Today Kelsey Impicciche begins a BRAND NEW challenge with the 100 Infant Challenge Speedrun using the new infants update and the Sims 4 Growing Together expansion! It's a challenge in the Sims 4 inspired by the 100 Baby Challenge. Thank you to EA for letting me try the new expansion and update early.

Game changer TIP in my challenge is to create a club with the current dads with activities like reparing, cleaning, painting (to sell) etc. and to start a club gathering whenever mom needs extra help. It's not for nothing that we say "it takes a village to raise a child" and it's true even in the sims😅

this inspired me to restart the 100 baby challenge with the infant update…. my sim had twins and then triplets and then I closed the game and I’m scared to reopen it

I had something similar. I had triplet girls, got pregnant again to try to give them a baby brother, then the dad electrocuted himself (May he rest in peace), and now my sim just gave birth to twin boys. She’s a single mother of 5, all under the age of children. It’s chaos. She is broke, mourning, and exhausted.
PRO TIP: When aging up the toddlers give them the trait 'Independent" it will make them 10x easier to handle, they like being alone and can use the potty by themselves and cry a lot less.
You can't cherry pick traits for toddlers, infants, kids, and teens.
Unfortunately we always randomize 😅 idk if she mentioned it first episode but it's part of the og rules
I always do that because I can’t be bothered to take care of my sim’s kids 😭
For when they become toddlers, I reccomed getting one of those dreamhome decorator childerens tents, and a stuffed bear. They get the imagination and communication skill up extremely quick!
Also will give Chealsy a bit of a break- shes fighting for her life out here.

Last year as a new mom I peed myself while trying to get my newborn changed... The The Sims team really nailed this expansion 🤣

Girl that and the not being able to shower for over 24 hours. My daughter is 9 months old and I'm 5 months pregnant and I shower 2-4 days a week. My husband works pretty late so we always put the baby to bed as I go to bed. Yet I wouldn't change anything. I LOVE motherhood

I find it hilarious that, when you started the original 100-baby challenge, I'd just gotten into university as a student and followed every one of your uploads religiously. You're now starting a new(ish) challenge, and I now teach at university. What a life! 😂
This used to be my favorite Saturday activity, I think I was a senior and then a college freshman during the first one this is nostalgic❤️

I had two cats, Belladonna and Beaux (rip) & she totally reminded me of calling them "Belle and Beaux".
It's not a real name, but I feel like any baby of Knox should be named "Fort". 😂

You can save money on pregnancy tests! If you hover the mouse over the age bar it will tell you if your sim is pregnant! Hope this helps :)

Woo! Next episode! Installing the mobile on the crib to play a lullaby is a game-changer. It's practically a tranquilizer. Names - Charlotte, Wilhelmina, Mikhail, Benjamin, Zachariah, Rosalina.

I was going to say this! The mobile will help so much. You have to add it when there’s no baby in the cot. 😊
One thing I noticed while playing with the new babies and infants is that changing their clothes actually helps! My newborn was crying non-stop, diaper changes and feeding didn't matter, but once I changes her onsie, she was fine!
For the future you can use the childrens aspiration points to get the potions like moodlets solver and sleep replacement and save yours for steel bladder(if you want to avoid bladder failure😊) fertility treatment trait and seldom sleepy so she can be a baby making machine and you don't have to focus on her needs as much

Hey Kelsey! Loving this so far! BTW, I don’t know if you noticed already, but you can play as the infant, and the infant can ask for help from an adult sim near them (doesn’t have to be Chelsey all the time), with stuff like bathing, feeding and so on
Came here to share this too! When the dads or random townies visit, the infants can just mind control them to take care of their needs and Chelsea can rest! Lol

Kelsey! Go to the romance festival and pick all the flowers in the boxes there. They are super high priced. Plant them and build a huge garden super easy way to make money and you can eventually just hire a gardener to take care of it too.
I played a bit with infants the other day and noticed when I put two in the same room, you have the action to have them interact with each other and build relationships. My two infants are already best friends! It is so adorable!!!!

