Very nice Jack.
Wow! I had no idea where that was going for a while. Great work!
Do we find out why the wood was sentimental?
I would like to know!
Awesome job! You are very talented 😊My first husband used to make knives. He made the blade from one out of an old chain saw bar.
Beautiful knife! An unexpected variation from wood turning, and an exquisite result! I love knives, and I can see that your wood-turning skills are matched by your bladesmithing! God bless ALL of us! WWG1WGA
Hard to type because i have bandages on my clicky hand. But I love making Scandinavian knives, etc. This is right up my alley. Good stuff. Good choice to use the bone there. 👍
Is that real sinew? I use that too!
Hello Jack beautiful knife Beautifully restored well done
Looks like there's still a bit of the wood left?Love the way you use all sorts of tools with no gloves, but a needle and thread....😮😂
Helps with the grip 😆
That's a knife and scabbard that will last. Very nice work.
Literally Jack of all trades
Nice
That came out very nice. That is the 1st time I have ever seen someone make a handle for a knife and a knife Sheath.

I'm impressed by your work once again! Excellent!!❤
Ohhhhh yeah, Mr. Jack Mack...it is a wonderful experience to see you are a man of unlimited talents!! I noticed that you have aquired a few owies along the way, but in a sense, what better badges of showing your fearless, hands-on skills to try new with the old. More proof that your mind and hands are quite capable of extraordinary works with all kinds and sorts of materials. It's stunning to think where these new ideas will take you. All the possibilities ahead... WoW...just WoW!! Again, Mr. Jack, thank you kindly for letting us all see you continue to grow, and continue with great work. Fantastic knife btw, anxiously awaiting your next ideas come to life!! 😳😁👍

Very attractive knife. Love the grain of that wood. Looks like you've done leather work before. Beautiful !
I had literally never worked with leather before this project 😆😆.. I’m happy with this outcome. Thanks you
@@JackMackWoodturning You looked like an old pro working and cutting that leather.
Beautiful knife, stunning. I learnt so much from this video, you showed the process and tricks well and so explanatory even without words. Thank you. I wonder if you bought that leather round edge knife or made it? I cannot recall seeing a video on it in the last couple years, but will go back looking now.
WOW 💥🙌
...for something completely different, I'd say you "handled" it extremely well...😉 I'm impressed...are you a Jack of all trades??? Matt
Very, very nice Jack Mack. You are a man of many talents and an awesome tool set. What was the last thing you used on the leather ? Was it saddle soap ?
Great project, J! It came out awesome... V
As always Jack another stunning piece 💞
Quite different. I enjoyed watching the video.
Very nice. You have many talents. ❤
Hermoso trabajo!!!!! 👏👏👏💖💖💖🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷
I don't see the link to the blade manufacturer but I bet "JP" stands for Jouko Pirppu who makes exellent knives from start to finnish.
So sorry. Iv added it now JP stands for Julius Pettersson. You can buy his blades from Woodlore website and he was also featured on a very old ray Mears episode. www.raymears.com/Bushcraft_Product/427-Julius-Pettersson-Hand-Forged-Knife-Blade/
Excellent work, sir. ;)
Show, ficou linda.
You Should Create a complete Set of Dinner 🍽️ Utensils that would truly be Incredible to See. I can't wait to See what You do Next. Sincerely 🤠 Mr Severance, "The Cake 🍰🎂🥳🎉🥮 Man".
Nice bit of leather work! Pretty sure you used to have a metal working channel - maybe only a couple of videos put out, I think I’m right aren’t I?
♥️♥️♥️ 🎉🎉🎉
What if you took a burl, soaked it in green dye, poured blue resin over it and carved a bowl that looks like the earth?
Hello Jack, what is the white material you used? Thanks.
Thats buffalo bone.
OK, a great piece of burl all cut up???????????? (did I miss something)
I can only think you missed the entire video..
👋👍
Why does this wood look like it contains the souls of a million forgotten children?
😆
What tools company do you use for sculpting?
Yew
Nice also first comment
And first like

Buffalo fat for the leather. Wise choice.
Looks great, but it would have to be kept secure and hidden away at home with what is happening in Australia these days!
Thanks. What’s happening in oz ? I have many unsheathed knives in my kitchen.😆
Crazy things are happening with some people and knives...
Hmm there is no turning at all, so y you called this Woodturning -Bone , Leather and Burl ? …. Clickbait ? You dont need it 🤨
Don't be such a prick. There is a million videos about wood turning so don't be hateful
