Today Kelsey Impicciche begins a BRAND NEW challenge with the 100 Infant Challenge Speedrun using the new infants update and the Sims 4 Growing Together expansion! It's a challenge in the Sims 4 inspired by the 100 Baby Challenge. Thank you to EA for letting me try the new expansion and update early.

So you're not single anymore?
Hopefully you already saw it in the other comments, but if you have more than 8 sims in the household with the mod limit increase you can't go into CAS without the game auto-deleting sims from your household. Also, name suggestion: Kai, for a boy or a girl :)

Kelsey, if you raise the household limit, going into CAS with more than 8 Sims in the household will delete extra Sims over that limit. Hopefully you see this before recording for next week 😅😅
I'm glad you said this, I thought of it too! I think there is a mccc setting to open cas for only one sim at a time but I can't remember exactly how to do it. I had to use that for my sims when I was playing multiple families on one lot a while ago! I believe you click a sim and go into the MC CAS setting.
Though, she did put the limit to 20 sims at the start of the episode, no?=)
Its Sim Commands. There you can edit only the household member you clicked on :)
@@s.b200 yes but it only works in live mode, cas still is not able to have more than 8 sims because of game limitations so it will just delete any sim it's unable to load.

Oh, yeah. I had a lot of...fun, the first time I had a Sim make "a" science baby. I was using the MCCC mod and had upped the number of kids you could have in one pregnancy. So imagine my reaction when my SINGLE MOM Sim walked happily home with... INSTANT QUADRUPLETS. They _all_ grew up with the "unhappy infancy" trait. Sorry, guys. Couldn't be helped. She was only one mermaid; you were four infants. Oof.
Cecilia be like, "Don't be part of the problem. Be the WHOLE problem."

Kelsey, PLEASE make a club with the ex-fathers or bachelors and set the club activities to be something useful to help take care of the babies!! Like cook, clean, fix objects, and be friendly (so hopefully the babies can ask for their needs to be met and they'll actually do them)! girl you cannot do it alone with all these strict requirements you set for yourself, please make it easier to at least be somewhat enjoyable of a challenge for you 😭 you don't have to grind yourself into madness for content

This is exactly what I did, at least until I had teenagers, and it was so incredibly helpful! Plus, I found it cute that the kids could bond with their dads 😊

TIPS FOR CARING FOR INFANTS: You can put a radio in the room in which they sleep, they will go to sleep by themselves with the lullaby option You can clean them in the sink instead of the bathtub for it to be quicker, I usually do it 7 times in a row No bottlefeeding there is bottle everywhere, ugh Keep them in different time zone, they should never sleep at the same type In generals I put musics in every room for my sims to keep being happy Of course always cooks dishes for 8
When I tried having a radio on for my infants, it kept them awake.
@@Mellie Did you put it on a medium to low level ? And also did you put the lullaby because for me it has the same results as the on in their crib

I also did not realize science babies were instantaneous and accidentally had instant triplets in my game 😅 My sims was a single mom that already had a toddler, 7 farm animals, and several crops. That was the closest an adult sim of mine has ever come to starving to death...
there’s a mod to give you the option for pregnancy! but yeah, in base game, it’s instant 😭😭

@@starstruck_gay I got up to 2 toddlers, 4 infants, and 2 newborns before I quit lol. The bathtub was glitching and I couldn’t get anything to work. I’m thinking I’ll try again eventually, but not until the bugs are worked out lol

If you get rid of the bin next to the changing table, diapers from the infants also get tossed on the floor and can be put in the fancy trash can. This way, you can buy a better bed for Chelsea!
That's what I'm doing...the same thing with baby bottles. All the newborn and infant used items add up in the fancy trash can...if you get an infant with the messy eater trait too...all those piles of food on the floor add up to quite a bit of money very quickly.

You can have the baby daddy’s do a ‘long stay’ and they can help with the children it’s the only way i made it through five infants 😂😂
And if you do long stay - click on them and ask them to help during their stay, so they don't just take up space doing nothing.

Kelsey, I think you're gonna have to relax one or two of those rules from the previous challenge (maybe let yourself hire a nanny?) if you want to mod this to have 20 sims in the house at once. These infants are sooooo much harder than they used to be (and so are the tods!)
Otherwise these kids are all gonna be sad all the time and Chelsea is going to always be ready to pee herself or pass out.

Risshella is using a nanny and she's barely making it ( she doesn't pay for her tho because she never leaves), it could be the regular babysitter from the game or one of littlemssam mod's live in nanny or extra nanny
@Marina Oliveira Yeah it seems like nannies don't help all that much. But Bonehilda/maid service, or even Kelsey letting herself keep 1 or 2 adult children around would help. The rules of the challenge for the speed run are way too strict with the new features. Shoot, I'd even advocate for cheats at this point. It's supposed to be fun.
I think a really pretty and unique girl name is Lilliosa :) And a super cute twin name if she has a twin sister could be Lavender!! I just started getting back into Sims4 content after a couple years, and I'm so glad I came across your videos! They're super fun to watch :)

I’m also trying to do the 100 baby challenge with the new infants. Something that really helps is to collect strawberries and snapdragons and splice them to get dragon fruit, hire a gardener to take care of all the plants, and sell all the harvestables. It takes very little time and effort for my matriarch and isn’t against the rules. Also, befriending the smart speaker is another great strategy because the smart speaker will hire free repair services and maids when the house needs maintenance.
Make a club with the daddies where gardening is one of the activities😉

I found that having frogs to breed in my inventory was really helpful for the extra money. If you get some rare ones it's like $100 every couple of sims hours. It got to the point where I started looking at things in terms of "That's only 3 frogs worth of money!"

There is a mod to turn science babies into pregnancies! Also, you can start a Stay Over event in the calendar and ask Sim to "help out" and they'll help with child care. 🤩
Good suggestions! Once some of the kids become young adults and move out, it would be fun to invite them over to help take care of their new siblings.

When any sim comes to the door, Chelsea should invite them in and ask them to help out!
If the baby has been introduced to the visitor, I'm pretty sure that the baby can "ask" them to do whatever they need help with. Vistors are also more helpful when the computer's security setting restricts it to household members only. I'm pretty sure restricting the computer is a standard feature, not a MCC thing, so it shouldn't count as a cheat for challenge purposes.
@@Lespritdelescali I have to lock my computer or the doors to that room because guests will literally spend all their time on it.
