  • She obviously didn't watch the movie because there isn't a big focus on Snow White's love story at all. The focus is escaping her insane step mother, the love story is a complete afterthought.

    • I think the Dwarves operate as the heroes of the 1937 movie. The Prince is almost a Dues ex Machina (his appearance is set up, thougb) Maybe that is why the Dwarves will be excluded from the 2024 movie- it is supposed to focus i Snow White and not secondary characters like Dwarves who steal the movie from the lead actress.

    • @nellybelly4388 I found the original Alice in Wonderland terrifying as a child. As an adult I'm mature enough to know it's a cartoon, and if I got en entire JOB based around it I certainly wouldn't disrespect and talk down on the movie I'm supposed to recreate. I find her comments to be highly insulting to the people running the show. The writers, the producers, everyone puts years of effort into these films. They pour their love and passion into their work. To openly talk down about your own opportunity almost guarantees the opportunity will evaporate.

She hates having to hold back, she thinks she should be allowed to talk to the media like it's going to fix things when it only makes everything so much worse for herself. She was paired up with the actor for the little mermaid (forgot her name), and she's miserable because she actually has to behave herself. She's a brat that thinks if she stomps her feet enough she'll get what she wants. It's showen when she demands exceptionally high pay for everything she's done so far, is furious that they're cutting out an hour of the movie that failed horribly at the test screening and she blames literally everything on her audience who she actively talks down to. She's trying to play actor, director and promotions all at once when only one of those are her actual job and she does that poorly. I and my family would normally give a new film a chance to air before deciding on whether it has appeal or not... but I have to say, her loud, negative mouth for things that we have found very enjoyable in the past has caused us to decide to avoid anything of which she has a part. Question: Since when do these actors and actresses in Hollywood think it is OK to try the push their agendas on us, the viewers? We are seeking entertainment, NOT indoctrination. And, we vote with our wallets for that which appeals to us. Hollywood as a whole, would do well to remember that, and get off the woke feminist bandwagon BEFORE they go bankrupt....

    • Very well said. I'm a democrat (but was a republican in my earlier years) and I'm starting to get frustrated with both parties. I actually feel politically homeless. The only reason I'm not an independent is due to Maryland laws where I lose out on the ability to vote during the primaries. Now what does that have to do with all of this? Basically exactly what you said -- when I go out for entertainment, I want to get AWAY from all this stuff and not have it shoved in my face. She is an actress. She is paid to act. If she has strong political opinions, she is more than welcome to voice them but not using the studio's time and dime! I don't want to hear about her views and how she's trying to smash them into the new Snow White. If she wants to express her views, she shouldn't be using the intellectual property rights of the studio to give herself a larger soap box. And like this video said, not every woman wants to be a powerful CEO or a leader. That goes for men, also. Some people just want to do a good job, go home and enjoy their free time without having to constantly be some social hero. Every time I hear her talk, I get nauseous. Her voice is like nails down a chalkboard. I feel like she's never happy or satisfied when she's making 100x compared to most other people. Just STFU about Snow White and enjoy your privileges -- the intellectual property of the studio helped make you a millionaire. Why do you have to constantly go off?

  • Why is no one mad at Kirk from Girlmore Girls for saying the exact same thing but she is?🤔 All this hate and cancel culture is getting too extreme for my liking We’ve spent so long telling all the women that they have the power to be what they want to be and they should be equally as powerful as their male counterparts, yet now Rachel’s saying just that and everyone is cancelling her for it. It is true, not every woman wants/craves power, but that is not what she has said as she is talking in specific about her character in this version of the film - she ain’t generalising about all the women out there in the world. Walt Disney’s Snow White was just a cartoon version of an already created tale - however it feels everyone keeps forgetting as they call his version the “original version” 🤔…

But this is the first time I have had absolutely zero interest in seeing a Snow White retelling. Zegler is like a spoiled brat and thinks she can say and do whatever because she's an actress, and she speaks as if she wrote the "remake". I'm really sick of Hollywood forcing their agenda on us and deigning to think their perspective has any more significance than the rest of us. It's one thing to have an opinion. It's another to force it on people as if it's a fact -- and in Zegler's case, even mock people.

Jackson play snow white, 7 Expenables and christopher walken be the evil Queen...at least that would seem watchable.. Why are they calling it Snow White? I read someone calling it "Cafe Latte and the 7 diversity hires", that was more on point. Please stop butchering Western culture in the name of Wokeness. If they want to make a film without Snow White, why dont they just make a completly new movie? - Oh, i forgot, there are no creative storywriters at Disney anymore, so they cant make new stuff and always have to do remakes on everything. Southparks "Joining the Pandaverse" brought it to point very well where they say at the Disney-meating: "We keep making the same movie over and over again, we dont understand why it is not working." And I think, this is exactly what this will be; another movie full of pure nonsense feminism, where the prince is either a toxic masculine surpresser or a wimp and Snow White will be some sort of Godlike figure.

Modern western women just seem to progressively become more toxic, misandrist, ignorant and vile , modern women have zero accountability and don't do any self reflection and wonder what part they play in all of this, nope they think they're perfect and its all the mans fault. I am a woman and THANKFULLY I grew up in a time when things were normal so I lived in a time before all this malicious woke/feminist misery really got ramped up!
