I am thinking of going there on a camp tour. Only draw is the ever lasting conflict in the mainland Yemen. When I know the starvation is happening there, I am hesitant to soehd money on my pleasure. May the eternal peace come back to Yemen.

This is beautiful. I have visited twice in the last few years. You have really captured how majestic the island is, and the joy of everyone who lives on Socotra.
Yes, I would like to see Dragon’s blood, the tree that bleeds dragon blood is the Scotra dragon tree, found nowhere in the world but here. the resin has been prized since Roman times as a hemostatic agent and painkiller.

Socotra Island is mentioned in ancient Yemeni inscriptions.. It is known historically in history books that it is Yemeni Arab.. What will you do, will you be expelled? The original inhabitants of the island? ..Also about which territorial waters are you talking about? It seems that you do not study geography well..What do you think about owning the entire Indian Ocean?? Territorial waters are not based on geography only, there are other criteria... I hope you will study history and geography again

Socotra and New Caledonia are the places I want to see before I die. They're a botanist's dream (after South Africa of course :P ). This programme looks like heaven. I need to save up and make it happen. Thank you for doing this

This is, with no doubt, one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Great job on the video, on the Inertia Network initiative. I would love to join you one day. The closest I have been to Socotra was in Ethiopia a place very deep in my heart. Eisa the travel guide was honest in his report of the island life and its people. I understood him completely with no efforts. If you ever come to Miami Beach you are welcome in my family. I always wanted to go there and I pray that my dream come true. This is AMAZING. Socotra such a beautiful place. I never know about Socotra island until I watch this documentary. Although socotra island not that well connected with the rest of the world, but experiencing on hand there, really an eye opening for the potential of amazing discovery and exploration. Would really love to do jungle trekking and hiking there, learning the local culture and connecting with the people there. Amazing!
