Today Kelsey Impicciche begins a BRAND NEW challenge with the 100 Infant Challenge Speedrun using the new infants update and the Sims 4 Growing Together expansion! It's a challenge in the Sims 4 inspired by the 100 Baby Challenge. Thank you to EA for letting me try the new expansion and update early.

As a irl mom, this is very accurate representation of motherhood LOL! The prefers being held, getting peed on, blowouts, & not being able to take care of your own whims! All real experiences that I'm sure all mothers can attest to 😂
The blowout and getting peed on in the same diaper change is my ABSOLUTE favorite...😒

Oh my gosh I’m so excited! Especially with the new infant update! Idea: Name groups of children after different things! Months, days of the week (can you imagine Wednesday), colors, seasons, and so on! Girl Names: April Lacey Autumn Harlow Livia (after Olive) Kenzie Boy Names: Koa Luka Laken Kellan Ollie Rhys
Kelsey’s original 100 baby challenge is what go me into the sims in the first place. It’s still a favorite game of mine all these years later, so excited to see the new version!

Just a warning about having 20 sims in a household, unless they fixed this if you have a full 20 sim household sims will stop spawning in the world so you won't be able to find new baby daddies.

Also she might be aware of this and I'm not sure if this is still accurate... but when I used a mod to have a household higher than 8 sims, if I wasn't careful the "excess" sims will basically get Thanos snapped from existence. I think it mainly happened when I'd open the household in CAS (which refuses to show more than 8 sims) and then saved
@@sonozaki0000 Yup, this still applies - over 8 sims means she won't be able to go into household CAS without it deleting some. You can get around it by using the MC CAS option on a single sim, since this way doesn't load the household.

James Turner just did a 7 infant challenge and found that if you're playing as the infant you can see your needs and ask the adults for help. This worked WAY easier than having the adult trying to care for the baby! Loved the first 100 baby challenge and excited for this one 😁❤️
I watched the video and I'll add to that, James had a really hard time trying to care for 7 infants at once and ended up having to call a nanny because otherwise they would've started starving so Kelsey you might not be able to care for 7 infants at once without them getting taken away
Agreed I watched James turner do his and he had someone staying over plus a nanny n between the 3 of them they had difficulty handling 7 infants. I also watched dr gluon do a 7 infant challenge... his main adult died
I’m having a difficult time with TWINS which I don’t normally have issues with, so fingers crossed 🤞
It seems that they really talked with moms all over the world to know how to make our lifes difficult hahaha loved it

Loving this expansion pack. It's added so much depth to the family gameplay. Sadly, it's more chaotic than mere toddlers. Oh, how I miss the days filled with tiny terrors we call toddlers. Lol. Amazing first epi btw. ❤
The infant update will probably make people rethink ACTUAL IRL parenthood, cuz Cecilia is the literal description of an ACTUAL infant 😂😂😂
i have 2 infants in my game right now, and two parents AND a grandfather staying over, and my babies are driving us all insane lmao... and my sim is pregnant again,,,,,,, i didnt even see them doin it because i was so distracted with the infants on grandpa... this is crazy and more fun than ive had in ages on the sims
@@hollyshaw-elliemae The first pregnancy any Sim of mine had since the update resulted in natural triplets. It wasn’t even a ley line. They are currently infants, I am losing my sanity and both the parents are constantly miserable. It definitely adds challenge 😂😅

Oh, I was already reconsidering not being a parent with Sims ONE, where the babies screamed like demons and the parent Sims' plumbobs turned RED for the first time ever (when I wasn't offing someone on purpose). Toddlers in Sims 2 just made me nope right the heck out of there. Infants more realistically and detailedly confirm what I already decided. :P

Love that you're expanding the household beyond 8! Also love keeping Chelsea as the only matriarch. There's lots of ways in the sims 4 to extend her life span without cheats and it can be really fun to play with those lesser used features!

@@jessicarobinson2890 while I’m not a parent when I was a full-time babysitter (and tho my parents were pocketing the money) this is how I felt constantly bathing, feeding, doing all the laundry for everybody in the house, cooking, etc. I was literally a live-in service worker for a majority of my adolescence lol!

Sooo excited to see Kelsey doing another 100 baby challenge! I'm currently in the middle of a 1 matriarch 100 baby challenge- 62 babies in and haven't become an adult yet, so yes, it's possible. Gotta get the timing just right with it though and avoid having babies on the weekend if no kids are ready to move out. Helpful tip for anyone trying to speedrun this challenge... Get your romance meter high enough to woohoo/try for baby with your next baby daddy while still pregnant, then when the pregnant icon starts to flash or you go into labor, invite him over and lock the doors for only household members. That way, when you get back from the hospital, the baby daddy is already stuck there in the house and ready to make another baby. You're welcome.

Holy crap I’m getting flashbacks to me only 12 months ago lol! I remember screaming “I just need to pee” at one point whilst my baby was just being so fussy… yup sims have nailed it lol
I also thought that line was completely on point, though my flashbacks are from over 20 years ago. Some things you just never forget.

When you were first doing your 100 Baby Challenge I gave birth to my own little girl. She was a premie and had some medical complications. Your videos every Saturday helped us get through those 2 months we spent in the NICU. I’m so excited you’re doing this again and would love for you to name one of your girls Lily after my daughter ❤️
Kelsey you can check and see if your sim is pregnant without taking a pregnancy test by going to the simology tab and hovering over the lifespan bar. If they’re not pregnant it will say “X days until sim ages up” but if they are pregnant it will say “sims that are pregnant will not age up”
You can also hover over toilet, to see throw up. Only Prego Sims have that
You can also click on the bed or any other woohoo spot to look for the “try for a baby” option. That disappears once a sim is pregnant. :)
Plus, it's pretty easy to tell when a Sim is pregnant. Their hunger and bladder always rapidly go down compared to every other need.
I didn’t know pregnant sims didn’t age up. Interesting!

As an author who is self published (which means writing, formatting, soft edits, promoting, etc on top of paying out of pocket for cover art, editorial work, marketing, printing, shipping, etc) to where it’s a full time job and then some but some months I do only make $8 - I felt that 😂
I don’t know why but I’ve always found flower names like lavender, rose, lily and iris really sweet.

I watched the original series before having my first child and I got to say it hits different after having one. The struggling with only 1 baby commentary feels like everything I wish I could've said out loud at some point during that time of my sons life 😂
