones where the creator is passionate about their dream. I find your channel compelling, hope you keep it up. Cheers.

  • Hello, Tanya and Gala, to the greatest holiday for us Christians, which is the holiday of the resurrection. The pre-Christmas period of Easter is characterized by many activities in our country, and only today is the holiday fun. Thank you for the last video of the robot, you are going full steam and the effects are already visible. I can already imagine what you are going to do next. We are waiting for more videos of course after your return from Texas, we wish you good luck and a lot of impressions. God be healthy with you.

  • I love the fact that you invite us in for you morning chats. Coffee mugs, we all have too many and our favorites. So long as the handle does not get hot in the microwave, it passes. I hope you enjoyed your time with your son here in Texas. If I recall it was a decent weekend weather-wise. I am surprised to see so much snow in early April. Swinging a mallet or hammer for an extended period can sure drain the upper body. Love the editing and the unstoppable laughter. God Bless, and Happy Easter. Pete

    • Pete, a good coffee mug is a happy thing! We had a nice time in Texas and the weather was pretty perfect- not too hot, not too cold and not raining. We got outdoors a bit and enjoyed being with our son and his fiancé. It’s pretty typical for us to have snow here all through April and here in the mountains it’s the most popular time to ride snow-machine. Thanks for being here and laughing along with us. Wishing you and your family a blessed Easter. Take care, friend.

  • I've been watching you-all for over two years, I believe. You provide me, Leslie Ann, and Fred - husband - with many hours of knowledge, information and enjoyment. BUT, . . . we watch you on "the BIG screen" and so rarely see the comments. Today, I decided I would watch on my computer . . . a whole new experience! I particularly enjoyed the episode of Gale laying flat on his back with his nose up against the new ridge beam, pulling out the old rafters. Better than watching Sean Connery as 007!!! Because I/we have not watched on the computer, we thought your names were Bill and Tammy!! Close, but no cigar!! Hahahah! As always, BIG screen or small, Stella is a joy to behold!! And, I am especially LOVING Tanya's hair cut. It so suits you, Tanya . . . and takes away years from your age. We'll keep watching and loving your journey, especially since we're in Sarasota, Florida and NOT in the frigid temps of Alaska!! My irises are blooming and the Monarch butterflies are out and about, laying eggs on my dozens of Milk Weed plants! Soon we'll have Monarch caterpillars and cocoons. The wondrous cycle of Life! Have a GREAT day, unless you have other plans!! Regards, Leslie Ann & Fred

    • Leslie Ann & Fred, Gale is flattered by the 007 comparison and I thank you for the kind compliment about my hair!! I think you must be a kindred spirit with your lovely description of irises, butterflies and caterpillars. I was immediately and wonderfully transported to somewhere green, blooming and alive! Thank you so much for watching and for taking a moment to craft such a lovely comment. Enjoy your snowless spring in Florida and think of us occasionally. ❤️ Peace & blessing to you. ~Tanya ( &Gale too 😊)