Here's a tip: if an old baby daddy is bugging you, click on them, click friendly, and look for "ask to just be friends". This will remove all romance with said sim. They might still come over, but there is a smaller chance, and you won't have a problem with upset baby daddies like you (almost) did in Episode 1 :)
I did that with my second baby daddy and he still comes over to help out!!!
In honor of the baby being simultaneously her niece and her ex husband's love child with her sister, it should've been Kaylie and Kaylin for Knox' babies 🤣

Clubs are so good for this because you can set woohoo as a club activity so just add the baby daddy you want, buy the “flirty” club vibe and off you go 😂 definitely will help with a speed run
You should buy the money trash can. I feel like the amount of diapers and bottles you’ll have will be enough to almost cover all of Chelsea’s expenses 😂
I'm pretty sure that's what she's saving up for, and why she was saving dirty plates around the house on purpose. Yeah, that trash can is one of my faves too, especially now that DIRTY DIAPERS AND BOTTLES GO ALL OVER THE FLOOR. Oh, Sims 2 flashbacks. It's been a while since I had those. With the utterly useless nannies who just watched TV all day and left dirty bottles all over the floor...
She can make far more in a dumpster than in the money trash can. It will take ages just to get the 1200 back from the money trash can and then for it to make money. Eventually it is fine but right now I don't think it is smart gameplay when she needs other things for the babies more.

Here are some names that I think would be cool to see in your game from my banished game: Teen, Jamiro, Erleena, Darcia, Oswaldo, Melie, Irelai, Shyannemary, Rome, and many more. I think a lot of these names are funny and unique and I would be ecstatic if you used them, or even considered using them. Love your content ♥️.
For girls names you could do seasons or months. Like Autumn summer winter etc or you could do April May and so on. Love your videos!

Since you've already named a baby Olivia, maybe you could try something different like Liv or Ollie (gender neutral, so it could work for a boy or girl!)?
Just found your channel and I'm all in on this baby challenge. I've only played TS2, where you can do like 3 things with babies and that's it -- it's great to see how much more they've added, makes me want to play TS4! But for now I'll content myself with watching you, nice work :) How about some E names! Girl: Ellie, Emma, Esme, Elena, Eden, Evie Boy: Ethan, Elliott, Elijah, Ernie, Emmett, Eugene, Eeyore (OK that's kind of a goofy one but HOW CUTE)

Babies crying during tummy time isn't bugged! Tummy time is to teach them how to use their neck and chest strength, and they tend to hate it because it means they have to struggle to learn. Being a baby is truly suffering -- y'know, besides the universal affection, constant attention, free food and toys, lack of responsibilities...
Kelsey my idea is to name the babies down alphabetical order so that it's easier to keep track of them all since there will be multiples of the same age. Maybe skip A and do D names next followed by E etc
This is my plan IF I decide to redo the challenge. If I do, I am steering clear of lay lines and the fertility trait, though. 1 baby, 1 infant, and 1 tot is enough, at least until I start getting some teens in the house to help out.

In french, Belle and Bo (written Beau) is the feminine and masculine of "beautiful". I find it very cute that the twins' names mean the same thing! Can you call a girl "Camille" after me? (Yes its also french and a C name haha)

I feel your pain Kelsey! In my game, my single sim lives on a farm with 7 farm animals, several crops, and a toddler when she unintentionally had triplet infants 😖 There was no time for sleep - no time for anything really - and that was the closest one of my adult sims has ever come to starving to death 😅 We did survive though and although we only barely managed to keep our farm animals from running away, the crops were nice because all my sim had to do to make money was walk outside and sell some veggies.
Kelsey: "I'm going to do the 100 Infant Challenge!" The Sims: "Challenge accepted." Anna and Andrew would make great baby names.
I’m doing this challenge too, and one thing that’s been super helpful is upgrading the crib! As long as there isn’t a baby currently in it, you can upgrade it to add a mobile that can play lullabies, which will help soothe the babies and get them to fall asleep faster. Good luck! 🤗

Parenting takes a lot longer to level up BUT you can use super efficient baby care on infants.
I recommend getting steel bladder before the twins perk. Then get the less sleep one

In my most recent 100 baby playthrough, I made a baby daddy club with the traits being to clean, repair objects, and make food! This way you have help in the house to do things you don't always have time for, and the kids can see/ask help from the other parent!

I had two infants and a toddler. At one point, everyone was crying, and I just had the parents leave. I downloaded a hotel from the gallery, and they just slept. 😂I needed it as much as them.
